Maya Count Of Days Horoscope

Maya Calendar Energies At Work In The World

The Maya date was 4 Ajaw 3 K’ank’in, equivalent to Dec. 21, 2012 – not the “end” of the calendar, but the completion of the 13th Bak’tun, a key date that marked the beginning of a new Great Cycle of Time. As always, the energies encoded in the calendar continue on. As described in Manual for the Soul, A Guide to the Energies of Life, the 260 day cycle that forms the foundation for the Maya Calendar is comprised of 20 trecenas (weeks), each containing 13 days, each of which represents a unique energy with a very special meaning. These energies as they manifest, at work and at play, are the focus of this blog.

This trecena begins with an astrological event that seems to be echoing events on this planet. This is the third Jupiter-Pluto conjunction in 2020, the final such conjunction until 2033. In Western astrology this would be seen as a juxtaposition between the highly expansive energies associated with Jupiter, the great benefic, and the darker, destructive-but-regenerative forces attributed to Pluto. What are some of the key events that link this trecena specifically to the fate of the United States? And how do Richard Nixon and John F. Kennedy factor into these events? The answer is that pivotal events associated with both of these US presidents, as well as “almost” president Hillary Clinton, have all taken place within this fire oriented, Read the full article…

Remember back to early February of this year, when Republicans in the US Senate voted to acquit the havoc-creating pretender-in-chief who has been occupying the highest office in the land, whose actions on both national and international levels had clearly risen to the level of “high crimes and misdemeanors”? Do you remember how close that was to the warnings being Read the full article…

This year began with an opportunity – an opportunity to derail someone who managed to tumble into a position of great power (even though grossly unqualified for the job) through the use of reality show hucksterism, the promulgation of porkies the size of mountains, and significant election interference by a foreign superpower. There were many other factors, of course, that Read the full article…

It was a sure bet that, with the tripling of all those numerical powers over the last 13 days in the context of a trecena that is often highly dramatic, the last trecena would be intense. What happened is that “intense” mushroomed into “explosive”, as the wildfires in the west raged across 12 states and sent smoke across the country, Read the full article…

Expect the unexpected – that is often the thought when this trecena comes into view. And this time, there is even more reason for that alert. If you happen to live in or near Denver this will be right on schedule as forecasters are saying that Colorado can expect “three seasons in three days” just as this trecena is coming Read the full article…

Hurricane Laura approaching the Gulf coast, Typhoon Bavi barrelling down on Korea, horrific wildfires scorching California, the Gong Show in Washington (which some refer to as the Republican National Convention), the Black Lives Matter protests that continue on in many cities, and the March on Washington, aka the “Get Your Knee Off Our Necks” Commitment March – all this, along Read the full article…

Given the varying kinds of storms that have spanned the entire 13 days of the last trecena, from the lightning storm at the very beginning on the coast of B.C., to Hurricane Isaias on the Atlantic coast, to the monsoons in Kerala, to the severe thunderstorms in Scotland at the end of the trecena, the question of whether or not Read the full article…

Hurricane Katrina and the inundation of New Orleans in 2005, the monsoon rains that sparked flash flooding and landslides in New South Wales and Queensland in 2012 at the same time as “buckets of rain” and powerful winds were spawning tornadoes across Texas, the storms of “biblical proportion” that swept through Europe last November – these and many more such Read the full article…

High in the sky at this time, not far from the Big Dipper, a comet is streaking across the sky. And at the same time, just as this trecena was coming in, this planet lost a great soul, with the passing of long-serving U.S. Congressman, civil right activist, and “the Conscience of the United States Congress”, John Lewis. Much will Read the full article…
