It has now been one full 260-day cycle since U.S. voters were being called upon to tap into their inner wisdom, do their research, and muster the strength to make informed, responsible decisions that had the potential, literally, to shape the destiny of the world. Last October, this was the last full trecena before the 2024 presidential election. Early voting was underway and the pressure was on for citizens to come to terms with a key question: “What kind of world do you want to live in?” In particular, the pressure was on for any “undecideds” or former Maga-ites to come to the realization that they have a personal responsibility to become properly informed so that they could vote in a rational, clear-headed manner in the forthcoming election. It was a call to “step up” to the plate at a key turning point within the 260-day cycle of days.

As always, this trecena begins with One B’en, representative of the “initiation” of “self determination”, which kicks off the second 52-day period within the 260 day Tzolk’in. This is a force that often presents itself in bold ways, picking up the banner of authority, so to speak, as it points towards new kinds of action that will play out over the following 52 day period (4 trecenas). One cycle ago that period included both the U.S. presidential election and its chaotic, terrifying, first 40-day aftermath.

Robust growing corn or strong growing reeds, representative of that sense of “vigorous energy pushing through”, are highly symbolic of both the B’en daysign and this period as a whole. Many “pillar-like” symbols tie in with this idea, as could be seen in 2020 during this trecena when the symbolic nature of statues became the focus of attention during Black Lives Matter demonstrations in the U.S.

Traditionally the patrons of this B’en trecena were seen as being highly oriented around the idea of cleansing and “purification”, which often involves a shifting of energies to clear out stagnation. Indeed the principal patron of this time period was seen as Chalchiuhtlicue, the Goddess of Running Water, associated with the cleansing waters of the earth. She is sometimes accompanied by Tlazoltéotl, the “Great Mother” goddess who not only represents fertility, but also forgiveness and healing. Often some sense of “renewed vitality” can be felt during this time frame, as could be seen three cycles ago when a number of volcanoes became very active, as has happened many times in the past.

The last time this was in place, however, the “volcanoes” were primarily “humanoid”, as dueling presidential campaigns kicked into overdrive, and Elon Musk, in particular, was pulling out all stops as he flaunted his “world’s wealthiest person” personal authority to drum up support for the dumpster. It was a revolting spectacle that seemed to have worked, as far too many people got caught up in that circus and lost control of their own sense of reason as they fell for bells and whistles being touted by the likes of Musk, Trump, and their sychophants.

So now these same energies have returned, and once again they will provide opportunities for people to give themselves a shake, and remember that this is a time frame predisposed around the idea of self determination. At the present time it will bring in Canada Day in Canada, and the 4th of July in the US, during which time millions of Americans will be engaged in Free America events oriented around the idea of freeing America from the tyranny that they brought upon themselves one cycle earlier when enough people (supposedly) began voting for someone who has shown, in no uncertain terms, that he is interested only in himself, and not the people of his country, or the rest of the world. So now, as tried and true institutions and ideals are being trampled underfoot by the “gangster-state president” (who issues Executive Orders on a whim rather than going through Congress), the PEOPLE of the U.S. are coming to the realization that it is they themselves who will need to stand up and defeat both the tyrant and his sychophantic cohorts if they ever want to regain any vestige of freedom. It’s a tall order, and a huge challenge, and yet, due to the rapid pace of destruction around them, it’s something that MUST be done.

In fact, that emphasis on “self determination” has shone through quite vividly during this period in the past, with individuals stepping forth to offer leadership and “claim” authority, particularly in conjunction with the idea of “standing up” for justice, human rights, and equality. Indeed, it was the first day of this trecena in early January of 1960 when John F. Kennedy announced his candidacy and initiated his campaign for the US presidency. Similarly, it was the first day of this period in 2011 when President Obama announced that he would be running for a second term as U.S. president. In 2020 the Economist predicted a possibly landslide victory for Joe Biden in the 2020 election, due to Trump’s “flailing”. Abraham Lincoln was not only born during this trecena, but the final phase of his funeral events, followed by his interment, also took place during this time period.

Historically many huge shifts in the balance of power have taken place during this time frame, as when Hernán Cortés and his conquistadores began pushing into the interior of Mexico just over 500 years ago during this period, fomenting the devastating events that dramatically changed the whole of Mesoamerica. Several centuries later this same trecena saw the start of the Mexican revolution when the revolutionary Francisco Madero led strikes to denounce the dictator Porfirio Diaz. In 2007 this trecena was in place when Nancy Pelosi made history by becoming the first woman Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives, the highest ranking female lawmaker in American politics. She went on to spearhead the passage of hundreds of legislative bills.

In early 2014 some 70,000 pro-Western Ukrainians rallied in Kyiv’s Independence Square during this period in a major push to oust President Viktor Yanukovych over his alliance with Russia. Five cycles ago (in December of 2021) the reins of power in Germany were handed over to Olaf Scholz who replaced Germany’s long-serving chancellor Angela Merkel. That was when Ukraine’s President Zelenskyy was warning that his country’s intelligence service had discovered that Russia, again, was planning some sort of coup or attack against Ukraine. Three cycles ago Ukraine was preparing for a counteroffensive in an effort to push Russia back further, and President Zelenskyy visited several countries to make a strong case for assistance and support in the conflict. Over more than 1200 days of battle he has been a steady and stalwart symbol of strength and resistance for his own people and the world.

Currently, the dumpster is attempting to strong-arm his Republican sychophants in Congress to pass his revolting, and hugely unpopular, 940-page bill – a bill designed to bring enormous cuts to things such as Medicare and Medicaid, huge cuts to food assistance for the American people and to other support systems, and enormous cuts to environmental protections, while appropriating large funding increases for immigration and customs enforcement, and providing huge tax cuts for the wealthy. Compare this to one cycle ago, as of 8 Ajaw, when The Economist described America’s economic growth rate from the end of 2019 to the end of 2023 as being “the envy of the world”, highlighting the fact that from the end of 2019 to the end of 2023, U.S. GDP grew by 8.2 percent—nearly twice as fast as Canada’s, three times as fast as the European Union’s, and more than eight times as fast as the United Kingdom’s. At that time they also reported that Trump’s proposals could drain U.S. Social Security within 6 years, with turned out to be an significant understatement since he began working to destroy that as soon as he took office. Indeed this bill is so unpopular that even Elon Musk has called it “utterly insane and destructive”.

So the stakes are extremely high as this period begins, and people are being called to “stand tall, stand firm” against the lawlessness and disorder, against the brutality, against the lies and disinformation campaigns, and against all the voices of greed, depravity, and insanity that have been seeking to take away rights and freedoms that have been fought for, for so long, in the U.S. and elsewhere. No doubt the Free America movement will be at the forefront of this pushback during this period, and hopefully enough members of Congress will find their backbones in time to defeat the horrific bill before even more destruction is allowed to descend on the American people. Here are the energies that will come into play:

1 B’en (June 29th) – the “initiation” of personal authority, an important 52-day Shift-point within the 260-day cycle, at the beginning of a time frame that is often associated with some significant form of social or political adjustment, or some important announcement.

Very likely this first day of this B’en trecena will be a major organizing day for groups that are planning to make a strong statement on the forthcoming 4th of July about the Trump administration’s on-going assault on personal freedoms in the US. And, as this is the day of annual Pride parades in many places, including in Toronto, Chicago, New York, San Francisco, and Seattle, many people will be “standing up” for their beliefs and personal rights on this day as well.

Certainly 80 year-old rock legend Sir Rod Stewart will be “feeling the vibe” of
personal authority as he performs in the Legends slot on the final day of the Glastonbury music festival in the UK. As The Guardian reports, he is “still cavorting around the world, playing sold out shows, recording new music”. Go get ‘em Sir Rod!

On the international front, this is often a point where new forms of pressure often emerge to try to effect needed change, as seen two cycles ago when the international court of justice (ICJ) in The Hague ordered Israel to ensure that Israeli troops do not commit genocidal acts in Gaza, based on South Africa’s request for emergency measures to be taken to bring about a ceasefire in Gaza and allow more humanitarian aid into that country. Nevertheless, Israel has continued its despicable attacks, bringing the death toll in Gaza to more than 54,000, with more than 125,000 wounded. And the question remains: “When and how will this relentless horror be brought to an end?”

Back in early 1960 the energy of One B’en was in place when John F. Kennedy announced his candidacy and initiated his campaign for the U.S. presidency. In 2010 the first official Nelson Mandela International Day was celebrated under this influence. And the following year President Obama announced that he would be running for his second term as president.

In stark contrast to those events, it was exactly two cycles ago when the dumpster, the instigator of a coup attempt against the US Constitution and against lawmakers and Congress itself, was ordered to pay former journalist E. Jean Carroll $83.3 million in penalties for his revolting attempts to defame her. And now that same insurrectionist and defamer is attempting to exert authority over another country (Iran), by bombing them, to deter them from their efforts to produce nuclear weapons. The fact that people as erratic, callous, and grossly unqualified as those in the current White House are key decision-makers in theatres of war at this time is deeply disturbing and unsettling for many, so let’s hope that this B’en energy doesn’t trigger any further abominations.

Note that in 1942 this One B’en force was in place at the time of the first self-sustained chain reaction which initiated the controlled release of nuclear energy. Let’s pray that some measure of control (some sense of high level authority) remains in place to act as checks against any kind of “uncontrolled” release of nuclear energy. And may the “self determination” forces aligned with this energy help the millions of concerned Americans who want to bring an end to the insanity that has been causing so much chaos in that country and the world at large.

2 Ix (June 30th) – a dynamic type of energy aligned with “jaguar” earth mysteries and transformation, now marking 9 T’zolkin cycles (equivalent to 3 Mars cycles, or “war” cycles) since Russia announced, in 2019, that it would be suspending its involvement in the cold war-era nuclear pact and begin developing new nuclear-capable missiles that were banned by the treaty. This announcement followed a declaration, the day before, by the dumpster during his first term (1.0) that the US would be exiting the intermediate-range nuclear forces (INF) treaty. So this particular duel between the US and Russia has been going on for over six years.

This is now marking two cycles since U.S. Central Intelligence Agency Director William Burns (in the Biden administration) and his Israeli counterpart began meeting with Qatari officials for talks on a hostage deal and ceasefire relating to Gaza. And yet 50 hostages are still being held in Gaza . . . on and on it still goes . . .

3 Men (July 1st) – the “activation of Higher Vision”; a Burner Day oriented around
“announcing the fire” at the beginning of the “Eagle” burner sequence, an energy that sometimes heralds the nature of some important forthcoming event or challenge. This is coinciding with Canada Day, with “mainstage” celebrations taking place in Ottawa, and local events taking place all across the country.

It is anticipated that the sun will reach Solar Cycle 25 max. during this month, so it is possible that strong solar activity could happen again around this time.

This was the energy in place in December of 2016 when US intelligence agencies announced that they had overwhelming evidence that Russian hackers linked to the Kremlin were behind the hacking of the 2016 US presidential election, with Putin orchestrating it in an effort to help the dumpster. That hacking kicked off the political nightmare that has been playing out ever since.

Back in 2019, this was the energy in place at the time of the enthronement ceremony for Emperor Naruhito, the 126th Emperor of Japan, which was seen as a supreme act of “personal authority” as he officially proclaimed his own enthronement, with dignitaries from over 190 countries and international organizations in attendance for the elaborate event.

In early 2014 this was the energy in place when some 70,000 pro-Western Ukrainians rallied in Kyiv’s Independence Square in a major push to oust then-president Viktor Yanukovych over his alliance with Russia. The following year this was in place when Iran and six world nations brought an end to a 12-year stand-off when they reached an historic agreement to place strict restrictions on Iran’s nuclear program and enable sanctions against Iran to be lifted. One cycle after that, early in 2016, this energy brought the opening of the Nuclear Security Summit that was attended by world leaders from more than 50 countries and 4 international organizations (but boycotted by Putin), in the fourth and final nuclear summit initiated by President Obama. But now, 10 years later, all of that is in shreds after the US bombing of Iran’s nuclear facilities on June 22nd.

Currently this is the 50th anniversary of the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES) entering into force, the multilateral treaty to protect endangered plants and animals, ratified by over 180 countries. It is also the opening day of Kyoto’s Gion Matsuri, in Japan, one of that country’s most famous festivals, that spans the entire month of July. Its roots date back to 869 when the people of Kyoto held a festival to pray for respite from a plague that had befallen the city.

This would have been Princess Diana’s 64th Gregorian birthday. Had she lived, and not divorced Charles, she would have been the Queen of England by now.

4 Kib’ (July 2nd) – a “defining” type of energy often associated with the restoration of order; often manifesting as a “getting down to business” type of force.

Indeed, there will be considerable “getting down to business” in Dharamsala, the seat of the Tibetan Government-in-Exile, at this time at the start of a major three-day conference that will bring together senior Buddhist monks, scholars, and representatives from various global Buddhist traditions to review Tibetan reincarnation traditions and discuss the Dalai Lama’s succession plans. His 90th birthday is on July 6th.

In 1922 this 4 Kib’ energy was in place when the treaty was signed for the formation of the USSR, aka the Soviet Union. In 1947 (Nov. 29th) the UN passed a resolution (Resolution 181) under this energy influence to divide Palestine into Arab and Jewish states, with Jerusalem as an internationalized city. And in 1979 this was the influence in place when the Egypt-Israel Peace Treaty was signed after intense negotiations the year before (the 1978 Camp David Accords). After all the effort, over decades, to try to bring peace to that region it is unfathomable that the situation has devolved so dramatically, to the point of almost total collapse. Bob Woodward’s book titled “War”, in which he “tells the revelatory, behind-the-scenes story of three wars—Ukraine, the Middle East and the struggle for the American Presidency” was released one cycle ago. While hope remains that historicans such as Bob Woodward can help people learn from past mistakes, the need for solutions to such long simmering issues has never been more pressing.

As this is World UFO Day, with its goal of raising awareness about “the undoubted existence of UFOs”, whatever they are, there are many who may be looking to the skies about this time, for assistance from “elsewhere” to help bumbling (and often “clueless”) earthlings sort out the monumental messes that they have created.

5 Kab’an (July 3rd) – a “pivotal” type of energy associated with evolutionary movement, coinciding at this time with the official start of the “dog days of summer” as Sirius rises with the sun and a period of particularly hot, and often humid, weather sets in. This is the second day of that three-day Buddhist conference in Dharamsala.

Note the Dalai Lama’s comments on “Living a Meaningful Life”, from one cycle ago (last October, just before the US election) when he spoke about the importance of compassion. As he pointed out, “everyone has every right to have a successful life, a happy life”. But, he observed, in the affluent west, people think that success means “more prosperity, more money, more fame, more power”. But, he emphasized, those who have such things are often very unhappy, and are often very lonely, suspicious, filled with doubt, restless. Whereas those with minimum requirements are often very happy and can face difficulties more easily. His central message, now needing to be heard more than ever, was:

We should not forget or neglect our inner value, and the importance of human compassion.

This is also the Maya birth energy of Sam Cox, known as Mr. Doodle, the illustrator and artist who has gained international recognition for covering buildings with monochromatic doodles. How is manages to live in his own house with so much “movement” around him is a mystery.

6 Etz’nab’ (July 4th) – a “six directions”, “knife edge” type of energy often associated with decisiveness and even “separation” that can often be quite “sparkly” and attention-getting, on the third and final day of that three-day Buddhist conference in Dharamsala. On this day it is expected that the Dalai Lama will provide long awaited clarity on the future of the Tibetan reincarnation tradition and if he intends to return through reincarnation, and if so – where will that be? He had previously ruled out being reborn in Tibet, while it is under Communist control, since the system flatly rejects the idea of reincarnation. He has stated earlier that he would choose India or somewhere else in the free world for his rebirth, so on this day he will likely affirm this idea. It has been reported that China is concerned about what he will say, and millions will be paying close attention to his message, as “tradition, politics, and spirituality” intersect in a a pivotal moment for the future of Tibetan Buddhism. His 90th birthday is on July 6th.

Normally there would be widespread Fourth-of-July Independence day celebrations in the U.S. on this day, but this year there is nothing “normal” about what is happening in the U.S., as personal and societal freedoms are being rapidly eroded by the dumpster and his administration. Instead of celebrations, this will be another day of massive protests, at the start of a weekend during which people across the US will hold a huge variety of Free America events, which will include “rallies, marches, block parties, banner drops, street parades, art builds, backyard BBQs, and dance protests”. The slogan is:

Your freedom. Your people. Your rebellion.

On Canada this is the opening day for the Calgary Stampede, billed as “the greatest outdoor show on Earth”.

This is the launch date for a 5,800 acre “Hypergrid” project by Fermi America, in Amarillo, Texas, which aims to build the largest energy and data complex of its kind powered by nuclear energy, natural gas, and solar energy. It is anticipated that this will become the world’s largest energy-driven Artificial Intelligence complex.

In 1865 this was the energy in place at the time of President Abraham Lincoln’s interment in Springfield, Illinois after a 3-week series of events that included his funeral train “tour” from Washington, D.C. to Springfield. The other important event at that time was the ending of all Confederate resistance east of the Mississippi River, as the Civil War was winding down. Note also that the attempted assassination of President Gerald Ford occurred under the influence of 6 Etz’nab’ in 1975.

7 Kawak (July 5th) – “self-generating storm”, an energy that could bring intense weather or potentially manifest as a “storm of compassion” or a “storm of passion” oriented around a cause. On this day a Long Life Offering Ceremony will be held for the Dalai Lama in Dharamsala, on the eve of his 90th birthday.

This is also Venezuela’s Independence Day (Cinco de Julio) and Armed Forces Day, on the 214th anniversary of its declaration of autonomy from Spanish rule. (Venezuela became the first independent country in South America. Unfortunately, the dispute over the leadership of that country continues as Venezuela’s socialist party has continued to hold onto power.)

In May of 1865 this was the energy in place when the Confederate government in the US was offically dissolved, prior to the final surrender of Confederate forces.

8 Ajaw (July 6th) – the “resurrection” of the sun and “enlightenment”, on the Dalai Lama’s 90th Gregorian birthday. By this time he will have delivered his message about his succession.

Often this tends to be quite a “fiery” energy, as seen when this energy was in place in 2017, the day when the sun unleashed two powerful X-class solar flares, with the second being the most powerful in more than a decade, resulting in a “wide area of blackouts” over the sunlit side of Earth. As the sun is going through solar maximum, at the peak of Solar Cycle 25, it is highly possible that more flares could manifest at this time, as they did during the last trecena (the Ajaw trecena).

In Rio de Janeiro this marks the start of the 2025 BRICS Summit, the 17th BRICS summit, hosted by Brazil’s President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva. India’s Prime Minister Modi will be in attendance, but Chinese President Xi Jinping will not attend (for the first time in 12 years). Russia is sending Foreign Minister Lavrov. The theme for the summit is “Strengthening Global South Cooperation for More Inclusive and Sustainable Governance”.

The evening brings forth Kupala Night in parts of Ukraine and western Slavic regions. This has traditionally been a night of dancing, tree decorating, bonfires, special foods, and other forms of celebration associated with the longest day and shortest night of the year. It is one of the biggest summer celebrational events in many European countries, symbolic of the birth of the summer sun (Kupalo), at which time “impure forces” are burned in ritual bonfires. Water, fire, and herbs all play an important role in the rituals and celebrations at this time. This symbolic “birth” of the summer sun ties in with the ancient idea of fire having “fertilizing power” – an idea that can also be found in ancient Mesoamerica. It was thought that jumping over a bonfire would help to secure good fortune. Note that some sources list this as having taken place on June 21st, as some regions hold to the Julian date for this event while some have converted to the Gregorian date.

9 Imix (July 7th) – “immortal” birth/the realm of all potential, a force that could have far reaching and long-lasting influence.

Nine Imix was the energy in place in 2015 when NASA released the first image of Earth from its Deep Space Climate Observatory satellite, showing Earth from one million miles away. In 2022 this energy was in place when NASA released photos of a blazing gas giant planet shrouded in dusty red clouds beyond our solar system- the first images of an exoplanet using infrared light. It was seen as as historic moment for astronomy. That was the day when President Biden addressed the nation and warned that US democracy was imperiled by Dmp and MAGA extremists.

One cycle later, in 2023, President Joe Biden announced his support for Ukraine’s use of advanced fighter jets, including American-made F-16s, to bolster Ukraine’s defences against Russian aggression. President Volodymyr Zelensky hailed the move as an “historic decision” as this approval helped to clear the way for other nations to send their existing stocks of F-16s to Ukraine, which have helped Ukraine significantly. This energy is now marking Day 1230 of the Russia-Ukraine war.

This is also World Chocolate Day, Japan’s Star Festival (Tanabata) Day, and rock legend Ringo Starr’s 85th birthday. Happy Birthday Ringo!

This is the Maya birth energy of Ketanji Brown Jackson, who became a US Supreme Court Judge in 2022. She has had her work cut out for her, as she has been one of the voices of reason and sanity on a supreme court that so often capitulated towards the whims of the dumpster.

10 Ik’ (July 8th) – “foundational wind/breath/spirit” – an energy highly aligned with Source and with things pertaining to the air, to communication, and to things of a spiritual nature, coinciding with the “seating” of the Maya month known as the Xul, symbolized by both a dog and a baby jaguar, but also traditionally associated with Kukulcan (known as Quetzalcoatl to the Aztec), the great Feathered Serpent, who was thought to descend from the heavens to collect offerings at the end of this Maya month. By extension, the combination of these symbols also suggests that the Classic Maya “Hero Twins” are also aligned with this month. As Xul can also translate as “end”, it might be interesting to see what kind of “endings” might be coming into view as this month-related (Xul) energy runs through to July 27th.

On this day King Charles will be hosting Emmanuel Macron and his wife Brigitte on a state visit to the UK (July 8-19).

This marks five cycles since President Biden announced an historic $2.3tn infrastructure plan, originally known as the American Jobs Plan, that was seen as “a once in a generation spending plan” that included more than $600bn for such things as modernizing roads, repairing bridges, and tackling climate change. After much debate, part of that plan was passed and signed into law in 2021. What an enormous contrast to the “huge, ugly” bill that the dumpster has been trying to push through Congress – a bill that involves enormous cuts to things such as Medicare, Medicaid, and food assistance for the American people, and enormous cuts to environmental protections, while appropriating large funding increases for immigration and customs enforcement and providing huge tax cuts for the wealthy.

11 Ak’b’al (July 9th) – “inspirational night” or “inspirational temple of mysteries”, a force often aligned with deep thought – or even “blackness”, but also a good day to enjoy the sanctuary of home or temple, or to give “deep thought” to something of an inspirational nature.

This is the start of the 116th NAACP National Convention in Charlotte, NC. Note that this year the NAACP did not invite the dumpster to its national convention, marking the first time in its 116-year history that the prominent civil rights organization has opted to exclude a sitting president.

This is the Maya birth energy of AI “godfather” Geoffrey Hinton, who quit his job in early May, 2023. Acknowledging that he was now regretting his work, Hinton warned about the growing dangers from developments in this field. This was followed shortly thereafter, on the last day of the Ajaw trecena last May, by warnings from public health professionals from the UK, US, Australia, Costa Rica and Malaysia, that AI could harm the health of millions and pose an existential threat to humanity, as they called for a halt to the development of artificial general intelligence until it is regulated. For his work in this field Geoffrey Hinton won the 2024 Nobel Prize in Physics.

This is also Abraham Lincoln’s Maya birth energy, which would have been in place in 1865 just 5 days after his interment.

12 K’an (July 10th) – a “dedicated” type of energy often associated with youthful vitality and the joyful celebration of life’s bounties, coinciding at this time with the Full Buck Moon, at a time when the antlers of male deer are in full-growth mode. It is also known as the Feather Moulting Moon (Cree) and Salmon Moon (Tlingit).

This is the 85th Gregorian anniversary of the start of the horrendous Battle of Britain.

13 Chikchan (July 11th) – “transformational lifeforce”; an intense and often impassioned energy, now coinciding with the 36th anniversary of World Population Day, which was established through the United Nations Development Program in 1989 when the world’s population was considerably less than it is now. It had reached 5 billion two years earlier, and is now over 8.2 billion.

This marks one cycle exactly since a full-page ad styled open letter, funded by the Anti-Psychopath Pac – a political action that has questioned Trump’s mental fitness for office – was published on this day in the New York Times. The letter, signed by 233 mental health professionals, warned that the dumpster is dangerous because of “his symptoms of severe, untreatable personality disorder – malignant narcissism”, which makes him not only “grossly unfit for leadership” but also “an existential threat to democracy”. The letter stated that they felt that they had “a desperate duty” to warn [their] fellow citizens of the “imminent catastrophic public danger” (associated with the possibility of electing him) before it’s too late.”

They argued that the disorder they discerned in Trump “makes him deceitful, destructive, deluded, and dangerous”. The world has now seen how right they were – and note that they also warned that his mental state “will only get worse over time, grossly degrading his already impaired judgment, impulse control, memory, attention, reality testing, and capacity to process information, while dramatically exacerbating the symptoms of his toxic personality disorder . . . . malignant narcissists have been history’s most grandiose, paranoid, and murderous leaders. Inevitably, they escalate until they are completely out of control, ultimately destroying themselves and the nations they lead.” It appear that the dumpster is not alone in this, as the lunatic who has been destroying Gaza is certainly a cohort. Scarey stuff!!

On the first day of 1970 this was the energy in place when the National Environmental Policy Act was signed into law in the US, requiring federal agencies to assess the environmental effects of their proposed actions prior to making decisions. Under the current administration that is yet another thing that is being ignored, adding to the peril that so many are facing on a multitude of fronts.
