So here we are, back at the highly transformative trecena that fomented the “death of America”, as journalist/historian Neal Gabler put it, at the time of the 2016 U.S. presidential election. And now, after ten years of trauma – including six Trumpian years of sheer chaos and horror – millions of people in the US are heading to their voting stations to make a statement about whether they want the madness to continue – or whether they want to state emphatically that “Enough is Enough”. And it is not just US citizens who will be casting significant ballots, as presidential elections are being held in Brazil and legislative elections are being held in Israel during this 13-day period. There is also a provincial leadership election in British Columbia. As always, the Ix (Jaguar) trecena is one of those sequences within the 260 day cycle that tends to be particularly consequential when it comes to shaping or fomenting significant changes in direction in world history. Without question, this period will be intense!

Keep in mind that Ix is an energy aligned not only with the magic and mysteries of the Earth, but also with the Maya mythological idea of the “Night Sun” and “terrestrial fire”, which often brings with it a considerable amount of “fire and fury” as the Jaguar “roars” and the earth rumbles.

As this trecena returns, One Ix is marking 75 Tzolk’in cycles precisely since The Washington Post published the blockbuster story in 1973 about President Richard Nixon having prior knowledge of the Watergate conspiracy, revealing that he was deeply involved in the coverup, including having knowledge of payments used to buy the silence of the Watergate conspirators. The following year, during this same trecena, there was an attempted assassination of President Nixon, and a federal grand jury indicted seven of Nixon’s aides on charges of conspiracy related to Watergate. That was when Nixon was named as an unindicted co-conspirator, which led to his impeachment process and to his eventual resignation. As much as this Watergate scandal shocked and traumatized a nation, it now seems relatively minor when compared with Trumpian corruption and scandals, with many of those coming to light over the past few years within the context of this same time frame. The last time this was in place even the stalwart Washington Post was crumbling, under the weight of owner Jeff Bezos’s association with the Trump administration.

Generally this tends to be a volatile period, with the Jaguar metaphor and its association with power, mystery, stealth, adaptability, high magic, and even mastery over things of an unseen nature, reminding us that this is a time frame associated with fearsome authority, unpredictability, and sudden transformation. It is not unusual to see a lot of “political maneuvering”, and sometimes outright power grabs, taking place during this period, reflective of the Jaguar’s significance as a major symbol of dominance in Maya mythology. Sudden change in political power often manifests at this time, and issues associated with political leadership often dominate. From the perspective of ancient mythology, it was thought that the fate of the world ties in with the whims of the Jaguar – which certainly will apply this time through!

As seen in the past, the very first day of this trecena has often been a pivotal turning point in terms of the fate of nations, as seen during the French Revolution in the 18th century when some of the most significant events of that era took place under that “initiation of transformation” influence of One Ix. With regard to the US – in addition to 1973 events related to Nixon, this trecena has played a major role in the whole Trumpian saga going all the way back to 2016, as this was the trecena in place during the four-day lead-up to the 2016 election, the election itself, and the many days of massive anti-Trump protest demonstrations that followed.

Six cycles ago, in July of 2022, the Jan. 6th committee investigating the attack on the US Capitol was highlighting what was referred to as the dumpster’s “Nero burning Rome” moment, emphasizing various ways in which he “poured gasoline on the fire” as he ignored pleas to stop the rioting, and chose to do nothing. In this regard, evidence was brought to the committee that underscored both his dereliction of duty and “criminal intent” (through refusal to act). Vice Chair Liz Cheney commented at the time that “the dam has begun to break” as a long list of crimes (including seditious conspiracy, conspiracy to obstruct an official proceeding, and insurrection) were identified. It took one more cycle before formal actions were taken, but in the spring of 2023, two days before this trecena began, a Manhattan Grand Jury voted to indict Trump, for his role in the hush money payment scheme, the first time in American history that a current or former president had faced criminal charges. Then five days later, on the third day of this time frame, he was formally arraigned in New York, charged with 34 felony counts of “falsifying business records in the first degree”, and concealing crimes in violation of election laws. After that, tragically and shamefully, the justice system moved at a snail’s pace, getting bogged down with delays, appeals, and even supreme court scandals and its ridiculous “presidential immunity” ruling, and eventually prosecutions got dropped after the 2024 election.

The fifth day of this period (5 Etz’nab’) has often been particularly consequential, as this is a “knife edge” type of force that holds the potential to bring things to a definitive conclusion, or to foment earth-shaking transformations. Many significant events “fateful” to nations have occurred under this 5 Etz’nab’ influence, including the official surrender of Japan at the end of World War II in 1945, the massive “Mobilization Peace” demonstrations in Washington, D.C in 1969 where hundreds of thousands protested against the Vietnam War, and the “complete meltdown” that unfolded at the start of a “summer of anarchy” in 2020, as people called for justice after the death of George Floyd at the hands of a police officer. The announcement of the formation of the Jan. 6th commission to investigate the attack on the Capitol came one cycle later, in 2021. Currently this will be the day for Israel’s national elections, which will determine the fate of the war criminal Netanyahu.

The trecena as a whole has brought forth the start of the Russian Revolution in 1917, the start of the London Blitz in 1940, the massive Tibetan uprising against Chinese aggression in Llasa that began under this influence in 1959, the start of coalition air strikes against terrorist groups in Syria in 2018, major climate change rallies and conferences, and Pope Francis’s visit to Canada in the summer of 2022 in association with reconciliation for Indigenous nations. Events associated with both of the dumpster’s impeachment trials have unfolded during this same time frame, as well as the “circus” relating to his arraignments in New York in 2023, and the pre-trial hearing in 2024 relating to the Jan. 6th case.

Keep in mind that during this period the “unseen” often plays an important role, and like the jaguar that can “sneak up” and dispatch its prey with one deadly pounce, unforeseen events can sometimes sneak up and change trajectories in highly significant ways.

As we forge ahead through this period we will be working under the auspices of Quetzalcóatl, the life-force (and justice-oriented) “twin” to the Jaguar, who serves as the patron energy for these thirteen days. As seen in the past, this is an energy combination that can bring forth high drama and head-spinning change, often related to issues associated with JUSTICE, at very high levels.

During much of this trecena those kinds of issues will be “front and center” in many different arenas – including in France and several other European countries where large scale student protests will continue in efforts to foment improvement in education systems. The horrendous Russia-Ukraine war still thunders on, as it becomes increasingly clear that the dumpster has “sold out Ukraine” and is doing little to help Ukraine defend itself against Russian ballistic missile attacks. Once this is finally over, much attention will be placed on all the war crimes being committed. Similarly, the gross incompetence of the US in Middle East conflicts has prompted Iran to threaten strikes on US interests across the Gulf if the US and Israel renew attacks.

So the battle for justice continues on multiple fronts at this time, and the need for people to be “jaguar warriors” is stronger than ever. In so many places, in so many ways, “people power” is ramping up and pushing back mightily against tyranny and oppression. As people become “jaguar warriors” in these battles, there is no doubt that their fierce intent to regain and uphold human rights and basic civil liberties will give them the strength needed to achieve victory. The “faces of darkness” are no longer hidden, and even Hallowe’en masks cannot hide the underlying rot, blackness, and corruption of the oppressors.

Given all this, it is advisable to keep an eye open and be on guard for stealthy maneuvering during this period, particularly with regard to the orange felon and his cohorts. Grab hold of the beauty, strength, resourcefulness, majesty, and magic of these jaguar-related energies, as they can greatly help to dispel anxieties and fear, and hold the power to engender the high level transformations that are so greatly needed at this time. Here are the energies that will be in play:

One Ix (Oct. 23rd) – the “initiation” of the Jaguar’s power of transformation, at the start of the second trecena within this new cycle, with Brazil, Israel, and the US in the middle of election fever.

Back in the 2010, the U.N. Security Council passed a resolution under this influence, to impose sanctions on Iran in order to suspend Iran’s nuclear and ballistic missile program – which the Obama administration helped to put in place. This is light years away from what has been happening under the current administration in the US, where their shameful and inept actions with regard to carrying out a war against Iran (“by choice”), without congressional approval, has not only augmented chaos in the Middle East, but also fomented global economic instability. US citizens are now in the process of formalizing their feelings about all this, as early voting is under way.

Note that back in 1973 this was the energy in place when WAPO ran the head-spinning article about President Nixon’s alleged involvement in the coverup of the Watergate scandal, a story that shocked and traumatized a nation, eventually leading to Nixon’s resignation.

Even more significant was the fact that The New Start Agreement, the last nuclear treaty between Russia and the US, ended under this influence last February, formally releasing both Moscow and Washington from a raft of restrictions on their nuclear arsenals and triggering fears of a global arms race. That was the day when it was revealed that Trump was referred to in more than 5,300 Epstein files. He and Melania and his Mar-a-Lago club are referred to some 38,000 times – and yet the coverup has continued.

Currently this is marking eight cycles precisely since the Fulton County DA in Georgia opened a criminal inquiry into the dumpster’s call to try to overturn the results of the 2020 election, on the same day as prosecutors in the orange felon’s second impeachment trial were presenting evidence that Trump knowingly incited the Jan. 6th riot, as part of a long history of inciting violence, and that he also did nothing to stop it.

Past events reveal that this is a trecena that often tends to shed considerable light on political power struggles, and power pushes, and indeed, the horrific Orange Grifter saga really began to be felt in earnest 14 cycles ago when this One Ix energy was in place just prior to the disastrous 2016 election. At that time many thought that his presidential candidacy was a joke, and yet, five days into the trecena, he won (or stole – let’s not forget the Russian interference part) the election.

Nevertheless, six cycles ago (in 2022) the Jan. 6th committee was in full gear and testimonies were revealing the various crimes associated with the insurrection attempt. Five cycles ago the New York justice system was closing in, in two directions, with the dumpster having just been indicted for hush money payments, when he was about to be charged with 34 felony counts for falsifying business records. Three cycles ago this trecena opened just two days before the pre-trial hearing in the federal election interference case. And two cycles ago, after unfathomably returning to power, he was pushing a highly controversial tax bill that included enormous cuts to Medicare, Medicaid, and Obamacare, that would negatively affect millions of lower-income Americans.

2 Men (Oct. 24th) the “generation” of the Eagle’s “higher vision”, on the 81st Gregorian anniversary of the United Nations’ Charter going into effect in 1945.

This is World Development Information Day, oriented around the idea that improving the dissemination of information and the mobilization of public opinion, particularly among young people, would lead to greater awareness of world problems and help to promote international cooperation in the search for solutions. As AI now seems to be creeping into everything (but not on THIS site!), the emphasis now is on the development of skills to help people acquire the ability to separate fact from falsehood and fantasy, in an age when the rampant, wilful, and destructive proliferation of disinformation has caused such enormous problems in the world at large.

It has now been eight cycles exactly since the day in 2021 when more than 550 congressional staffers called on the Senate to convict the dumpster, in a statement that emphasized that they had all seen firsthand “the violence that was incited on [their] workplace.” This same energy was in place in 2022 when court filings revealed efforts that had been made by his cronies to keep secret more than 700 pages of handwritten notes, draft documents and daily logs related to the loss of the 2020 election, and to the events of January 6, 2021. And indeed, three cycles ago, the orange felon actually admitted, during a podcast interview, that he LOST the 2020 election – and yet he still kept trying to change the narrative and the historical record.

3 Kib’ (Oct. 25th) – an activation energy often associated with the “restoration of order”, coinciding with Brazil’s runoff presidential election, at the time of the Full Moon. This will be a tight one, but even Swifties are putting their support behind the re-election of Lula. Fingers crossed!   As this is also the 22nd anniversary of International Artist Day, Brazil’s support for the arts and culture could be a deciding factor in this race.

It has now been five cycles since Trump was formally arraigned in New York, charged with 34 felony counts of “falsifying business records in the first degree”, and concealing crimes in violation of election laws. That was the day when Finland formally joined NATO.

This marks 10 cycles exactly since the fall of 2019 when the House Judiciary Committee in the US held its first hearing on whether to recommend a formal impeachment inquiry with regard to the dumpster’s abuse of power and obstruction of Congress with regard to the Ukraine scandal, and eight cycles since his shameful acquittal by Republicans (on a technicality) during the unprecedented second impeachment trial in Feb. of 2021 – even though Senator McConnell said that he believed that the dumpster was practically and morally responsible for inciting the horrific attack on the US Capitol, calling his actions “a disgraceful dereliction of duty”. It was another point at which the dumpster COULD have been stopped, but wasn’t. The blame can be placed squarely on Republicans.

In Mexico City this is the day for the Parade of the Catrinas where people mock the superficiality of society’s upper classes by wearing elaborate attire and skeletal face paint. It is also the first day of the 2-day Pan de Muerto and Chocolate Festival in Coyoacán, Mexico, all part of Mexico’s Day of the Dead festival season.

In 1969 this was the energy in place at the time of the “March Against Death” demonstrations in Washington D.C., when more than 46,000 people, each carrying a placard with the name of an American soldier killed in the Vietnam war, walked in single file past the White House and deposited the placards in coffins, in a demonstration that took two days to complete, prior to a larger rally immediately thereafter to protest against the continuing war. It’s time for a similar type of demonstration, to highlight the number of people who have died as a result of the Trump administration’s cruelty.

4 Kab’an (Oct. 26th) – a “defining” energy associated with evolutionary movement – the powerful energy carved into the centre of the Aztec Sun Stone, an energy that often brings forth highly dramatic – but often exciting events. Indeed, last February this was in place at the time of the Superbowl, when Puerto Rican singer and rapper Bad Bunny ignited Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif., during the Superbowl half-time show, watched by over 128 million people, with a highly PRO-DIVERSITY, pro-hispanic, pro-Puerto Rico performance that represented the very antithesis of MAGA and ICE. The overarching message was that, with all this diversity, ‘Together, We Are America’.”

In 1940 this was the energy in place on the night of “Black Saturday” (and into the early morning of the following day) when 348 German bombers dropped 337 tons of bombs on London, in the first mass air raid night of the “The Blitz”, when 430 civilians were killed and hundreds badly injured. This was followed by 57 consecutive nights of further bombing and several more months of attacks (overall a blistering 8 month long German bombing campaign). After that ghastly war who would have believed that this could happen again . . . but the Russia-Ukraine war rages on, and American citizens are now seeing that the current administration has often been working in support of . . . . RUSSIA . . . . in this regard. Again –ghastly and shameful!!

This is the opening day for Mexico City’s first Xoloitzcuintle Dog Festival, which will span much of this trecena. This will be in honour of the role of the dog in ancient traditions, as dogs were seen as guides and protectors on the journey towards Mictlán, the land of the dead.

5 Etz’nab’ (Oct. 27th) – a “pinpointing”, knife-edged type of force symbolized by “flint”. This dazzling, often highly attention-getting, energy has a tendency to bring forth highly consequential events that can bring things to a definitive conclusion, as it did in 1945 with the official surrender of Japan at the end of World War II, and as it did in 2003 when President George W. Bush declared “Mission Accomplished” after the Iraq war.

Definitive (and often shocking) change often takes place under this influence, as seen in the events that unfolded 14 cycles ago, in 2016, when this “shock and awe” force fomented the “death of America” as journalist/historian Neal Gabler put it, at the time of the disastrous 2016 U.S. presidential election, often referred to as “the groan heard ‘round the world”, when the US died “at its own hand via electoral suicide”. And that was THEN, well before the Covid fiasco; well before the Jan. 6th, 2021 coup attempt or the dumpster’s attempted theft and concealment of hundreds of federal classified documents; well before all the indictments and his conviction on 34 counts of felony in 2024; well before he (GASP) was “reelected”, under a cloud of suspicion about possible Russian interference in the election; well before the ICE crisis that involves disguised and heavily armed federal thugs snatching people (including children) off streets and throwing them into horrific detention camps, where many have died; and well before the despicable orange felon began his “war on a whim” against Iran.

Precisely four cycles after that 2016 election, in September of 2019, Guardian columnist Robert Reich published an article titled Trump is seriously, frighteningly, dangerously nuts – and the world is in danger – an observation that has steadily become vividly and painfully clear both locally and internationally. One cycle after that, five cycles (1300 days) after that election, this 5 Etz’nab’ energy marked the start of “a summer of anarchy”. The US was in complete meltdown with huge protests (and riots and looting in some areas), and a state of crisis from coast to coast. That was in 2020, 9 cycles ago! And now, as if to catch and encapsulate the echo of those earlier events, this current 5 Etz’nab’ day is providing an opportunity, just one week before the midterm elections, to review the extent of the corruption at the highest level in the US, in the form of a documentary titled Corruptionland, which will reveal “the full extent of the rot in Trump’s Washington – and how it can be reversed”.

Currently this is the day when Israel will hold national elections, giving its citizens their first chance to pass judgment on Benjamin Netanyahu’s actions since the Hamas-led attacks of October 7th, 2023. At this time 77-year old Netanyahu will be fighting for his personal freedom as well as his political future, as he is still on trial for corruption, despite the dumpster’s call for a pre-emptive pardon in the long-running case. In addition, the International Criminal Court has charged him with war crimes relating to his attacks on civilian populations in Gaza. Let’s pray that this will bring the collapse of Netanyahu – and the start of a voter-generated domino reaction that continues into Nov. 3rd and beyond in the US, with the undoing of support for the insipid sycophantic Republicans who enabled the calamities of the past 10 years!

Note that this energy was also in place at the time of an attempted assassination of President Nixon in 1974.

6 Kawak (Oct. 28th) – a “storm everywhere” type of force, which often has more to do with the triggering of a “storm of compassion or emotion” than a weather related event, as seen in early June of 2020 at the time of that “flashpoint” day of outrage when military police used teargas, rubber bullets, and flash grenades to clear a path through peaceful Black Lives Matter protesters so that the dumpster could stage a particularly revulsive photo op in front of St. John’s Lafayette church in Washington DC. That was seen as a major “breaking point” in terms of democracy in the U.S., basically foreshadowing the Jan. 6th insurrection and everything that has followed. That was 9 cycles ago.

One cycle after that, in February of 2021, Rep. Bennie Thompson, the chair of the House Homeland Security Committee who became the chair of the Jan. 6th committee, became the first member of Congress to file a lawsuit against him for inciting the deadly insurrection.

Six cycles ago (in 2022) the Jan. 6th committee held its 8th public hearing, which focused specifically on that 187 minutes on Jan. 6th when the dumpster did nothing to stop the mob that was storming the U.S. Capitol, highlighting his culpability and direct involvement in formenting the events of that grotesque and horrifying day. Senator Jamie Raskin, a member of the Jan. 6th committee, referred to this as “a profound moment of reckoning”, as they highlighted the various crimes that revealed both dereliction of duty and “criminal intent”. The various crimes that were identified included attempted obstruction of an official proceeding (the certification of an election), conspiracy to defraud the U.S., seditious conspiracy, conspiracy to obstruct an official proceeding, and insurrection. Those are the crimes that the Orange Felon and his cohorts kept attempting to brush aside during prosecution efforts that were underway prior to the 2024 election. But those crimes are still on record, and the time of reckoning is fast approaching!

7 Ajaw (Oct. 29th) – “self generating” full sun, a force traditionally associated with “full sun” and the general idea of kingship (could also translate as “self-generating kingship”), now coinciding with the Heliacal rising of Venus. This is World Stroke Day, with the theme this year being “Every Minute Counts”, highlighting the importance of recognizing symptoms early and responding quickly – which is a theme that should have been applied to the situation that fomented the hellish state of affairs a few years ago. May this “enlightenment” related energy on THIS day wake up anyone who still sleepwalking and get them to the polls to cast their vote against the villainous “pretend king” who has run rough-shod over too many people for far too long!

Note that Seven Ajaw was traditionally a great Aztec feast day devoted to Xochipilli, the “Flower Prince”, the god of flowers, games, music, and dance. With the sun frequently symbolized as a four-petalled flower there is a strong solar aspect to this in conjunction with fertility and maize. In Maya mythology this energy is associated with a special purification/soul retrieval type of ceremony associated with the resurrection of the Maize God (representing fertility).

8 Imix (Oct. 30th) – the “resurrection” of birth, as was in place in 1776 on that December day when Thomas Paine published the first of his “The American Crisis” pamphlets, with the opening lines being:

These are the times that try men’s souls: The summer soldier and the sunshine patriot will, in this crisis, shrink from the service of his country but he that stands it now deserves the love and thanks of man and woman.

And all those who are voting for freedom and liberation from tyranny during these days will deserve the thanks of the world. Another line from Paine reads:

Tyranny, like hell, is not easily conquered; yet we have this consolation with us, that the harder the conflict, the more glorious the triumph.

It has been exactly seven cycles since House Democrats passed a $1tn bill in 2021 to help rebuild the ageing infrastructure in the U.S., after months of delay, delivering President Joe Biden a long-awaited legislative victory.

Two cycles ago the International Court of Trade ruled unanimously that the dumpster’s tariffs are illegal and unconstitutional – and that everyone could get a refund for everything that happened since the whole tariff fiasco began. Since then multiple states have sued against the tariffs, and there has been a significant decline in US trade with other countries. The Supreme Court also struck down one type of legal authority but the dumpster’s administration somehow found ways to bypass that ruling.

This is the 12th anniversary of the day in 2014 when Sweden became the first EU member in western Europe to officially recognize the state of Palestine and confirm the Palestinians’ right to self-determination. By September 2025, 15 out of 27 EU members had recognized the state of Palestine, and 157 of the 193 member states of the United Nations had officially recognized Palestine as a sovereign state.

9 Ik’ (Oct. 31st) – the “outward projection” of wind, breath, spirit – significantly, the calendrical daysign of Ehécatl/Quetzalcóatl, the “feathered serpent” deity traditionally seen in Mesoamerican cultures as being symbolic of spirit, breath, culture, the arts, justice, and things of a life-giving nature. This marks six cycles exactly since Pope Francis began his five day visit to Canada, in 2022, “on a pilgrimage of healing and reconciliation.”

Nine Ik’ (aka Nine Wind) is a very important energy both mythologically and historically. Symbolic of far-reaching communication, 9 Ik’ is also representative of the winds that can “blow” in multiple directions to bring about change. Tornadoes have often manifested under this influence, as have major protest rallies.

In 1961 this was the energy in place when U.S. astronaut Alan B. Shepard Jr. was carried into suborbital flight aboard Mercury Freedom 7, becoming the first U.S. astronaut to travel into space (in a 15 min. flight). When this energy was in place in 1996 Shannon Lucid became the first female astronaut to crew a space station.

Currently this is both Hallowe’en and Samhain, associated with the ancient Celtic festival that marked the end of harvest and the beginning of winter and “the dark half of the year”. The UK has recently revived the medieval tradition of giving out “soul cakes” to commemorate the departed at this time. It is also the day of the Grand Day of the Dead parade in Mexico City.

In addition, this is UNICEF Day and the 86th Gregorian anniversary of the end of the Battle of Britain in 1940, as well as the UN’s 13th global celebration of World Cities Day, being hosted this year by Fuzhou, China, with the theme being “Regenerating the City: Adequate Housing for All”.

10 Ak’b’al (Nov. 1st) – a combination of the foundational energy of “Source” (the number 10) in conjunction with “darkness”, as in a “temple” associated with deep esoteric mysteries. This was in place six cycles ago (in 2022) when Pope Francis visited Maskwacis, site of the former Ermineskin Residential School, one of the largest residential schools in Canada, where he met with indigenous residential school survivors from across the country and issued an apology for the abuses that they suffered when attending those institutions.

All Saints’ Day is also celebrated at this time, as well as Dia de los Angelitos (Day of the Little Angels) – the part of Mexico’s Day of the Dead festival that focuses on remembrances for the young who have died. Marigolds are prominent at this time in Mexico.

This is the 32nd anniversary of World Vegan Day, in celebration of the benefits of veganism for animals, humans, and the natural environment. It is also marking the first anniversary of the Grand opening ceremony of the billion dollar Grand Egyptian Museum, the largest archaeological museum in the world. In addition this is the opening day for the Commonwealth Heads of Government Summit in Antigua and Barbuda in the capital city of St. John’s. (Nov. 1-4), which King Charles will attend.

This is the start of Black Consciousness month in Brazil and National Native-American heritage month in the US. It is also the 36th anniversary of Métis Settlements Proclamation Day, in celebration of the 1990 proclamation by the Alberta government to provide a unique form of government for Métis settlements, to help them gain local autonomy and achieve self-sufficiency.

In parts of North America this is the end of Daylight Saving Time, but some Canadian provinces will not be turning back their clocks.

11 K’an (Nov. 2nd) – an “inspirational” type of energy associated with youthful vitality, coinciding with Dia de los Muertos – the Day of the Dead – in Mexico and in many other areas, particularly throughout Latin American communities.

Given the understanding that there is much beyond the end of life on this plane, keep in mind that Mexico’s Day of the Day is all about “laughing” at death. Further, this is All Soul’s Day, the third component of the Christian observances of Allhollowtide (the “time to remember the dead”), that includes All Saints’ Eve (Hallowe’en), All Saints’ Day and All Soul’s Day. Feliz Día de los Muertos!

In 2020 this was in place when Joe Biden became the Democratic presidential nominee before going on to win the 2020 election.

12 Chikchan (Nov. 3rd) – “dedicated” lifeforce – a powerful force that represents a doubling of the intensity of the lifeforce-oriented Quetzalcóatl energy – a type of influence that can significantly draw people into action for a common cause, particularly around issues relating to justice – now coinciding with Mid-term Election day in the U.S., when all 435 seats in the US House of Representatives and 35 seats in the Senate will be decided, including two special Senate elections to fill vacancies. This is Day 249 of the Iran war.

This marks eight cycles since the Supreme Court rejected the dumpster’s bid to shield his financial records and tax returns, so that the New York state District Attorney and the NY Grand Jury could have access to them for their investigations into possible financial and corporate misconduct. Precisely three cycles later the orange felon has to sit for a 7 hr. deposition in New York AG Letitia James’ office, related to her multi million dollar case against him for business fraud, in a case that she ultimately won. Along these same lines, it was four cycles ago (just under three years ago) when Mary Trump posted her article titled Cheating as Way of Life, What Donald Keeps Getting Away With, in which she described her uncle as a “deeply unwell traitor.”

In 1974 this was the energy in place when a federal grand jury indicted seven of President Nixon’s aides on charges of conspiracy related to Watergate, when Nixon was named as an unindicted co-conspirator, which led to his impeachment process.

Currently this is Culture Day (Bunka no Hi) in Japan, a day to celebrate culture and the arts through exhibitions, parades, and festivals – a day that has been celebrated as a national holiday in Japan since 1948. It is also the start of the 5-day International Indigenous Nurses & Healers Konferens (INIHKD) in the Cook Islands, with the theme “Reclaiming Indigenous Ecologies of Love for Future Generations”.

13 Kimi (Nov. 4th) – “transformational death” (or “transformational foundations”) – a powerful, and sometimes even “explosive”, “return to Source” type of force that can often pack a huge punch, as seen in the intense weather systems and even volcanoes that have occurred in the past under this influence. Way back in 1521 this was the energy in place at the start of the Battle of Tenochtitlán, the extended battle between the Aztec and Hernán Cortés, with his coalition of Spaniards and thousands of Indigenous allies, that was central to the Spanish conquest of the Aztec empire.

It was a 13 Kimi day in early January of 2019, when The New York Times ran a scathing article by Pulitzer prize winning columnist David Leonhardt that was titled “The People vs. D. J. Trump”, subtitled “He is demonstrably unfit for office. What are we waiting for?”, which highlighted the pressing need to remove the dumpster from office (that was during his first term). Whole categories of issues were identified as reasons for why he should be removed. At that time the writer thought that waiting it out until 2020 would be way too dangerous. He couldn’t have been more prophetic. Now, eleven grueling cycles later, as the results of the midterm elections are being announced, the world could finally have a sense of how that removal will be accomplished.

Currently this is the day when results of the US midterm elections will be coming forth, which will likely be world-shifting for many people. A definitive “blue wave” would certainly begin the process of flushing out the rot in Washington DC.

In Italy a number of commemorative events are being held at this time to mark the 60th anniversary of the catastrophic Arno River flood that devastated businesses and neighbourhoods in Florence in 1966, and threatened priceless books and art works. An extraordinary amount of effort (with international support) has been put into restoring these treasures over the years, and this effort will be celebrated at this time, and into the following week – to November 7th. This is an anniversary to remember “one of the darkest moments in Florence’s history” and the extraordinary response that involved so many people working together to help the city recover. There is a great lesson in this that could be applied elsewhere. Are you paying attention, citizens of the US?
