When this trecena was last in place it was straddling the old year and bridging into the new, giving people a kind of “head’s up” with regard to what they might expect from 2026. There was a strong expectation that the year would be rough and that a great deal of defiance would be needed to push-back against the atrocities that were being perpetuated on so many levels.

Now, after completing one full cycle since the start of the year (as of 5 Kawak on Sept. 18th) there is a strong sense that change is in the air. As this trecena begins, with only 50 days remaining until the US midterm elections, the battle is on in the bid for congressional seats, and there is every indication that the results of these elections will bring a significant reconfiguration of the US Congress. If so, a massive effort will be underway to stabilize the sinking ship of state and hold people accountable for all the destruction that has resulted from the staggering malice, incompetence, stupidity, and cruelty that has been the hallmark of the dumpster’s administration.

As always, there will be a strong “call to action” during this period in preparation for forthcoming events, so this trecena is well positioned to meet the challenges ahead. Indeed, this is an energy zone that is often oriented around power, high vision, military strength, and determined action, as symbolized by the eagle. The emphasis is often on ideas such as “pushing for supremacy”, “sabre-rattling”, and even outright combat, as seen eight challenging cycles ago when the dumpster unleashed a violent mob on the US Capital.

The last time these forces were in place the US carried out an illegal attack on Venezuela and federal agents began attacking their own citizens in Minnesota. But people are ready this time. They have built up a strong arsenal of tactics over the past few cycles – and they know that an “all hands on deck” approach is needed as this battle continues. As legal expert Prof Lawrence Tribe said two cycles ago, “We are at a profound crossroad in the history of the US. It’s up to all of us not to give in to the tyrant.”

Traditionally, the Aztec saw this time frame as being under the patronage of two deities, one of whom was Ixtlilton (an aspect of the awesome Tezcatlipoca, “smoking mirror” deity aligned with fire, strength, “supremacy”, and divination – in the sense of being able to see and reveal sins and determine fates). The other was the goddess Xochiquetzal (Flower Feather), aligned with artistry, creativity, household arts, fertility, and female sexual power. As a protector of young mothers and a patroness of childbirth, she was a “warrior” in her own right, aligned with the idea of “women as warriors”, particularly those who died in childbirth who were esteemed for their bravery.

This is a rather complex pairing of influences aligned with insight, bravery, strength, creativity, ingenuity, and transformation. As there is a strong divination aspect to these energies, in the sense of “seeing into or through the darkness” with a kind of “eagle-eye sharpness”, this is often a period during which sins of the “enemy” on a battlefield can be revealed so that the enemy can be effectively dealt with, to begin a process of healing. Note that the elaborate Hindu festival in honour of Lord Ganesha, the remover of obstacles and giver of good fortune, is coinciding with this trecena at this particular time – running through most of the trecena, and several other important global celebrational events will take place, so the creative (and even healing) aspects of these patron forces will play out in a multitude of ways during this period.

What is unknown is how these forces might influence conflicts such as the Russia-Ukraine war. Hopefully creative ways will be found to curtail the dreadful war crimes against civilians that have been perpetuated by Russia’s recent attacks on Kyiv and other areas. A recent article in The Hill outlined several options for bringing that war to an end.

In this regard, it might be helpful to keep in mind the message that runs through so many Star Wars films about how even a small, determined group of “warriors” can make a tremendous difference in pushing back, and even destroying, what may seem to be an overpowering force. A testimony to all that is being inaugurated this week in LA – as George Lucas, who is “used to doing the impossible”, opens his new Lucas Museum of Narrative Art during this period. This is a museum devoted to story, and is a reminder of the power of words – and the influence of “story” on people’s thoughts and actions. Story affects belief, and beliefs affect actions. Awareness of where stories come from can play a vital role in the overall chain of events.

Keep in mind, as we go through this energy sequence, that these calendrical forces are cyclical. Echoes from earlier events often filter through to current events, and similar kinds of events often repeat – and key events related to “accountability” often appear during this energy sequence. Note that this trecena is marking 13 cycles since the dumpster was first put under criminal investigation for obstruction of justice. And just one cycle ago it was learned that Jack Smith’s investigation of the insurrection attempt revealed that there was “proof beyond a reasonable doubt” that Trump “engaged in a criminal scheme to overturn the results of the 2020 election and to prevent the lawful transfer of power”.

Over the past 260 days Republican support for his administration has continued to dwindle, MAGA continues to splinter, and the deep corruption associated with a number of Republican candidates is being constantly exposed. Moreover, his administration has shown that there is no strategy for ending conflicts and no “agenda” or plan for helping citizens to recover from the atrocities that have been inflicted on them, including economically. He has even robbed the citizens of the US of their opportunity to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the declaration of independence, because his only agenda has been self-aggrandizement. So the stage is set for a huge comeuppance.

As this push towards liberation from this oppression continues keep in mind that the patron forces for this period are aligned with bravery, insight, and creativity – and this time even Lord Ganesha, the remover of obstacles and giver of good fortune, is aligning with this energy sequence. Hopefully all of this will put “wind in the sails” of those who are working so hard to reestablish some sense of order and stability in the world. Here are the energies that are coming into play:

1 Men (Sept. 14th) – the “initiation” of a high-flying (Eagle oriented) solar energy, a kind of “pushing for supremacy” type of force as was in place eight cycles ago, in early January of 2021, when Nancy Pelosi made history by securing a 4th term as Speaker of the US House of Representatives. That was one day after the sore loser of the election had “berated, begged, and threatened” Georgia’s Secretary of State Raffensperger to overturn the results of the 2020 election in that state; and hundreds of DoJ officials threatened to resign en masse rather than follow said sore loser’s efforts to get them to overturn the election.

In the past this energy has often manifested in the form of declarations of war, major battles, anti-government demonstrations and significant calls for reform, and even aggressive actions that have served to advance select interests. In 2003 this was the energy in place when the U.S. declared war against Iraq and began their invasion of that country. In 2014 this was in place when the U.S. launched airstrikes against ISIS groups in Iraq, and now the US is in a war of its own making with Iran and its allies, with repercussions being felt globally, and no plan or solution in sight.

And still Israel keeps attacking Palestinians and still the Russia-Ukraine war drags on, with this “eagle warrior” energy now marking 18 Tzolk’in cycles exactly since the start of the 2013 Maidan Uprising in Ukraine. That was the wave of protest reactions that sprung up when the then-pro-Russian government declined to sign association and free-trade agreements with the EU, which outraged the large numbers of Ukrainians who saw this as “a big step backwards”. Little did they know at that time that they would be brutally attacked by Russia in subsequent years, beginning with the annexation of Crimea by Russia a few months later, in Feb. of 2014.

Currently one of the biggest looming global threats has to do with AI, with researchers calling for measures to be put into place to slow the pace of development and improve  safety. As high-level debates continue in the UN’s General Assembly during this period, the UN’s Human Rights Commissioner Volker Türk is also warning that AI could pose an “existential threat to humanity”. He is calling “for an all-out effort to put cast iron guarantees in place around the safety and security of AI, before it is too late”.

On a happier note, this is the start of the 10-day Ganesh Chaturthi festival in honour of Lord Ganesha, the remover of obstacles, giver of good fortune, patron of the arts, letters, and knowledge, and Lord of New Beginnings. This is one of the most important festivals in Hinduism. Lord Ganesha’s birth is celebrated on this first day of the festival, now coinciding with the first day of this Eagle trecena, as people set up statues decorated with flowers, garlands, and lights to welcome Ganesh into their homes and temples.

2 Kib’ (Sept. 15th) – a “dynamic” type of energy that can “shake things up” but ultimately tends towards being a “getting down to business” type of force that can lead towards the restoration of order, now marking 13 cycles since special counsel Robert Mueller’s announcement in 2017 that Trump was officially under criminal investigation for obstruction of justice. That was when nearly 200 congressional Democrats announced a lawsuit against the dumpster over his breach of the foreign emoluments clause that forbids federal officeholders from taking foreign payments and gifts. Hello! The question remains – what happened to that lawsuit and why hasn’t that clause been enforced!! And what about the recent report that Steve Witkoff, the dumpster’s “special envoy”, has hauled in more than $257 million since his involvement in Trump 2.0? As Senator Whitehouse said, just three days before this: “It’s not just the business deals, it’s the Trump/Kushner/Witkoff stake in corrupt Russian deals. . . . If the [deal] terms looked like they were cooked up in the Kremlin, it was because they were.”

Currently this is the UN’s International Day of Democracy, when there will be a free online screening (starting at 7pm ET) of “Lightworkers”, a documentary film about “Democracy, Hope, and Civic Action”.

It is also Hispanic Heritage Day at the start of National Hispanic Heritage Month under the theme of “Unidos, Somas Mas – Together, we are More”.  In addition, this is the 205th anniversary of Central America (including present day Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Nicaragua, and Honduras) officially declaring its independence from Spain in 1821, on the the eve of Mexico’s Independence Day. Every year on the eve of this special day Mexico’s president re-enacts some version of El Grito de Dolores (the “Cry of Dolores”), in a “Viva México! Viva la Independencia! Vivan los héroes!” ceremony broadcast throughout the country, in remembrance of the call to arms that triggered the Mexican War of Independence.

With regard to this day, Mesoamerican archaeologist/mythologist Karl Taube (and others) have made reference to the local Maya belief in the Yucatan that on September 15th “giant feathered serpents, the noh kaan, emerge from the sacred lakes of Coba to create havoc where they fly”.  So it seems that if one is in the Yucatan at this time this would be not only the eve of a great national festival but also a day to watch out for plumed serpents. It may be that, since feathered serpents are symbolic of freedom and liberation, this could be a variant on the independence day celebrations.

This is also the 86th anniversary of Battle of Britain, aka Battle of Britain Formation Day, in commemoration of the day in 1940 when the German Luftwaffe launched its largest and most concentrated attack on London. Fortunately, the RAF successfully fought them off, and the Luftwaffe suffered heavy losses.

3 Kab’an (Sept. 16th) – the “activation” of “movement” or “earth movement”, as was in place in December of 2019 when Dr. Li Wenlaing in Wuhan, China issued the first emergency warning to collegues that there were 7 confirmed cases of coronavirus in the city – the first hint of the forthcoming world pandemic.

On this second day of National Hispanic Heritage Month, this is Mexico’s Independence Day, celebrating 216 years since the start of the Mexican War of Independence. This is also the UN’s International Day for the Preservation of the Ozone Layer.

It has now been two cycles since strong signs of push-back against authoritarian dictates began to appear in the U.S., as when Harvard’s president said in a letter that the university would not comply with the Trump administration’s demands to dismantle its diversity programming and to limit student protests in exchange for its federal funding. Throughout this trecena at that time a multitude of high level pushbacks played out, often through the courts. Hundreds of lawsuits against his administration have been filed in federal courts since then.

It has now been six Tzolk’in cycles precisely since the start of the Jan. 6th Committee’s public hearings in Washington D.C. in 2022. On that very first day of testimonies, evidence was put forward to reveal that an “attempted coup” was pre-planned, with that plan being “for all hell to break loose” to prevent Vice President Mike Pence from certifying the election results. Overall during the hearings, the Committee conducted over 1,000 interviews and collected over 140,000 documents associated with the planning and execution of the insurrection.

This is the Maya birth energy of Shirley Chisholm, the first black woman elected to the US Congress – and a true “visionary warrior”. Her 100th birthday would have been Nov. 30th, 2024.

4 Etz’nab’ (Sept. 17th) – a “defining” type of energy aligned with Etz’nab’s flint-oriented, “knife-edged, shock and awe” dazzle, now coinciding with Constitution Day in the US (in observance of the signing of the Constitution in 1787), and marking eight cycles exactly since January 6th, 2021, when that frenzied mob, worked up by a diabolical covey of seditious politicians who were trying to subvert the election results, violently attacked the Capitol building in Washington D.C. at the very time when the Joint Session of Congress was attempting to ascertain and count the Electoral College votes to formally declare the results of the 2020 election.

But note that it was also in place, exactly one cycle ago, when the House Judiciary Committee released the transcript from the Jack Smith hearing regarding his investigation of that insurrection attempt, which revealed that his investigation showed “proof beyond a reasonable doubt” that “Trump engaged in a criminal scheme to overturn the results of the 2020 election and to prevent the lawful transfer of power”. He added that his team also put together “powerful evidence” that showed that the dumpster “willfully retained highly classified documents after he left office in January of 2021, storing them at his social club, including in a ballroom and a bathroom”. He added that Trump “repeatedly tried to obstruct justice to conceal his continued retention of those documents”.

At that time the New York Times reported that the US justice department was believed to be reviewing some 5.2 million pages of documents relating to the disgraced financier and sex offender Jeffrey Epstein – an effort that was drawing resources away from existing cases. But much of that was redacted and much is still being withheld from public view.

Note, as well, this was the energy in place in 2022 (6 cycles ago) when former Bolivian president Jeanine Áñez was found guilty of orchestrating a coup that brought her to power during a 2019 political crisis. She was convicted of making “decisions contrary to the constitution” and of “dereliction of duty”. She was convicted after the prosecution revealed how Áñez had violated norms that guarantee the constitutional and democratic order. She is now serving 10 years in prison. And, of course, former Brazilian president Bolsonaro is also in prison for his role in an attempted coup in that country.

Currently this is the UN’s International World Patient Safety Day, with this year’s theme being “Safe care for noncommunicable diseases”.

5 Kawak (Sept. 18th) – the “blessing” of “stormy” compassion; a precision kind of energy that can stir emotions and trigger important events, coinciding with Independence Day in Chile and International Equal Pay Day.

This 5 Kawak energy is now marking eight cycles since Jan. 7th, 2021, when members of Congress in the U.S. returned to complete their task, in the early morning, even though they had been under attack for hours during the insurrection. That was when Joe Biden and Kamala Harris were confirmed as the new U.S. president and vice-president. That was the day, as the mess from the insurrection was being cleaned up in Washington, when newspapers around the world ran headlines such as “ ‘Trump blows up US democracy’: the world watches in horror” (The Guardian) – – – and the world has been watching in horror ever since as he has set fire to the entire governing and judicial infrastructure of his own country; attacked free speech; dismantled or reversed decades worth of human rights, health related, education related, and scientific advancements (including those related to environmental protections); isolated the US from the rest of the world; destabilized global trade; began waging wars; and turned his administration into “a full time grifting operation” (as MSNOW’s Nicolle Wallace recently put it).

The question still remains – when and how is it going to be brought to an end?

In Vancouver this is the start of the two-day Fire Dragon dance festival, as Venus reaches its greatest brilliancy in the evening sky, projected to be its brightest appearance this year.

6 Ajaw (Sept. 19th) – an “everywhere” type of energy associated with full sun and the power of enlightenment, coinciding with the start day for Munich’s 191st Octoberfest, one of the largest festivals in the world. This is also the start day for Vancouver’s 36th Flamenco festival (Sept. 19-27th) which celebrates the artists, musicians, dancers, teachers, and audiences that helped to build a strong interest in this art form.

In the US this is the 230th anniversary of George Washington’s farewell address (on Maya day 7 Men in 1796), in which he exhorted Americans “to set aside their violent likes and dislikes of foreign nations, lest they be controlled by their passions”. He also warned that political parties “may now and then answer popular ends, they are likely . . . . to become potent engines by which cunning, ambitious, and unprincipled men will be enabled to subvert the power of the people and usurp for themselves the reins of government, destroying afterwards the very engines which have lifted them to unjust dominion”.

This is the Maya birth energy of Bernard Lyot, the French astronomer who invented the coronagraph to study the sun’s corona and its prominences without having to wait for a solar eclipse. Four cycles ago, Deep Space Optical Communications technology, or DSOC, achieved what engineers called “first light,” the feat of successfully sending and receiving its first data from far beyond the moon.

7 Imix (Sept. 20th) – “self-generating” birth, an energy often asssociated with the envisioning of a “new order of being”, coinciding at this time with the World Cleanup Day, and the start of Climate Week NYC, which runs through to Sept. 27th . This event is held in partnership with the UN General Assembly.

This “mid-point of this trecena” energy was in place when Hernán Cortés and his Spanish conquistadores arrived at Tenochtitlan (Mexico City) in 1519, marking the beginning of a “titanic” struggle for power that involved the Spanish siege of Tenochtitlan and its ultimate defeat two years later. And the U.S. is still dealing with its own “titanic” struggle for power, with the orange usurper in the White House becoming more and more visibly deranged, and more and more desperate every day, particularly with the rapid approach of the midterm elections. This day is marking one cycle exactly since the US carried out a pre-dawn assault, involving more than 150 aircraft, including bombers and fighter jets, on Venezuela (without congressional support), bombing a number of sites (both military and civilian) in Caracas, which was seen as “naked imperialism”, a heinous crime of aggression in breach of international law.

This is 46th anniversary of Terry Fox run day, when hundreds of Canadian communities hold fundraising runs for cancer research, in honour of Terry’s Marathon of Hope that he began in 1980. On this day William Shatner will debut his Heavy Metal Band at Riot Fest in Chicago – really??

This is Sir David Attenborough’s Maya birth energy (his 100th birthday was last May 8th), and legendary actress Sophia Loren will celebrate her 92nd birthday on this day. Happy birthday Sophia! Yom Kippur (the Jewish Day of Atonement) begins at sunset.

It has now been nine cycles since (in early 2020) the dumpster had “one of the worst days in one of the worst weeks” in his so-called “presidency” under this influence as even his closest allies were backing away from his increasingly inane statements about how to deal with the pandemic. Unfortunately they did not back away far enough.

8 Ik’ (Sept. 21st) – the “resurrection” of wind/breath/spirit; symbolic of the great Maya maize deity working together with the wind/breath/spirit aspect of Quetzalcóatl, on this UN International Day of Peace, with this year’s theme being “Invest in Peace – For Everyone, Everywhere, Every Day”. An International Peace Festival is being held in Toronto at this time.

This is also World Gratitude Day, World Alzheimer’s Day (associated with raising awareness about Alzheimer’s and dementia) and Yom Kippur (the Jewish Day of Atonement).

In Japan this is Respect for the Aged Day, and the first day of the two-day Nezujinja Shrine Grand Festival, one of Japan’s three major Edo festivals. This is one of Japan’s grand festivals, with another major event taking place on Sept. 27th.

9 Ak’b’al (Sept. 22nd) – an “outwardly-projecting”, longevity-related, type of force often aligned with the idea of “temple” or “house”, deep esoteric mysteries, and even “darkness”, coinciding at this time with the Autumn Equinox and Hobbit Day, marking the shared birthdays of Bilbo and Frodo Baggins from The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings.

This is the first day of the UN’s General Assembly High-Level Week, with the high-level General debate running through to Sept. 26th, and Sept. 28th. This is also the day when the stunning new George Lucas Museum of Narrative Art will open in LA.

In 2016 this was the energy in place at the beginning of a 4-day nuclear war drill in Russia that involved some 40 million civilians, tens of thousands of emergency workers and troops, and more than 50,000 vehicles, which was seen as a major “head’s up” with regard to Putin’s warmonering, and the darkness that was to come. And even now the actual Russia-Ukraine war still drags on, with Russia continuing to pound Ukraine on a daily basis, essentially committing “crimes against humanity” on a daily basis.

It has now been eight cycles since that Jan. 11th, 2021 “incitement of insurrection” article of  impeachment (against Trump) was introduced in the U.S. House of Representatives, as a growing number of Republicans were declaring that the dumpster was unfit for office. At that time Republican Senator Toomey said that Trump had “descended into a level of madness and engaged in activity that was absolutely unthinkable and unforgivable.” At the same time Senator Mitch McConnell met with two longtime advisors, at which time he said: “The Democrats are going to take care of the son of a bitch for us . . . If this isn’t impeachable, I don’t know what is.” But at that time too many Republicans were too spineless to actually vote to impeach. If they had done what needed to be done at that time, how much turmoil and grief would have been spared? How many millions of lives would have been saved?

10 K’an (Sept. 23rd) – “foundational germination” – a force that can be quite volatile, as in the generation of strong weather conditions or in the eruption of strong emotion-propelled action that could “germinate” into new directions, coinciding at this time with the UN’s International Day of Sign Languages and the UN’s High-level Event on Climate Action and the Just Transition.

This energy is also coinciding with Anant Chaturdashi, the day of the biggest spectacle of the Ganesh festival in India and elsewhere, that began on Sept. 14th. This is the day when Ganesh statues are submerged in bodies of water, so that Ganesh can “become formless” once again and people can ask him to return next year. Ganesh “assumed form” on the first day of the festival, and returns to formlessness on this final day, symbolically representing an endless cycle. The teaching is that all things change but “Source” (the “Supreme Truth”) remains the same.

In 1813 this was the energy in place when James Madison (“The Father of the Constitution” and the main force behind the ratification of the US Bill of Rights) was inaugurated for his second term as US President. Unquestionably he would be appalled to see the heinous and wanton destruction taking place in so many areas at the whims of the deranged current occupant of the White House.

This is Bruce Springsteen’s 77th birthday, when New Jersey will celebrate Bruce Springsteen Day.

11 Chikchan (Sept. 24th) – inspirational Lifeforce, aligned with Liberation and Higher Consciousness, this is a Burner Day traditionally associated with “extinguishing the fire” – often signalling some kind of change in direction (particularly of an energy sequence), as seen in August of 2019 (10 cycles ago) when an unidentified whistleblower sent a credible complaint (“an urgent concern”) to the inspector general of the US intelligence community, which (eventually) led to the dumpster’s first impeachment trial in early 2020. Two cycles after that, precisely, the US House of Representatives impeached the dumpster for the second time (the first time that had ever happened), via a bipartisan vote. There is now overwhelming evidence that could serve as the basis for a third (and very comprehensive) impeachment trial.

It has now been one cycle since Germany’s President Steinmeier, speaking at a symposium in Berlin, warned that the erosion of the world order had already reached an advanced stage, due to Russian aggression and the “breakdown of values by our most important partner, the US”. He referred to the rupture of that order as being “epochal”.

Currently this is the day of the United Nations’ High-level Plenary Meeting to Address the Existential Threats Posed by Sea Level Rise. It is also World Maritime Day, with this year’s theme being “From Policy to Practice: Powering Maritime Excellence”.

This is Remember Me Thursday, a focal point for a global campaign to increase awareness of pet adoption organizations around the world, a campaign to help orphaned pets to find forever homes.

As this would have been Jim Henson’s 90th birthday, the Museum of Moving Image in New York is hosting a four-day commemorative celebration involving screenings, workshops, and live entertainment.

12 Kimi (Sept. 25th) – a “gathering together” type of energy associated with “absolute foundations” and “equalization”; a “regrouping type of energy” that could help to lay the foundations for new ideas or ventures, now coinciding with the Chinese Moon Festival (aka the Mooncake Festival or the Mid-Autumn Festival), one of the largest festivals in mainland China and East Asia.

The evening brings the beginning of the Judeo/Christian Feast of the Tabernacles, aka Sukkot, an eight-day Jewish holiday that begins five days after Yom Kippur.

Sukkot celebrates the gathering of the harvest and commemorates the miraculous protection the creator provided for the children of Israel when they left Egypt. The celebration of Sukkot involves dwelling in a foliage-covered booth (known as a sukkah) and the use of the “Four Kinds” (arba minim), four special species of plants, in ceremonies. During the first one or two days when work is forbidden, candles are lit in the evening, and festive meals are preceded with a Kiddush blessing and include a special bread called challah, dipped in honey. But where, we still ask, is the protection and the food/harvest for the children of Palestine as the Israeli butcher continues to slaughter innocents in the Middle East?

On this day a High-level Meeting on Pandemic Prevention, Preparedness and Response will be held at the United Nations. In California and Nevada this is Native American Day.
This is also the day when Pope Leo begins a 4-day visit to France, the first official papal visit to France in 18 years.

This day is marking exactly 14 cycles since this energy brought one of the “most insane and consequential news days in US history”, just before the 2016 election. That was the day when the dumpster’s campaign almost imploded but was somehow “revived” when the hacked Clinton campaign e-mails were suddenly released by Wikileaks, setting the stage for the forthcoming “election from hell”. Amazingly this was also the energy in place when John F. Kennedy was nominated by the Democratic Party as their candidate in 1960 and it was also in place at the time of the death of Senator Ted Kennedy in 2009.

13 Manik’ (Sept. 26th) – “transformational deer” (which could translate as “transformational harmonization – but there can be a sacrificial aspect to it), currently coinciding with the Full Harvest (or Corn) Moon.

This is a very intense energy, as seen in 1883 when Krakatoa volcano erupted with such force that it blew the island apart, creating a 130 ft. tsunami and a humungus dust cloud that plunged Jakarta, 100 miles away, into complete darkness. A good day to exercise caution.

The last time this was in place Russia’s military fired its new hypersonic Oreshnik missile at a target in Ukraine during a massive overnight strike that hit the west of the country near the EU border. This time this energy coincides with the International Day for the Total Elimination of Nuclear Weapons .

This is also the first day of the two-day sixth Annual Canadian Walk for Veterans event, to provide support for veterans who suffer from PTSD.
