Maya Count Of Days Horoscope

Maya Calendar Energies At Work In The World

Way back in early May of 1945, the world was feeling jubilant. Wars were coming to an end, armistices were being signed, and people were able to breathe again after so many years of extreme turbulence. And as this current trecena begins, many people will be remembering – and commemorating – all that, and wondering how long they will have to wait before any sense of “global peace” returns.

And while it does not seem like that will happen any time soon, this Chikchan trecena is often a period of change – often significant change, beginning with the energy of One Chikchan, seen traditionally as an important shift-point within the overall 260-day cycle. This is an “initiating” energy associated with the great Feathered Serpent, aligned with Liberation, Awakening, Cyclical Renewal (like a phoenix), and Justice, marking the start of the third 52-day period within that cycle. One Chikchan often brings that sense of a turning of the tide, along with a sense of new possibilities. Sometimes it can feel like an emergence; sometimes it can feel like an energy surge; sometimes it can feel like a celebration; and sometimes it can even spin into intense weather events or into some other consequential change in direction. When this was in place last August, for instance, there was a discernible shift in the battle against wildfires that had been raging in many areas, with some even seeing it as a shift “from crisis to comeback”.

Often the energies at the start of this period can be felt as an infusion of vitality, possibly a renewal of determination to pursue particular goals. As this is a time frame that can push people into action in significant ways, great passion, and even bravery, often comes into play at this time, particularly if people are in pursuit of justice. During this trecena last summer, for example, Illinois Governor JB Pritzker pushed back on a threat by Trump to deploy federal troops in Chicago to fight crime, calling it “unconstitutional and unamerican,” designed more for theater than public safety. His landmark speech was seen as “issuing an alarm” against authoritarianism – pointing out how incredibly wrong it was to ask National Guards “to serve the petty whims of an arrogant little man”. As he addressed that “arrogant little man” and his “complicit officials . . . public servants who have forsaken their oath to the Constitution”, Pritzer said: “we are watching and we are taking names. . . . . . You can delay justice for a time, but history shows you cannot prevent it from finding you eventually. If you hurt my people, nothing will stop me, not time or political circumstance, from making sure that you face justice under our constitutional rule of law.”

Shortly thereafter there was a complete meltdown at the CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) as several top officials resigned and others pointed out that the RFK Jr.’s so-called leadership was “a national security risk to Americans”. By that time thousands of federal health workers, including safety inspectors who oversaw consumer goods and health care had been lost. Whistleblowers in several other governmental departments were also drawing attention to ways in which systems were imploding.

With regard to the trecena energies, the Aztec saw the principal “patron” of this time frame as a deity known as Xiuhtecuhtli, the Lord of Fire and Time, who often “kicks things up a notch” in order to foment change. His companion in this effort is a deity representative of Venus as the Morning Star, who serves as a herald – signalling that this is a time to really “pay attention”.

Adaptation of the Chikchan trecena from the Codex Borgia by artist Richard Balthazar (used with permission). The first day (Serpent) is found at the lower right and the 13 days of this trecena proceed from there to the left, and then up to the upper right, to the interlocking image of Kab’an. The daysign numbers in this image are not shown, but implied. The main image depicts Xiuhtecuhtli, the Lord of Fire and Time, on the right, who is the principal patron. On the left is Tlahuizcalpantecuhtli, representative of Venus as the Morning Star, who serves as a herald. Click here for an overview of Richard’s various other versions of the same trecena.

In early December of 2019 this was the trecena in place when “a new viral outbreak” (later called Covid-19) was first detected in China. At first this outbreak was downplayed, but near the end of the trecena it was learned that a “cluster” of patients with “pneumonia of an unknown cause” had been identified, and then a huge planetary change took place – at lightning speed!

Two cycles later, towards the end of the third Covid wave, things began changing in the opposite direction, as mask mandates began to be lifted in some areas, theatres began reopening, case numbers were trending downwards, and people began to slowly emerge, feeling a new sense of freedom as they began to interact and reconstruct their lives post-pandemic.

Historically, the beginning of this trecena had brought many radical changes, as seen in 1914 when Germany declared war against France, and in 1918 when the German Weimar Republic was founded just as World War I was coming to an end. In 1990 Germany became unified at the start of this trecena. In 1521 this had been in place when the Aztecs surrendered to the Spaniards, sealing the fate and future direction of Mexico.

When in place two cycles ago (December of 2024) this trecena brought a very rapid ousting of the Assad regime in Syria, as rebels reclaimed city after city, releasing long-held prisoners as they swept through the country. At that time Ukraine was expressing gratitude for German chancellor Olaf Scholz’s visit to Kyiv, and for his announcement of €650m in military aid for Ukraine, speedy arms deliveries, and his pledge to “remain the strongest supporter of Ukraine in Europe”. It was a sign that EU leaders were pulling together and reviewing their options, in terms of how to protect Ukraine and the EU as a whole.

Keep in mind that Justice is one of the major themes that tend to play out during this period. Indeed, many significant developments related to this theme have played out over the past few years, as seen five cycles ago when the January 6th committee in the U.S. was uncovering considerable evidence regarding the plotting that went into the fomenting of the Capitol riot. At that time this trecena brought the beginning of the New York trial relating to the Trump Organization’s felony tax evasions – the first major trial – which resulted in that company being ordered to pay a $1.6 million fine and prison time for its ex-CFO Allen Weisselberg. Three cycles before that the dumpster was impeached for abuse of power and obstruction of Congress, two of the most serious abuses of power ever alleged against a sitting president. Note, as well, that the impeachment action took place two cycles after that infamous meeting between the dumpster and President Putin in Helsinki in 2018 when Putin blatantly admitted to directing his officials to help Trump win the 2016 election. And still that same Putin-Trump two-step continues playing out!

It was this trecena that was in place in December of 2024 when Netanyahu began testifying in his long-running corruption trial, becoming the first sitting Israeli leader to take the stand as a criminal defendant. Last year (end of June) the dumpster again attempted to interfere with Israel’s justice system, pushing to get those charges dropped by suggesting that the trial could interfere with Netanyahu’s ability to deal with negotiations related to the Israel-Gaza war and Palestinian militant groups. But shortly thereafter, during this Chikchan trecena, Pope Leo XIV demanded that Israel stop its “collective punishment” of Gaza. “I beg for a permanent ceasefire to be reached, the safe entry of  humanitarian aid to be facilitated and humanitarian law to be fully respected,” Leo said. He referred to international law and its “prohibition of collective punishment, indiscriminate use of force and the forced displacement of the population”. By that time the war in Gaza had killed nearly 63,000 Palestinians in over 22 months.

As can be seen with these kinds of pushbacks, this trecena often carries a great deal of weight with regard to the demand for accountability, so it is highly likely that much more of this kind of action will be forthcoming during this current period.

While it is more than astonishing that even though the Trumpian “wizard of oz” has been exposed, again and again, as a gross fraudster, convicted criminal, and flagrant insurrectionist, his “teflon” nature continued to protect him from being held accountable for some of his most horrendous actions. Unfathomably, it held all through the process of selecting and confirming some of the most blatantly unfit and incompetent candidates for cabinet positions ever seen in America politics.

But with the outrageous corruption being seen on so many levels by this point, along with the exposure of the gross incompetencies of so many within his cabinet, the downward spiral has definitely begun, as polling has been confirming. As pushbacks (both individual and collective) get stronger and stronger this trecena will continue to be a pivotal period once again within the overall drive towards truth, accountability, and justice.

Keep in mind that this is the energy field of the Plumed Serpent, a metaphor for “reaching for the sky”, towards Life and Light and Liberation, and into the realm of new possibilities.

With the “Lord of Fire and Time” as the patron energy, this provides a reminder that great shifts can happen during this period. And indeed, this is the trecena that includes the energy of 9 B’en which was in place at the time of the US Declaration of Independence in 1776. With the 250th anniversary of that declaration coming up soon, it would be good to see some sense of positive shifting during this period that could give people a greater sense of hope for the future. Fingers crossed! Here are the energies that are coming into play:

1 Chikchan (May 7th) – the “initiation” of Lifeforce/Higher Wisdom at the start of the third 52-day period within the 260-day cycle, an intense and highly influential position within the cycle as a whole. Oriented around justice, freedom, higher knowledge, world-shifting actions, and cyclical renewal, this energy can often signal the beginning of a major change in direction. Two cycles ago in the US this marked the start of a four-trecena “testing period” during which Congress had to decide on whether to confirm or deny the dumpster’s highly problematic choices for key positions in his forthcoming cabinet. If this was a game of snakes and ladders, this marked the start of a steep downward slide.

Snake and Ladders game. India, 19th century.

Currently this is marking the 26th anniversary of the formal inauguration of Putin as president of Russia (he had become acting president after Yeltsin resigned at the end of 1999). It is also marking the 81st Gregorian anniversary of the final signing of the unconditional documents of surrender of the German forces to the Allies in Reims, ending World War II in 1945.

As it happened, One Chikchan was the energy in place in 1914 at the time of Germany’s declaration of war against France. Then, in 1918, six cycles later, it came in on the eve of the armistice ceasefire at the conclusion of World War I. In 1960 this was in force at the time of John F. Kennedy’s victory speech, after he narrowly won the US presidential election the day before.

During the summer of 1521 this energy had triggered a dramatic change in direction as this was in place at the time of the Fall of Tenochtitlán, the Aztec capital now known as Mexico City, when the Aztecs surrendered to Hernán Cortés and his hundreds of Spaniards, after a 2 1/2 month battle during which the conquistadoes were aided by thousands of Indigenous allies, who were enemies of the Aztec. That surrender, which took place just two years after the Spaniards’ arrival in the Yucatan, sealed the fate and future direction of Mexico.

Nine cycles ago (in December 2019) this energy was in place when Democrats unveiled two articles of impeachment against the dumpster – for abuse of power (by putting his own personal interests above the interests and security of the US) and for obstruction of Congress, the most serious abuses of power ever alleged against a sitting president. Between his first and second (gasp!) presidential terms, 91 felony charges (both state and federal) were brought against him, including many relating to fraud, obstruction of justice, and for violations of the Espionage Act. He was also found guilty of massive fraud, sexual abuse, and defamation, and ordered to pay more than $500 million. And now his monumental bungling had brought the US into a war “of choice” with Iran, creating a situation that is causing severe supply chain disruptions and global economic damage. The Epstein case continues to haunt him like a plague, and questions relating to ethics, morality, justice and accountability, Sanity, and even war profiteering, continue to loom large.

Compare all that with South Korea . . . When this energy was in place two cycles ago South Korea’s president, Yoon Suk Yeol, faced calls to quit immediately or face impeachment after his short-lived attempt to bring in martial law triggered protests and political condemnation. Note that earlier this year he was sentenced to life imprisonment with labour after being found guilty of leading an insurrection and making him the first elected head of state in that country’s democratic era to receive the maximum custodial sentence.

On this day, which marks one year since the conclave process began at the Vatican to elect Pope Leo, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio is scheduled to meet with the pontiff at the Vatican. Considering that Trump has recently launched personal attacks on the pope, including (laughably) accusing him of “endangering Catholics”, Rubio will find himself in an uneasy position as he tries to find some middle ground between the peace-avowing head of a religious organization that includes some 1.4 billion people, and the inept, morally bankrupt, war-mongering grifter who is intent on ruining as many lives as possible. And so the game of snakes and ladders continues.

This is also World Password Day – a good time to review your passwords, and to strengthen them if required.

2 Kimi (May 8th) – a dynamic type of energy aligned with the “return to source”, coinciding with the first anniversary of the election of Pope Leo, and with the 81st Gregorian anniversary of VE Day, when joyous celebrations marked the end of World War II, including the end of the Battle of the Atlantic, Canada’s longest military engagement.

On this first day of a 2-day ceasefire between Russia and Ukraine to commemorate the defeat of Nazi Germany in 1945, Ukraine will observe a Day of Remembrance and Victory over Nazism in World World II, and Germany will commemorate this 81st anniversary with a ceremony in the Bundestag lower house to mark the allies’ defeat of Nazi Germany. As this is a national public holiday in France, President Macron will likely rekindle the eternal flame at the tomb of the Unknown Soldier in a solemn ceremony at the Arc de Triomphe, and a military parade will mark the occasion.

This energy often manifests as a push-pull type of force that can shake things up and set new foundations for action, as it did in 1914 when Germany invaded Belgium and the UK declared war on Germany. But keep in mind that on Nov. 11, 1918, this was also in place as World War I came to an end. The question at this point is – where is the US in all of this?

Sir David Attenborough’s 100th birthday is on May 8th

This is biologist and nature historian Sir David Attenborough’s 100th birthday. Sir David has spent eight decades exploring the natural world and presenting works (such as award-winning documentaries) in support of the natural world and environmental causes. No doubt many will be watching his Life on Earth documentaries at this time.

3 Manik’ (May 9th) – the “activation” of reciprocity, symbolized by a deer that “embodies” the sun on Earth, a kind of harmonizing, “hands-on” type of energy connected with the natural world,
currently marking World Fair Trade Day.

At this time this energy is coinciding with Europe Day, the 76th Gregorian anniversary of the day in 1950 when French foreign minister Robert Schuman presented his proposal for the creation of an organized Europe. This was known as the “Schuman Declaration”, the precursor to the European Union.

Europe Day on May 9th

On this day celebrations will take place in many locations as the Council of the European Union holds special events to highlight their work and showcase cultural traditions. This year, Europe Day is particularly significant as this marks 40 years since Portugal and Spain joined the EU, and this is also the 40th anniversary of the first official Europe Day celebrations and public use of the EU flag and anthem.

In Russia this is when “Victory Day” parades commemorating the surrender of Nazi Germany after World War II take place in Moscow and many other parts of Russia, where Russia showcases its military forces. Last year China’s President Xi and several other foreign leaders attended the parade in Moscow. It was the largest delegation of foreign leaders in attendance since Russia’s attack on Ukraine in 2022.

This marks one cycle exactly since the infamous Epstein files began to be released to the House Oversight Committee in the US. (and, even then, at least half of them were withheld). This is also marking eight cycles since that huge “Get Your Knee Off Our Necks” Commitment March (in August 2020) that called for police reform, criminal justice reform, and racial equality in the U.S..  In 1913 a massive Woman’s Suffrage parade was held under this same 3 Manik’ influence, and yet the Trump administration has been working hard to take away women’s rights and freedoms, with “his” Supreme Court even voting to gut the Voting Rights Act in order to suppress Black votes.

But one cycle ago it was becoming clear that Pope Leo was becoming a strong voice in support of peace and human rights. At that time, Pope Leo was inviting the world to join in a call for a “disarmed and disarming” peace in all places torn by armed conflict.

4 Lamat (May 10th) – a “defining” energy associated with Venus, with 4 Lamat representing the sun and Venus working together, often serving as a beacon or herald. This energy is coinciding at this time with International Mother’s Day, and the final day of Mental Health Awareness Week in Canada.

Note that 4 Lamat is a “heralding” type of energy, so often there is some kind of significant announcement at this time, as occurred in 2017 when President Xi Jinping was declared “all powerful” in China, after a new body of political thought carrying his name was added to the Communist party’s constitution.

Two cycles ago thousands of people in Syria were fleeing from the central Syrian city of Homs as rebel forces were dealing successive devastating blows against Assad’s government, nearly 14 years after protests against him erupted across Syria in the summer of 2011. Tens of thousands of political prisoners were being released from government prisons in various cities, and many who had been kept away from their families for years were finally being reunited.

This is the Maya birth energy of Dr. Li Wenliang, the doctor in Wuhan who issued the first warning to colleagues that there were seven confirmed cases of coronavirus, in December of 2019, despite the fact that Chinese officials were trying to downplay it.

5 Muluk (May 11th) – a “precision” (or “blessing”) type of energy associated with the shape-shifting energy of water, marking the 85th Gregorian anniversary of the end of the horrific Blitz in the UK in 1941 – the bombing campaign by Nazi Germany against the UK that lasted for 8 months.

This is the start of the Canadian Nursing Association’s National Nursing Week, and in Vancouver this is the opening day for the 4-day Web Summit Vancouver, referred to as “The world’s premier tech conference”.

This is also marking five cycles since the dumpster was deposed in the $83 million E. Jean Carroll defamation lawsuit. Since then he been trying to weasel out of paying her, but just 12 days ago a federal appeals court again shot down his request to rehear the case.

6 Ok (May 12th) – a “shine the light in the darkness, everywhere” type of force, marking two cycles since Syrian rebels declared Damascus FREE. The rebels said they entered the capital Damascus without any sign of army deployments, arriving at the doorstep of President Bashar-al Assad after their lightning offensive that swept across the country in just over a week. The military defences had collapsed and Assad had left the country.

Currently this is coinciding with International Nurses Day, marking Florence Nightingale’s 206th Gregorian birthday, and the start of the Canadian Nursing Association’s National Nursing Week. This is also the opening day for the 79th Cannes Film Festival, which runs to May 23rd.

It has now been seven cycles since the New York Attorney-General’s office announced that it had opened an investigation into the dumpster’s company, an investigation that resulted in a finding of massive fraud and a fine of close to half a billion dollars.

7 Chuwen (May 13th) –“self-generating play”, a highly creative “time weaving” (and sometimes trick playing) type of energy that can sometimes conjure up things of an unusual nature. This is coinciding with the Feast day of Our Lady of Fatima, at which time thousands of pilgrims from around the world will gather in Fatima, Portugal.

This marks ten cycles since the 2019 election of Volodymyr Zelenskyy as the new president of Ukraine. Exactly one cycle later the House Judiciary Committee released a 650-page impeachment report related to the dumpster’s attempt to coerce Ukraine into helping to interfere in the 2020 US presidential election.

8 Eb’ (May 14th) – the “resurrection” of the pathfinding energy of vitality, associated with the “dew of life”; a day which the Maya traditionally devoted to the Celebration of Personal Life. At this time this is coinciding with Canada’s National March for Life, in Ottawa. This is the 78th anniversary of the day in 1948 when the British Mandate expired in Israel and the new Jewish state was established.

It has now been seven cycles exactly since a state ceremony (“lying in honour”) was held at the Capitol Rotunda in Washington DC. for slain police officer Sicknick, who had died as a result of injuries sustained during the Jan. 6th insurrection. After the ceremony a long procession carried his remains to Arlington National Cemetery.

9 B’en (May 15th) – the “outward projection” of “personal authority” (or “long lasting personal authority”), a Maya Calendar anniversary of the energy that was in place at the time of the US Declaration of Independence in 1776. As it happens, President Obama was born precisely 260 Tzolk’in cycles after that declaration, and as 260 is such a key number within Maya Calendrics, this would suggest that the Maya Calendar is confirming that Obama was destined to become president.

It has now been eleven cycles since the infamous closed door talks between the dumpster  and Putin in Helsinki on July 16th, 2018, when the dumpster basically threw U.S. Intelligence Agencies “under a bus”, by siding with Putin rather than honouring the work done by US defence organizations. Just over one cycle ago (last August, in Alaska) these two held another “it’s anyone’s guess about what actually happened” meeting, when the dumpster welcomed onto US soil, an an “honoured guest”, that international pariah who is wanted by the ICJ for international war crimes. Three days later an Oval Office meeting was held with President Zelenskyy and EU leaders as negotiations towards ending the Russia-Ukraine war continued. But still that war continues . . .

This marks nine cycles exactly since Trump was formally impeached for the first time by the US House of Representatives. One of the key factors in this regard was his abuse of power in attempting to withhold military aid from Ukraine in exchange for political favours.

Note that this marks the 78th Gregorian anniversary of Nakba (“Catastrophe”) Day, marking the explusion of hundreds of thousands of Palestinians from their homes when their land was expropriated by the Israeli government after the declaration of the state of Israel in Palestine in 1948. Many fled to Gaza where they continued to live in fear of raids and bombardments from Israel . . . and then came the full blown war, ignited by the October 2023 attack. Since that attack, over 75,000 Palestinians have been killed and more than 172,000 wounded in Gaza by Israeli attacks (some estimates are even higher), and nearly all of Gaza’s 2.3 million people have been displaced, often repeatedly. One cycle ago, as Israel vowed to destroy all of Gaza, the situation was seen as a second Nakba, as so much of Gaza’s infrastructure and life support systems have been destroyed. Tragically and shamefully (for the world) Gaza is still in the midst of that “second catastrophe” as Israel continues to violate the so-called ceasefire . . . .

It has been over three years since the UN General Assembly adopted its first resolution to commemorate Nakba Day and the “historical injustice that befell the Palestinian people”. At that time Palestinian UN envoy Riyad Mansour told the UN’s 193 member countries that Palestinians “deserve recognition of their plight, justice for the victims, reparation for their loss and fulfilment of their rights.” And yet – the horror in that region still goes on . . . and crisis resolving leadership has yet to step up and take action to help the people, rather than serving their own interests.

This day is also:

o International Conscientious Objector Day, marked around the world, associated with the raising of awareness regarding the refusal to participate in armed conflict for moral or religious reasons.
o Endangered Species Day, a global day of awareness raising and global action, this year celebrating the 53rd anniversary of the Endangered Species Act, which became effective in 1973.
o In Japan this brings the start of Kyoto’s “Imperial” Aoi Matsuri (“Hollyhock” Festival), one of the biggest festivals in Japan
o The start of the Upfest Street Art and Graffiti festival in Bristol, seen as the largest festival of this kind in Europe.
o the official start of the eastern Pacific Ocean’s hurricane season.

10 Ix (May 16th) – a “source” based energy associated with the jaguar and the mysteries of the earth, coinciding at this time with the New Moon and with UN’s International Day of Living Together in Peace, a special day that the UN designates as a means of “mobilizing the efforts of the international community to promote peace, tolerance, inclusion, understanding and solidarity” with the aim of upholding the desire “to live and act together, united in differences and diversity, in order to build a sustainable world of peace, solidarity and harmony”. The theme this year is “Building Trust Through Dialogue, Inclusion, and Reconciliation”. Many special events and initiatives in support of Ukraine, Gaza, Lebanon, Sudan, and other war-ravaged regions could potentially come forth at this time.

International Day of Light 2026

Similarly, this is UNESCO’s International Day of Light, “a global initiative that provides an annual focal point for the continued appreciation of light and the role it plays in science, culture and art, education, and sustainable development, and in fields as diverse as medicine, communications, and energy”, on the 66th anniversary of the first successful operation of a laser in 1960 by physicist and engineer Theodore Maiman, who developed the world’s first functioning laser. The theme this year is “Light for a Sustainable Future”.

When this energy was in place in July of 2023 NATO allies agreed to a three-part package designed to ease Ukraine’s path to membership, which included ratification of a wide-ranging security pact with Ukraine, to include defence equipment, training, and intelligence sharing. At the same time several countries agreed to train the Ukrainian air force in the use of F-16 fighter jets. Currently this is National Armed Forces Day in the U.S., and the opening of the two-day World Heart Summit in Geneva, Switzerland, as world leaders in cardiovascular health meet with the goal of strengthening the global response to cardiovascular disease to help people live longer, healthier lives.

11 Men (May 17th) – “inspirational Eagle” – a Burner Day that can bring about change or a new form of Higher Vision, marking two cycles since the day when thousands of Syrians took to the streets to celebrate Bashar al-Assad’s ouster in Syria. Families with children, as well as armed and uniformed Islamist fighters, gathered to celebrate the first Friday prayers in Damascus following Assad’s overthrow.

This day is now marking four cycles exactly since the inaugural session of the NATO-Ukraine Council, a body established to upgrade relations between Kyiv and the now-32-member transatlantic military alliance. At that session NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg welcomed Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to participate “as an equal”, and since then the EU’s “Coalition of the Willing” has continued to work to provide Ukraine with security guarantees, through their strong commitment to various forms of support.

It has now been six 260-day cycles since it was reported that the U.S. National Archives and Records Administration had transported 15 boxes of presidential records from Mar-a-Lago to the National Archives – boxes full of documents that the dumpster had illegally taken. That was before it was discovered that even more documents (including highly sensitive top secret documents) had been hidden at that resort, in violation of the espionage act. Those were the ones seized by the FBI in August of 2023.

Currently this is the UN’s International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia, and Biphobia (IDAHOBIT): a worldwide celebration of sexual and gender  diversities, with this year’s global
focus being “At the Heart of Democracy”. This year there are over 5000 events being celebrated in more than 155 countries. This is also the final day of the Canadian Nursing Association’s National Nursing Week.

12 Kib’ (May 18th) – a “gathering together” type of energy, associated with the ability to “survey”, clean things up, and ultimately restore order, now coinciding with start of the UN’s 79th World Health Assembly, the decision-making body of the WHO. This assembly is held in Geneva, Switzerland, where member states look at public health issues of global importance, including making amendments to international health regulations.

This is now marking nine cycles since the first cluster of patients with “pneumonia of an unknown cause” was first identified in China in December of 2019, when the world was getting a “head’s up” with regard to the pandemic that was coming.

In addition, this is International Museum Day, with this year’s theme being “Museums Uniting a Divided World”, as well as Victoria Day in Canada, a public holiday in honour of Queen Victoria as the “Mother of Confederation”.

13 Kab’an (May 19th) – transformational movement (or earth movement), a powerful force that can bring either heavy weather conditions, or significant “movement” of a consequential nature, as it did five cycles ago when Elon Musk completed his $44bn takeover of Twitter, becoming the “Chief Twit”. Since then he has certainly shown himself to be just that!

When this was last in place (last September), the International Association of Genocide Scholars — which has around 500 members worldwide, including a number of Holocaust experts — joined other major human rights organizations, including two Israeli groups, in applying the word “genodice” to Israel’s wartime conduct. According to the group’s resolution, “Israel’s policies and actions in Gaza meet the legal definition of genocide,” as well as being crimes against humanity and war crimes – and yet Israel still remains at the center of on-going military action in the Middle East.

Currently this is World Family Doctor Day, and the opening day for huge Chelsea Flower Show in London, seen as “the world’s greatest flower show”, created by world renowned garden designers, which runs to May 23rd.

This is also the Maya birth energy of British supercentenarian Ethel May Caterham who will celebrate her 117th birthday this August 21st.
