Maya Count Of Days Horoscope

Maya Calendar Energies At Work In The World

This trecena opens with the world in a state of shock and profound disbelief as it becomes evident that a decisive percentage of American citizens made the choice to elect as their next president a convicted felon, proven to be a fraudster, rapist, misogynist, xenophobe, serial liar, insurrectionist, and self-proclaimed admirer of cruel autocrats; someone who has indicated that he wants to trash the US health care system, destabilize the education system, block or undo civil liberties, disregard or override the US constitution, deport millions of people, punish enemies, and become a “dictator on day one”. They have chosen to re-elect someone who has been impeached twice – a vulgarian who has been highly disrespectful of long held values and traditions, who has trampled over every norm of decency, respect, and rationality, and proven, time and time again, to be the most unfit and unstable person to ever sit behind the resolute desk. Not only will he be the oldest person ever elected for this position, but also the most demonstrably unqualified to be in a position of leadership, particularly on the world stage. The situation is bizarre, surreal, and terrifying on many levels, as it also marks the first time a convicted felon and criminal defendant has been elected to that country’s highest office, and concerned citizens both within the U.S. and worldwide are questioning how that could possibly have happened. And then there is his close association with Putin . . .

The fact that the results of this election are coming to light during this Kawak trecena brings to mind many devastating events that unfolded over the course of this trecena in 2005, which began with severe storms in the US Northeast, and were followed by a huge geomagnetic storm, a major typhoon in Taiwan, and the formation and unleashing of Hurricane Katrina, the monstrous Cat. 5 cyclonic force that took the lives of nearly 1400 people and inflicted some $125 billion in damage on the infrastructure of New Orleans.

As a result of this election the world is now on “hurricane watch”, bracing for the storms that lie ahead, not only for this trecena, but for the next four years, and beyond.

Lest people have forgotten, note that exactly 10 cycles ago (2600 days), there was a “firestorm” at the United Nations on the first day of this trecena in 2017 when North Korea’s foreign minister told the General Assembly that the dumpster’s comments a few days earlier, when he delivered an unhinged speech during which he vowed to “totally destroy” North Korea if it threatens the US, constituted a Declaration of War against North Korea. The incident was seen as the “closest we’ve come to a nuclear crisis” since the Cuban missile crisis.

But then one cycle after that, in June of 2018, came the “historic” meeting between Trump and North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un in Singapore, at which time the dumpster lavished effusive, “syrupy” praise on that dictator. Amazingly, a second meeting between Agent Orange and the North Korean dictator also took place under the influence of One Kawak, this time in Hanoi in early 2019. That was the monumental day when Michael Cohen testified in an open hearing before the House Oversight and Reform Committee during which he accused Trump of being “a racist, a conman and a cheat” and implied that he was involved in federal crimes while in office. This was seen as a “delicate and pivotal moment in history” as Cohen “unlocked the door” and shed light on a wide range of fraudulent activities and wrongdoings associated with the dumpster that have subsequently led to various trials and convictions. Just one cycle after that hearing, several of Trump’s associates were convicted of crimes, and the first impeachment hearings were underway.

Two cycles ago, in June of 2023, the various investigative efforts culminated in the dumpster offically becoming “defendant Trump”, as the US justice system clicked in with a torrent of actions. Special Counsel Jack Smith announced a 37-count indictment against him relating to the “wilful retention of national defence information under the Espionage Act”, which was followed by the dumpster’s arraignment in Miami. At the same time the go-ahead was given for E. Jean Carroll to pursue her defamation case against him (which she won). So, given all this, what can we expect as we fortify for the forthcoming changes?

Firstly, let’s keep in mind that this is a storm-related period, so get ready for thunderstorms and strong winds, and watch out for flooding and potential lightning strikes. With Hurricane Rafael now churning at Cat. 3 strength in the Gulf of Mexico, Cuba is already dealing with the impact of this storm, which arrived on the heels of an earlier one that knocked out their power grid.

Traditionally this was seen as a time frame that was under the auspices of Tláloc, the Aztec god of rain (known as Chac to the Maya). As has been seen before, Chac often announces his presence at the start of this period in dramatic, sometimes highly tempestuous ways, as happened three cycles ago, in September of 2022, when Hurricane Fiona brought devastation to the Dominican Republic and then lashed Puerto Rico, as Typhoon Nanmadol pounded Japan with high winds and torrential rains, and a 7.5 earthquake shook western Mexico.

Adaptation of the Kawak trecena from the pre-Columbian Codex Borgia by artist Richard Balthazar (used with permission). The first day (One Kawak or “One Storm”) is represented by the little head of Tlaloc (equivalent to the Maya rain god Chac) at the bottom right corner (within the border). Each of the remaining days proceed around the edge from there towards the left, ending with 13 Chuwen (Monkey), depicted as the head of a monkey, at the upper left corner. In the centre on the right is Tlaloc, the Aztec god of rains and storms, the chief patron of this trecena. This is a time frame that has the potential to be benevolent, but these energies can also be volatile and changeable, and even very “stormy”. Click here for an overview of Richard’s various other versions of the same trecena.

Two cycles ago the powerful and erratic Cyclone Biparjay, that traversed almost this entire time frame, brought widespread destruction to Pakistan and many parts of India. Back in 2014 this Kawak trecena brought forth “the worst snowstorm in recorded history” in the New York area, dumping nearly 8 feet of snow in the Buffalo region. And, as noted above, this was the period during which Hurricane Katrina inundated New Orleans in 2005, during the last three days of this time frame. As noted below, 11 Muluk, an intense water-related force that comes in near the end of this trecena, is particularly prone to “major water-related” events.

But as much as this can manifest in very literal ways, as seen in events associated with clouds, lightning, thunder, and heavy rainfall, events during this Kawak trecena can manifest in a variety of ways, often precipitating compassion or strong emotion, as seen in September of 2022 at the time of Queen Elizabeth II’s state funeral on the first day of this period, exactly two cycles after Prince Phillip’s funeral that took place during the height of the pandemic. Is is “mere coincidence” that Diana, Princess of Wales, was born under the same energy influence, in 1961?

Looking back, we see that the catalyzation process triggered by these intense energies can take many forms. In 1944, for example, this trecena brought forth the greatest amphibious invasion in history, on a day now referred to as D-Day, as allied forces landed in Normandy on the life-oriented mid-point of this trecena, marking the beginning of European liberation.

In 2017 President Obama delivered his poignant farewell address as president on the third day of this period, as the world waited in fear of the dark “Maga” storms that were looming on the horizon. In the summer of 1963 this trecena had triggered the first national integrated civil rights march in U.S. history. In 2022 the trial related to the death of George Floyd, that took place during this trecena, became a pivotal episode related to the Black Lives Matter movement. These kinds of deeply emotional events are the kinds of matters that can lead to significant change.

Indeed, significant change (often water-related) often does happen during this time frame, as seen when the Nova Kakhovka dam on the Dnipro River in Ukraine was destroyed by occupying Russian forces two cycles ago. Hundreds of thousands of people were severely affected by the inundation of waters from that reservoir. Even now the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant (ZNPP), which relied on water from the reservoir behind the dam, is still in critical danger of over-heating as a result of that situation. At that time the dumpster’s sycophants in the US House were holding up funding for Ukraine, so Ukrainian forces were unable at that time to push forward with their counteroffensive in the war with Russia. Who knows what the re-relection of the dumpster, so closely aligned with Putin, will mean with regard to Ukraine. And if he is also aligned with the leadership of Israel what will that mean for Gaza and the Middle East overall?

At the moment, no one can answer these questions, so all we can do is buckle up, conserve our strength, and prepare in any way we can for what lies ahead. As civil rights lawyer Sherrilyn Ifill reminds us, we must also learn to protect ourselves from anything that may try to assault our spirits, anything that may try to weaken or exhaust us. We must remember to “hold onto the things that refresh our spirits – time with family, music, art, nature, hobbies, food. We must protect our core.”.

Civil rights lawyer Sherrilyn Ifill, Nov. 6, 2024

Here are the energies that are coming into place:

One Kawak (Nov. 7th) – the “initiation” of a “catalytic storm”, which often manifests as a “storm of emotion”, often bringing “floods of tears”. With this being the day after most of the results of US presidential election were made known, those tears will surely be flowing as people try to make sense of what has happened. While many will be involved in celebration, many will be trying to come to terms with what these results will mean for those concerned about women’s rights, civil rights on many levels, freedom, and democracy itself.

Currently this is UNESCO’s International Day Against Violence and Bullying at School, a day that can provide a strong reminder that it is time to tone down the rhetoric. This is also National Hug-a-Bear Day, a good time to give a bear hug to all those who may need extra confort at this time. Intriguingly, this is the 52nd Gregorian anniversary of the day when Joe Biden first defeated an older, more established, candidate in Delaware, to win the race for the US Senate. That was the day when Richard Nixon was re-elected as U.S. president. (His wrongdoings caught up with him shortly thereafter and he had to resign less than 2 years later.)

Back in 2017 this was the energy in place when Americans in Puerto Rico were begging for federal aid as they faced a growing humanitarian crisis due to lack of adequate food, water, power, and fuel after being hit by Hurricane Maria. Back then Trump’s response was to highlight the island’s “massive debt”, blame the people for their own misfortune, and withhold greatly needed aid. In 2019 this was the energy in place at the time of Michael Cohen’s hearing before the House Oversight and Reform Committee when he “unlocked the door” and shed light on a wide range of fraudulent activities and wrongdoings associated with the dumpster, for which the latter has been subsequently investigated, charged, and convicted. With regard to the hush money case, he is due to be sentenced with regard to that in less than three weeks, after being found guilty of massive fraud. But the question now is: will he actually be sentenced? Other trials are still pending, but will not be able to be prosecuted until after he leaves the presidency. . . if he ever does.

At this time this storm-related energy marks two cycles since Russia’s destruction of the Nova Kakhovka dam on the Dnipro River in Ukraine, which released a massive flood of water from the reservoir, that flooded dozens of villages and parts of the city of Kherson. Ukraine’s president Volodymyr Zelenskyy condemned this destruction as “an environmental bomb of mass destruction”, and vowed that Ukrainians would fight on to completely liberate their country from Russian occupiers.

One cycle before that, all eyes were on London as hundreds of heads of state and foreign dignitaries gathered inside Westminster Abbey for Queen Elizabeth II’s state funeral, to say farewell to the UK’s longest reigning monarch, which took place exactly two cycles after the funeral in April of 2021 for Prince Philip at Windsor Castle. One Kawak is also the Maya Calendar birth energy of Diana, Princess of Wales.

Keep in mind that this is a “storm” related energy, at the beginning of this storm-related trecena, so – quite literally – storms and heavy rains often come in at this time, as happened one cycle ago when California was inundated. With Hurricane Rafael currently churning in the Caribbean, after hitting Cuba the day before, there is a possibility that it could impact coastal areas along the Gulf.

2 Ajaw (Nov. 8th) – a dynamic type of energy aligned with the full sun, full power, and the idea of “enlightenment”, coinciding with Indigenous Veterans Day in Canada, at the beginning of several days of remembrance relating to various wars.

This is also marking four cycles since five of the world’s most powerful nations agreed that “a nuclear war cannot be won and must never be fought” in a rare joint pledge to reduce the risk of such a conflict ever starting. The pledge, called Joint Statement of the Leaders of the Five Nuclear-Weapon States on Preventing Nuclear War and Avoiding Arms Races, was signed by the US, Russia, China, the UK, and France, the five nuclear weapons states recognised by the 1968 Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) who are also the five permanent members of the UN security council. They are known as the P5 or the N5. Problematically, however, things have changed consideraly since then, as North Korea has been playing with fire in this regard.

On the longevity and “survivor” front, this is Eileen Kramer’s 110th birthday. This amazing woman is an Australian dancer/artist who had been active in the arts for over 80 years. Happy birthday Eileen.

It has now been one cycle since the Intuitive Machines’, IM-1 “Odysseus” lander, with its five robotic payloads, set down at the lunar south pole. It was the first US lunar touchdown in 52 years (since the final Apollo crewed moon mission in 1972), and the first by a private company. This was also the first journey to the moon’s surface under NASA’s Artemis moon program.

3 Imix (Nov. 9th) – the “activation” of “birth” or the realm of all potential, as the results of the U.S. presidential election continue to be the focus of attention.

It has now been one cycle since the deadline given by the International Court of Justice for the Israeli government to report on what it has done to comply with the six orders the court issued, including one relating to ending incitement to genocide and another requiring immediate steps to improve the supply of humanitarian aid to Gaza. And yet, with Gaza still being pulverized and the Middle East seemingly on the brink of a full-scale war, who is holding Israel to account?

The last time this was in place President Biden announced over 500 new sanctions against Russia, partly to “hold Russia accountable” for what happened to Alexei Navalny, Putin’s greatest critic, who died suddenly last year in a Russian prison. Three cycles ago both President Biden and Ukraine’s President Zelenskyy gave speeches at the UN, with a focus on war crimes perpetuated by Russia, at the same time as Putin was escalating his war against Ukraine. That was taking place at the same time as Letitia James, New York State’s attorney general, filed a 222 page lawsuit against the dumpster, his children, and his family real estate business, accusing them of a sweeping pattern of fraud. When the trial concluded just over one cycle ago he was required to pay over $450 million in fines.

4 Ik’ (Nov. 10th) – the “defining” of wind/breath/spirit; an important energy associated with communication, symbolized by the mythological connection between the sun and the wind oriented deity known as Quetzalcoatl/Feathered Serpent. This is one of the five energies at the centre of the Aztec Sun Stone. It is also the birth energy of Nahui Ehécatl (4 Wind aka 4 Ik’), one of the patrons of this time frame.

World Science Day 2024. Photo credit: UNESCO/Ruhi Chitre

This is UNESCO’s World Science day for Peace and Development, which highlights the work of scientists and their relevance to daily life on this planet, with climate change still of particular concern. This year’s theme is “Why Science Matters – Engaging Minds and Empowering Futures”.

In Peru, the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit begins on this day, which runs through until Nov. 16th.

In the UK this is Remembrance Day Sunday when members of the Royal Family, political leaders, and current and ex-members of the Armed Forces join World War veterans at the Cenotaph memorial for wreath-laying and a ceremony of remembrance. In Canada this is the start of Métis Week that runs to Nov. 16th.

This marks four cycles since US Attorney General Merrick Garland affirmed, in January of 2022, that the US Justice Department was committed to defending democracy and to holding all perpetrators of the January 6th insurrection, at any level, accountable under law — whether they were present that day or were otherwise criminally responsible for the assault on democracy. As he put it, “We will follow the facts wherever they lead.” And seemingly, right on schedule, two cycles after that announcement, Special Counsel Jack Smith announced the 37-count indictment against Trump pertaining to the squirrelling away of federal documents, charging him with the “wilful retention of national defence information under the Espionage Act”. That was two cycles ago, and although the case was dismissed by the judge on a questionable technicality, the case is now under appeal. However, it would certainly not be revived any time soon with the dumpster back in office.

5 Ak’b’al (Nov. 11th) – the “pinpointing” of deep esoteric mysteries (or even “darkness”), an energy that could also be seen as a “targeting” type of energy associated with “House”, as was in place early in 2019 when the House Judiciary Committee in the U.S. formally began gathering proof of obstruction of justice, corruption, and abuses of power with regard to the dumpster’s administration. Many of those abuses are still the subjects of on-going investigations and trials.

Four cycles ago this was in place at the time of the release of The Insurrection Index that contains 1,404 records of people in positions of trust who acted as accomplices in Trump’s attempt to overturn the 2020 election, by either participating directly in the insurrection or by spreading the “big lie” that the vote count had been rigged. Many of those people have been indicted and are still awaiting trial, but again unlikely to go to trial under his administration.

Currently this is the opening of the 2-day Paris Peace Forum at the historic Palais de Chaillot in Paris, with this year’s theme being: “Wanted: A Functioning Global Order”.

Paris Peace Forum Nov. 11-12

It is also the opening day for COP29, the UN’s Climate Change Conference of the Parties, in Baku, Azerbaijan (to Nov. 22nd). On May 5th the host country’s top national security adviser said that the climate summit, which 196 governments are expected to attend, could become an engine for peace, by finding common ground among countries in the urgent need to tackle global warming. But again – the role of the US in this regard is now questionable, given the results of this election.

Click here for an overview of the significance of this summit.

This is also Remembrance Day (the 105th after WWI) in Canada and the Commonwealth, and several other countries, and Veterans’ Day in the U.S. The No Stone Left Alone Memorial project is one highly meaningful avenue for helping young people to appreciate the significance of this day. In parts of Germany and in several other European countries this day is celebrated as St. Martin’s Day (Martinmas, aka Old Hallowe’en), traditionally a harvest feast day to commemorate the end of the agrarian year.

In China this is Singles’ Day (or Double 11), a celebration for singles, generally celebrated through games, entertainment, and ecommerce shopping – now seen as the world’s biggest shopping celebration, the “most lucrative online shopping day in the world”.

In 2005 this was the energy in place when the weather system that turned into Hurricane Katrina formed as a Tropical Depression.

6 K’an (Nov. 12th) – a “six directions” type of energy aligned with “youthful vitality”, coinciding at this time of the North Taurids Meteor Shower

In 2019 this was the energy in place at the time of the publication of A Warning, which offered “an unprecedented behind-the-scenes portrait of the Trump presidency”, written by someone who identified himself as part of the “Resistance Inside the Trump Administration”. This took place at the same time as “stormy” impeachment hearings were underway over the dumpster’s attempt to coerce the president of Ukraine.

Currently this is the day when Judge Juan Merchan is scheduled to announce his decision regarding the Supreme Court’s immunity ruling in the hush money/ falsification of records case (on whether or not the case should be dismissed), with sentencing due to proceed on Nov. 26th. This is the case in which the dumpster was found guilty of felony falsification of business records to hide his former lawyer Michael Cohen’s $130,000 payment to adult film actor and producer Stormy Daniels for her silence before the 2016 election.

In 2005 this was the energy that turned Katrina into a Tropical Storm (pre-hurricane) at the same time as an extreme solar geomagnetic storm was triggered.

7 Chikchan (Nov. 13th) – a self-generating Liberation/Lifeforce type of energy, seen traditionally as the daysign of Chicomecóatl, the Aztec Goddess of agriculture (especially maize) which was representative of the more positive aspects of this time frame, with its potential for providing conditions that are favorable for bringing forth nourishment. However, this can also be an intense energy, as seen in 1985 when a devastating 8.1 earthquake struck Mexico City under this influence, collapsing over 400 buildings and killing at least 5,000 people.

World Kindness day is Nov. 13th

This is an energy that can also quickly generate strong winds, as it did in September of 2022 when thousands of people were evacuated as Cat. 5 Super Typhoon Noru battered the Philippines eastern islands with gusts of up to 195 km/hr (125mph) after an “explosive intensification”.

In 1944 the greatest amphibious assault in history, known as D-Day, took place under this influence, marking the beginning of European liberation near the end of World War II.

Currently this is World Kindness Day, something greatly needed.

8 Kimi (Nov. 14th) – a “resurrection” type of energy associated with “death” or “absolute spiritual foundations”, now marking two cycles exactly since Trump was arraigned in court in Miami on charges relating to his hoarding of classified government documents. This was the first-ever federal indictment of a former president. One cycle ago he was also under indictment in New York for the hush-money scheme, with the sentencing in that case due on Nov. 26th.

Currently this is World Diabetes Day, with this year’s theme being “Diabetes and Well-Being”, and Children’s Day in India, a special day for increasing awareness of the rights, care, and education of children. In Northern India this is a celebrational day that commemorates Lord Krishna’s defeat of Indra, the god of thunder and rain. Food will be piled high in temples as offerings are made to Krishna. This is also the day when Taylor Swift begins her Eras show in Toronto.

9 Manik’ (Nov. 15th) – an “outwardly projecting” type of energy associated with harmonization and reciprocity, but sometimes with a “sacrificial” aspect, coinciding at this time with the Full Beaver Moon, the final Supermoon of 2024, when the moon appears 14% bigger and 30% brighter at its closest point to Earth. This is the first day of the two-day APEC Peru summit, which will be attended by over 20 world leaders, including China’s Xi Jinping and President Joe Biden (this will be Biden’s final APEC summit).

This was the Maya calendar energy in place in 1963 when Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. gave his memorable “I Have a Dream” speech at the Lincoln Memorial during the first national integrated civil rights march in the U.S., the largest civil rights rally in U.S. history.

At this time this energy is also marking the 55th Gregorian anniversary of the huge Moratorium march to end the Vietnam War that took place in Washington, DC in 1969. It is also King Charles’s 76th birthday.

Arrangements of flowers, incense sticks and candles for Loy Krathong, Thailand, 2008. Photo: Public domain via Wikimedia Commons

This is the start of the traditional two-day Loy Krathong (Festival of Lights) and Yi Peng (sky lantern) celebrations across Thailand when purification rituals take place to float away bad luck while paying respect to the goddess of water. For Loy Krathong small containers containing candles, incense sticks, and flowers are floated on bodies of water to symbolize the letting go of past mistakes and negative thoughts. The purpose of Loy Krathong is to enlighten the mind and bring good fortune. Loy = “to float” and krathong = “container”.

10 Lamat (Nov. 16th) “foundational bright star” – a fundamental “signalling” type of energy which also has a tendency to “kick up a storm”, as many severe storms have been in effect under this influence. Currently this is UNESCO’s International Day for Tolerance and also Guinness World Record Day. In Canada this day is commemorated by the Métis Nation as Louis Riel Day, as it is a Gregorian anniversary of Métis leader Riel’s wrongful execution in 1885. Celebrations of Métis culture now coincide with this date. This is also the 33rd Gregorian anniversary of the signing into law of the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act.

In 1918 this was the energy in place when the Representation of the People Act came into effect that extended the vote to 8.4 million women in the UK over the age of 30.

11 Muluk (Nov. 17th) – the “change” in conjunction with “water” energy that has brought forth many very intense water related events in the past, such as Hurricane Katrina in 2005. In 2017 this was in place when the fast moving Hurricane Nate reached hurricane strength in the Gulf of Mexico, before making landfall near the Mississippi Delta two days later. In Nov. 2019, this 11 Muluk energy brought storms of “biblical proportions” that swept through France, Greece, and Italy, triggering landslides, flash floods, and black-outs. Six cycles ago there were widespread floods in Kerala, India at the same time as a devastating derecho ripped through Iowa.

Five cycles ago Super Typhoon Surigae explosively intensified into a bomb cyclone under this influence, near the Aleutian Islands, and four cycles ago this energy brought a gargantuan “atmospheric river” to B.C., which resulted in devastating flooding. Three cycles ago, in September of 2022, Hurricane Ian tracked across central Florida, leaving a trail of destruction, at the same time as Typhoon Noru brought heavy rains and thunderstorms to Thailand. And two cycles ago (last year) millions of people across India and Pakistan were dealing with the effects of Cyclone Biparjoy. This is definitely not an energy to be trifled with.

Currently this is coinciding with the Leonids Meteor Shower (overnight to the next day).

Niagara Winter Festival of Lights runs from Nov. 16, 2024-Jan. 5, 2025

12 Ok (Nov. 18th) – a “grouping together” energy associated with love, warmth, and guidance – and sometimes even fire, coinciding at this time with the start of the two-day G20 meeting of world leaders in Rio de Janiero, who will have their work cut out for them.

This is also the opening day for the 42nd annual Winter Festival of Lights in Niagara, called the “Longest Festival in the World”, that runs through to Jan. 5th.

13 Chuwen (Nov. 19th) – “transformational monkey” or “transformational play”, an intense and highly creative “time weaving” type of energy, sometimes referred to as “Thirteen Threads”; a powerfully innovative type of force traditionally aligned with play, creativity, “time-weaving”, and even (at times) intense “trickery”. This is the kind of energy that can sometimes prompt one into thinking differently or trying out new possibilities, as was in place on Jan. 20th, 2017 at the time of Trump’s inauguration amid a massive demonstration of resistance by some 60 large protest groups. That was the same day as New York’s Department of Financial Services fined Deutsche Bank $425 million for its involvement in a money-laundering scheme using mirror-trading that improperly shifted $10 million out of Russia. That was the same bank that had loaned millions to the dumpster.

One cycle ago when this was in place (earlier this year), the US Supreme Court decided the “eligibility” issue with regard to the presidential election by ruling that Trump could remain on the ballot, overturning a 4-3 ruling by the Colorado Supreme Court that had stated that he could not run because he had engaged in insurrection. That day was to be the start date for the dumpster’s trial in the DC federal insurrection/ election subversion case (re Jan. 6th). However, that date was postponed, and is now awaiting a Supreme Court ruling. And now the question could be asked: Will that case EVER go to trial?

Four cycles ago this energy brought forth an enormous eight-minute underwater eruption of the Hunga Tonga-Ha’apai volcano that was so violent it could be heard as “loud thunder” in Fiji, 800 km away, and in some cases it was “heard and felt” more than 2,000 km away. A sonic boom could be heard as far away as Alaska.

Currently this is International Men’s Day, with this year’s theme being “Men’s Health Champions”. It is also the release day for the first part of Cher’s memoir, titled Cher:The Memoir, Part One, described by her publisher as ““a life too immense for only one book”.
