After the intense dualities that presented themselves in the form of many extremes during the last trecena, including brutal heat and devastating wildfires, torrential rains, and several major earthquakes, we now begin the final 52-day segment of the current Maya 260-day Tzolk’in cycle.
As this is the Muluk (Water) trecena, there is a good chance that water may factor into important events during this period, and water is significant to cleansing and healing. Moreover, this is now coinciding with a Maya month that is also water-oriented, so hopefully that will mean that the intense heat wave in Europe and elsewhere will give way to more tolerable temperatures. At this time, World Humanitarian Day, which is calling for greater protection of health care and humanitarian services, coincides with the first day of this trecena, so this is also fitting in perfectly with these energies. World Water Week also takes place during this period, from Aug. 23-27th.
For places such as South Korea and the Philippines, where recent torrential rains had triggered massive flooding and landslides, however, the prospect of even more water may not be welcome news.
Also capturing a great deal of attention at this time is the issue of appalling conditions, including food shortages, aboard a US aircraft carrier that is operating near the Strait of Hormuz, with the ship having spent over 260 consecutives days at sea, without returning to shore. Apprently another ship has been sent to replace the USS Abraham Lincoln, so this is another water-related event that will play out during this period.
From the perspective of ancient Mesoamerican mythology, this trecena was seen as having the potential to be massively life-changing through the infusion of an often “electrifying” energy sequence that was seen traditionally as being under the patronage of a deity known as Chalchiuhtolin, the jade or “jewelled” turkey, a symbol of magic, abundance, ultimate authority, and even sorcery. This complex deity has been associated with darkness, disease, and even the plague, but in his turkey form, as overseer of this time frame, he also has the power to cleanse and to eradicate pestilence.

Adaptation of the Muluk (Water) trecena from the pre-Columbian Codex Borgia by artist Richard Balthazar (used with permission). The first day (One Muluk) is represented by the little watery head at the lower left (within the border). The other days of this trecena proceed from there to the right, and then up towards the top, to the head of a crocodile (Imix) at the upper right. The daysign numbers pertaining to this trecena (beginning with One Muluk) are not shown, but implied. The patron deity associated with this trecena is depicted as a Jade (or Jewelled) turkey, shown in the larger image at the top. Jade is emblematic of water. Click here for an overview of Richard’s various other versions of the same trecena.
The great “watery” Feathered Serpent also provides support for this period, so this creates a generative “firewater” kind of force representative of the original creation forces that sparked life. These forces have been known to open the door to many new and exciting possibilities. They have also been known to trigger major shifts in direction, even to the point of significantly altering personal lives or changing the world, like they did in the spring of 2020 when an estimated one-third of the world was in lockdown mode, and people everywhere were scrambling to sort out how to deal with the rapidly changing situations being triggered by the global pandemic.
By the end of that year, one cycle later, another major shift took place and suddenly vaccine programs were underway, with the very first day of this trecena being V-Day in the UK, the start of the biggest ever vaccination program. That was the day when President Biden pledged to distribute 100 million vaccine shots in the first 100 days of his presidency. That was one Gregorian year after one of the first cases of coronavirus was detected in Wuhan, China. One cycle after the start of that UK program, Pfizer’s Covid-19 vaccine program was picking up steam after receiving full approval from the US FDA – the first one to be fully licensed in the US (although emergency use had been granted one cycle earlier). Note, as well, that the first day of this trecena in 2010 was when President Obama signed his Affordable Care Act into law in the U.S.
Often in response to global issues that need to be addressed, the huge shifts that have taken place in the past at this point in the 260-day cycle often involve a galvanization of forces that pull together in order to bring about a “tidal wave” of transformative change. This could be seen quite clearly two cycles ago, in March of 2025, when hundreds of thousands of people were gearing up for massive protests against the dumpster and his cronies in the U.S., after they had been hit by a torrent of executive orders, mass firings, and widescale assaults by DOGE shortly after the start of the dumpster’s 2.0 term. As a result of a massive grassroots groundswell of anti-Trump activism, DOGE was disbanded, and a nationalwide resistance movement was established, which is still working towards their stated goal of Impeaching, Convicting, and Removing the monster in the White House. Indeed, since then push-backs against the tyranny and darkness has been continuous – on the streets, in the courts, and even at international levels. And now, with primary elections taking place in the US, with the midterm elections fast approaching, attention is being placed on the prevention of election interference, and energizing voters to turn the tide against all the blatant corruption and mind-boggling incompetency, on every level, that is now in full view on a daily basis with regard to the dumpster and his entire administration.
Similarly, on the world stage, the dumpster is seen essentially as an untrustworthy pariah, known primarily for attacking former allies both verbally and through actions such as illegal tariffs, for boot-licking tyrants and dictators, and for starting a reckless, pointless war that he doesn’t know how to win or end. His reckless disregard for the welfare of US service personnel, such as those stuck on the USS Abraham Lincoln in the Middle East, has highlighted his callousness and gross ineptitude even further.
Looking at the potential influence of this Water trecena’s energies, it might be helpful to keep in mind that water has a tremendous ability to “wash away” and cleanse. And indeed, many inspirational events have occurred in the past during this period, with 4 Eb’ (the 4th day) often figuring prominently. This energy, representative of a solar force in combination with Eb’s “animating vitality”, tends to manifest as an uplifting, refreshing type of power marked by a sense of the opening up of new possibilities. This is what was in place in June of 1965 when the first spacewalk took place, and then again in 1968 when the “Earthrise” photo was taken from Apollo 8, becoming the iconic first photograph taken by a human of Earth from Deep Space. In 2008 that was the energy in place when Barack Obama became the first African-American to win the U.S. presidential election, and masses of people world-wide were feeling buoyant by a wave of “hope” and the whole idea of new possibilities.
Only the weather gods know for sure what is in store for this period, but relief from the sweltering heat does seem to be in the forecasts for western Europe, and it seems that substantial, life-supporting rains are also in the works. And even if downpours do arrive, they will likely be greatly welcomed after so many weeks of sweltering heat. Keep in mind that this trecena has been known to bring forth developments that have been significantly transformative, often in positive ways. Remember that water is the ultimate shapeshifter, and as much as it can be turbulent (and even highly destructive) at times, it can also be calm, tranquil and highly supportive of life. Indeed, some of history’s most dramatic (and life-altering) floods have taken place during this trecena, but this trecena has also shown its capacity to facilitate cleansing and healing, through the “washing away” of stagnation and disorder.
At this point it seems that the stage is set once again for significant change. Keep in mind that as much as this can be a shapeshifting – and potentially even electrifying – time frame, water is essentially a generative, life-enhancing force that can help to bring forth purification and refreshment. Here are the energies that will come into play:
1 Muluk (Aug. 19th) – “the initiation of water (purification)” – a kind of “double water” day associated with the Moon Goddess (symbolic of water and the Number One) in conjunction with the often shape-shifting energy of water, which is coinciding at this time with the Maya month-related energy known as 2 Mol. Mol is a Maya month associated with water, with Mol “flowing” through this entire trecena.
Within the 260-day cycle, One Muluk is an important 52-day Shift-point that often brings forth dramatic shifts in state, as new pathways for action begin opening up, as could be seen seven cycles ago when thousands of people were being rapidly evacuated from Kabul airport in Afghanistan. As that was happening the Jan. 6th committee in the US Capitol was getting down to business with its investigation into the Jan. 6th, 2021 attack.
At times this “shape-shifting” force can be somewhat overwhelming, as seen two cycles ago when Spain was inundated by raging floods, and one cycle ago (last December) when there was extensive flooding in Sri Lanka, Indonesia, and Thailand. However, with so many areas desperately in need of water at the present time, hopefully this will bring a change towards refreshment.
Currently this is coinciding with the UN’s World Humanitarian Day, with this year’s theme focusing on “Families of Fallen Humanitarians”, with the emphasis being on honouring the memories of those who have lost their lives while engaged in humanitarian service. The focus for the World Health Organization at this time is “recognizing the dedication of health workers who continue to provide care in some of the world’s most challenging and dangerous environments”. By mid August of this year the WHO had recorded 914 attacks on health care providers, resulting in 911 deaths and 1486 injuries, with the majority of attacks being reported in Ukraine, Lebanon, the occupied Palestinian territory and Myanmar.
With regard to the world wide humanitarian needs, the United Nations has reported that by the end of May, 2026, “more than 252 million people were in urgent need of humanitarian assistance and protection — 13 million more than when the 2026 Global Humanitarian Overview was launched”. See Humanitarian Action for further info.
Currently this is Day 173 of the US-Iran war and Day 1,636 of the Russia-Ukraine war. This is also:
- National Aviation Day in the U.S. on Orville Wright’s Gregorian birthday, celebrating the development of aviation, at the start of National Aviation week (Aug. 19-25), on what would have been Gene Roddenberry’s 105th birthday.
- the day of China’s Double Seventh Festival (aka the Qixi or Qiqiao festival), also seen as Chinese “Valentine’s Day”, or “Young Girls’ Festival”, associated with romance.
- the Maya birth energy of environmental activist David Suzuki, who celebrated his 90th birthday last Mar. 24th
This marks eight cycles exactly since Covid-19 vaccination programs began in England, Scotland, and Wales and several other countries. That came precisely one cycle after the UK and many other countries began nation-wide lockdowns in March of 2020. That was when António Guterres, the Secretary General of the United Nations, appealed for an immediate global ceasefire, calling for an end to all armed conflicts so that the world could instead focus on fighting the rapidly advancing coronavirus. Obviously that appeal fell on deaf (and dead) ears.
Six cycles ago, as the White House hosted the second Global Covid-19 Summit, the flag over the White House was flying at half-mast in remembrance of the more than one million deaths lost to Covid in the U.S. This also marks three cycles since the eve of the “death of democracy” at the hands of the dumpster and the U.S. Supreme Court. Disgustingly, they are still trying to “blame someone else” for this disaster.
2 Ok (Aug. 20th) – a dynamic yin/yang type of force relating to love, warmth, guidance, and loyalty (symbolized by the Maya glyph for Dog), now marking eight cycles exactly since the US Surgeon General strongly urged everyone in the US to stay at home as the pandemic was firmly taking hold. It was a time for people to make many radical changes as so many adjustments were needed in daily lives in the interest of keeping people safe.
It has now been three long, devastating cycles since the U.S. Supreme Court rendered what many consider to be its worst decision EVER – the landmark ruling that said that a U.S. president is entitled to immunity for “some official acts”, the first time any form of presidential immunity from prosecution had ever been granted. And, as predicted by almost everyone, the orange felon in the White House has been riding on the coattails on that ruling ever since. As Justice Sotomayor, who wrote one of the dissents said, “The president is now a king above the law” . . . they have “let him use his official power for evil ends”. Senator Adam Schiff added that this ruling fundamentally reshaped the presidency, because it fully authorized the president “to commit crimes”. As President Biden said at the time: “It’s a dangerous precedent, because the power of the office will no longer be constrained by the law . . . . the only limits will be self-imposed by the president alone. . . . .” Compounding the problem was the fact that the orange felon was being increasingly seen as “Demented Don”, as the deranged nature of his mental faculties were becoming more and more apparent. Now the question is: How many lives have been shattered because of that ruling?
3 Chuwen (Aug. 21st) – the “activation” of creativity; an important “time-weaving” type of energy that can often bring forth powerful shifts, as happened when this was in place in 1966 when a catastrophic flood of the Arno surged through Florence, Italy, becoming the worst flood in the city’s history since 1557. The flood had a devastating effect on businesses, families, and priceless works of art. Sixtieth anniversary commemorative events will be taking place in that city on Nov. 4th this year.
Currently this is the opening day for the World Peace Award Conference in Stockolm, Sweden, which brings together activists and peace advocates for five days of “dialogue, ceremony, and cultural exchange”, in the interest of promoting world peace. This is also the day when all construction on the White House “ballroom” has been ordered to stop if the Supreme Court does not take up the case. Although the cost for this garish vanity project was originally projected to be $200 million, that has now scaled up to a whopping $900 million.
This is British supercentenarian Ethel May Caterham’s 117th birthday. She has been the world’s oldest living person since the passing of Inah Canabarro Lucas in 2025, just a few weeks shy of her 117th birthday. Happy birthday Ethel!
In 1929 this was the energy in place on Black Tuesday, when investors traded some 16 million shares on the New York Stock Exchange in a single day at the time of the Wall Street crash.
In 2011 this was the energy in place when the action thriller called Contagion was released, depicting the rapid spread of a virus to cities around the globe.
4 Eb’ (Aug. 22nd) – the “defining of animating vitality” – an uplifting, refreshing type of energy that often brings a sense of new possibilities, often highly eventful.
Back in 1968 this was the energy in place when the “Earthrise” photo was taken from Apollo 8 as it orbited the moon. That was the first photo of Earth from the perspective of the moon – one of the most famous photos ever taken, which, according to Al Gore, kicked off the modern environmental movement. Five cycles earlier, in 1965, Ed White made the first space walk by a U.S. astronaut under this same energy influence.
In 2014 this energy brought forth an agreement on the framework for an historic nuclear reduction agreement with Iran, seen as the most important foreign relations negotiation of the Obama presidency. But, as with everything else that Trump does, through his revolting arrogance and mind-boggling incompetence, he has shattered this key agreement as well, and now the US and the world at large are suffering as a result of it.
Five cycles ago, early in 2023, New York prosecutors began presenting their case to a grand jury with regard to Trump’s falsification of records relating to hush money payments. During the trial the following year he was found Guilty on 34 criminal counts, marking the first time in history that a former U.S. president was convicted on criminal charges. Although he was eventually given an unconditional discharge, just prior to being sworn in for his 2.0 term last January, he has still attempted to get the conviction overturned.
5 B’en (Aug. 23rd) – the “blessing of personal authority”, coinciding with the start of World Water Week, with this year’s theme being “Water for People and Progress”, runnning through to Aug. 27th.
This is UNESCO’s International Day for the Remembrance of the Slave Trade and its Abolition, in remembrance of the uprising in Haiti in 1791 that played a crucial role in the abolition of the transatlantic slave trade.
In 2024 President Biden addressed America’s history of enslavement in a speech at Angola’s National Museum of Slavery, when he called slavery “our nation’s original sin”. During that speech he noted that the United States was founded on an idea, embedded in the Declaration of Independence, that all men and women are created equal. But he also pointed out that it was abundantly clear that they had not lived up to that idea.
In 1973 this was the energy that was in place at the time of the overwhelming approval of the Endangered Species Act by both the US House and Senate. Nine months earlier, that same year, this was the energy in place when the first cell-phone call was made by wireless communications pioneer Martin Cooper, who will celebrate his 98th birthday on Dec. 26th.
It has now been nine cycles since U.N. Secretary-General Antonio Guterres spoke at the first joint video briefing for the 193 U.N. member nations, at the launch of the U.N.’s COVID-19 Communications for Solidarity Initiative to rapidly inform people about facts and science, “and promote and inspire acts of humanity around the world.” This also marks eight cycles since Congress in the US passed a $2 trillion stimulus package to help people affected by the pandemic. Let’s pray that there won’t be another pandemic while the current regime is in power.
This is the Maya birth energy of Dr. Li Wenliang, the Chinese doctor who issued the first warning about the coronavirus in the early days of the outbreak, who later died of it. He is now honoured as one of the Heroes of the pandemic.
6 Ix (Aug. 24th) – the energy of the six directions in conjunction with the jaguar (and Jaguar Warrior) and the fate of the earth, now marking the 35th Gregorian anniversary of Ukraine’s Declaration of Independence (from the USSR).
This 6 Ix energy, which is now marking eight cycles exactly since Covid-19 vaccines first arrived in Canada, is the Maya birth energy of Dr. Kizzmekia Corbett – the immunologist who played a key role in developing the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine.
7 Men (Aug. 25th) – a “self-generating” type of energy associated with the Eagle’s “higher vision”, marking eight Tzolk’in cycles since the Electoral College in the US voted to formalize Joe Biden’s win as President-elect in 2020. That was the day when coronavirus vaccines began to be distributed and administered in both the US and Canada.
It has now been four cycles since the Biden administration submitted a $106bn request to Congress, in October of 2023, for military and humanitarian aid for Israel and Ukraine, and humanitarian assistance for Gaza, insisting lawmakers had an obligation to support US allies standing up to tyranny and aggression worldwide. Congress fought about this among themselves for several months before the aid began to be sent, due to the complete disarray and lack of leadership in the Republican party. And the untold amount of suffering continues on. As of February of this year the Gaza death toll had exceeded 75,000 people.
The last time this was in place (last December), it was reported that a coalition of more than 230 environmental groups were demanding a national moratorium on energy-hungry datacenters in the US, primarily to meet the huge computing demands of AI. The push-back against this technology increased substantially in recent months as the booming artificial intelligence industry is often blamed for escalating electricity bills and worsening the climate crisis. As 7 Men is an energy that can provide insight into how to tackle difficult issues, it may be that some solutions to critical world issues may present themselves around this time.
Currently this is the Day of Songun, a national holiday in North Korea. The Songun (meaning ‘military-first’) system was devised by Kim Jong-il to assign a classification to every citizen based on socioeconomic background at the time of liberation in 1945. Songun, officially ‘Songun Politics’, prioritizes the military in all aspects of North Korean society and has boosted the importance of the Korean People’s Army in politics, society and culture.
This evening brings the start of Mawlid al-Nabi, the observance of the birthday of the prophet Muhammad in the Muslim calendar. This is celebrated in Iran (and elsewhere) as an official public holiday.
8 Kib’ (Aug. 26th ) – the “resurrection” of the transmutation oriented force that can lead towards the restoration of order, marking one Calendar Round precisely since President Ford pardoned former President Nixon in early September, 1974.
This marks seven cycles exactly since Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenskyy first met with President Biden at the White House, and six cycles since Sweden and Finland officially applied to join NATO. Both countries have now been accepted as full members.
Currently this is Women’s Equality Day, celebrating the 106th Gregorian anniversary of the adoption of the U.S. 19th amendment, which granted all citizens, including women, the constitutional right to vote. The theme this year is “Leading the Change: Women Shaping a Sustainable Future”. With voting rights having been gutted by the US Supreme Court earlier this year, this will be an important Day of Action. This is the 56th Gregorian anniversary of the Women’s Strike for Peace and Equality in 1970 when massive Women’s Liberation demonstrations and marches took place in New York and in other cities across the U.S.
This is the Maya birth energy of prominent civil rights and social justice activist Rev. Al Sharpton, one of the most influential civil rights leaders in the US.
Elsewhere, this is the final (and main event) day of the 12-day Onam harvest festival in Kerala, India; the day of the La Tomatino festival in the town of Buñol in Spain, when people “paint the town” red in “the biggest food fight in the world”; and International Dog Day. This is also the full day of Mawlid al-Nabi, the observance of the birthday of the prophet Muhammad in the Muslim calendar, which ends at nightfall.
9 Kab’an (Aug. 27th) – representative of “outwardly-projecting” longevity in connection with the earth and evolutionary movement, where there can be long range implications for actions, now coinciding with the start of an 8-day celebration of the 25th anniversary of the release of the first Harry Potter movie – Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone.

Similar festivals are held in other countries, as in Vietnam where a related festival is seen as a time for pardoning condemned souls. Known as the Vu Lan festival (from the Sanskrit term Ullambana meaning “deliverance from suffering”), this is also known as the Amnesty of Unquiet Spirits, and people celebrate by participating in religious rituals and engaging in humanitarian activities. One of the rituals includes the releasing of lanterns or lotus flowers into bodies of water.
This is the Maya birth energy of river conservationist Mark Angelo, the founder of World Rivers Day and author of River Magic: Tales from a Life on 1000 Rivers.
10 Etz’nab’ (Aug. 28th) – foundational “flint”; an intense sparkling, “knife-edged”, “flash-point” type of energy that can either dazzle or divide and separate, coinciding at this time with the Full Sturgeon Moon and a partial lunar eclipse, which will turn the moon a coppery-red colour.
This was the energy in place two cycles ago when Brazil’s Supreme Court ruled unanimously that Bolsonaro would stand trial for leading a coup attempt after he lost the 2022 election. During the trial he was found guilty and sentenced to 27 years in prison. He began serving that sentence last November, which goes to show that when a functioning judicial system is in place (unlike in the U.S.) justice can be served and people can be held accountable for such gross and obvious crimes.
At this time this energy is marking the 63rd Gregorian anniversary of that memorable day in 1963 when Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. led 250,000 people on an historic “March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom”, when he delivered his iconic “I Have a Dream” speech.
Back in 1861, this was the energy in place when President Abraham Lincoln addressed the U.S. Congress in his call for 500,000 militia for the Civil War. Not only does it seem like that war has never really ended, but, as Ken Burns’ remarkable series on the U.S. Revolutionary War reveals, it seems that bitter internal stife has been part of the very fabric of the U.S. since the days of its inception 250 years ago. Indeed, much of the brutal eight year conflict that ensued after the declaration of independence was essentially a civil war, as patriots fought against loyalists, resulting in tens of thousands of casualties. It seems that something fundamental in the American psyche has to change in order to break this ongoing cycle of internal conflict. Perhaps this is what this “era” is all about – opening up an opportunity to see what is at the core of the divisiveness, so that core issues can be identified and eventually healed.
Note as well that this was the energy in place in October of 2023 when a Colorado judge rejected an attempt by the dumpster to throw out a lawsuit seeking to block him from the 2024 presidential ballot based on the 14th Amendment insurrectionist ban. The 14th Amendment, which was ratified after the Civil War, states that U.S. officials who take an oath to uphold the Constitution are disqualified from future office if they “engaged in insurrection” or have “given aid or comfort” to insurrectionists. Again the question should be asked: How did the dumpster get past this in order to even be on the ballot in the 2024 election?? And further to that – how does any of this equate with his pardoning of insurrectionists once his 2.0 term began?
Back in July of 1940, this was the energy in place at the beginning of the Battle of Britain, when intense daylight air raids began. That was when the Vichy state was setup in France, a rump state headed by Marshal Philippe Pétain after the French capitulated to Germany. It was named after its seat of government, the city of Vichy.
11 Kawak (Aug. 29th) – inspirational “storm of compassion” now coinciding with the 21st Gregorian anniversary of the day when Hurricane Katrina made landfall as a Cat. 4 hurricane on the Louisiana coast in 2005, triggering severe flooding that brought devastation from New Orleans to Biloxi, Mississippi. Nearly 1400 people were killed, some 25,000 homes were destroyed and the overall economic damage surpassed $200 billion as over 80% of the city plus surrounding areas were flooded. Note that this is 11 Kawak in the Muluk trecena, whereas Katrina took place on 11 Muluk in the Kawak trecena. Both of these are very “watery” energy combinations.

This is the 21st anniversary of the day when Hurricane Katrina made landfall in 2005 during the Kawak (Storm) trecena. (Photo credit: The U.S. National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, via Wikimedia Commons)
The last time this was in place (last December), the Sumas Prairie in southwestern British Columbia was dealing with extensive flooding from an atmospheric river that necessitated the evacuation of over 450 properties. At the same time Gaza was being hit by heavy rains that caused major flooding, washing through the makeshift shelters of the 2.2 million people who were living in tents after two years of Israeli bombardment.
This forceful energy is now marking two cycles exactly since leaders from 31 countries gathered in Paris for a high-stakes “coalition of the willing” summit on Ukraine to lay the groundwork for long-term security guarantees. Currently this is the UN’s International Day Against Nuclear Tests (aka Anti-Nuclear Day). This energy is also marking nine cycles precisely since early April of 2020 when the global number of Covid-19 cases passed the one million mark, on the way to the current tally of over 7 million.
It has now been one cycle exactly since the National Trust for Historic Preservation, a nonprofit organization tasked by the US Congress with helping preserve historic sites, filed a lawsuit to stop construction on the White House “ballroom”, arguing that the White House failed to seek necessary reviews before demolishing the historic East Wing in October. “No president is legally allowed to tear down portions of the White House without any review whatsoever”, it stated. This case was supported earlier this month by a federal appeals court that concurred about the need for congressional approval. A final court decision was due to take effect by the third day of this trecena.
On this evening, the Gardens of the Palace of Versailles near Paris will host a special “Night Fountains Show” to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the release of the Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone film. London’s colourful 3-day Notting Hill Carnival also begins at this time. This is an annual celebration of Caribbean culture, and known as one of the biggest street parties in the world.
12 Ajaw (Aug. 30th) – a “gathering together” force aligned with the full sun and “enlightenment”, a day that often sheds light on human conditions, coinciding at this time with the opening day for the Burning Man festival in Nevada’s Black Rock desert, with this year’s theme being “Axis Mundi”, with a focus on “interconnectedness, shared reality, and the natural world”. This is a festival that “celebrates puzzles without answers, embraces the irrational and the absurd, and invites the unknown over for tea”. It has now been three years since the flooding at the site when Storm Hilary hit, when the site became a muddy quagmire that stranded thousands.
This marks ten cycles (2600 days) since Epstein appeared in court (in 2019) where he was denied bail with regard to his notorious sex trafficking case, four cycles since the “fiery” day in a New York courtroom when Michael Cohen testified for a second day during the Trump fraud trial, and three cycles since the New York Times published a scathing, five-part piece that bluntly summarized why Trump 2.0 should not be allowed to happen, as they highlighted multiple ways in which it had been demonstrated that the Orange Felon was “unfit to lead”. And, as the world has seen, even the worst of the warnings pale in comparison with what has actually taken place since that unthinkable election.
13 Imix (Aug. 31st) – “transformational birth”, another force that can be highly intense, coinciding at this time with International Overdose Awareness Day, when candlelight vigils will be held in many areas to bring attention to the opioid crisis and to Overdose Prevention.
This is the 29th Gregorian anniversary of Princess Diana’s shocking death in 1997.

An in-depth analysis of the energies encoded in the Sacred Maya Calendar and the impact of those energies on daily life.
