“Enough is Enough” – this was heard several times over the past few days by media commentators and members of the judiciary system who are now calling for definitive actions to be taken to curtain the vile and incessant ramblings of the madman in the US who has been trying to re-take control of the government. As Judge Michael Luttig put it just two days ago: “The Nation is witnessing the determined delegitimization of both its Federal and State judiciaries and the systematic dismantling of its system of justice and Rule of Law by a single man – the former President of the United States.” The time is long overdue for action, and this particular trecena is perfectly positioned to be highly influential in terms of sparking the kinds of actions that may be required to deal with this volatile situation, and others. Think of it as drawing a line in the sand, the line that says “the buck stops here”!

Three cycles ago (February of 2022) it seemed as though we were reaching a tipping point, with the lunacy of right-wing conspiracy theorists promulgating major havoc in the US. At that time Russia was poised to invade Ukraine. Two cycles ago, in November of 2022, the midterm elections in the U.S. brought forth a change in the balance of power in the US House of Representatives, not long after a change in leadership came about in Brazil, in the early days of this time frame. That was the time when world leaders acknowledged, at the UN climate change conference (COP27), that the climate crisis had reached a “really bleak moment”, with the need for global collective action becoming acute.

The last time this was in place, last July, this trecena brought the first hearing in the DoJ’s classified documents case against the dumpster, at the same time as a Georgia grand jury was considering indictments against him and 18 others over their attempted interference in the 2020 election. The heat was intense at that time, both figuratively and literally, as the Northern hemisphere was sweltering under a “supercharged” heat wave that brought record-breaking temperatures. Sparks were flying, with severe thunderstorm and flood warnings, entertainment industry strikes, high level legal actions, and a great deal of drama. And in the midst of it all the war in Ukraine continued to rage.

And now, as we again teeter on the thin edge of this “knife” related trecena, one of the most pressing issues is the imminent famine in Gaza, and the acute need to bring a swift and decisive end to the horrific attacks on the people huddled there, with their homes in ruins. As this trecena opens, a three-ship convoy loaded with 400 tons of food and supplies is making its way to the region, but a ceasefire agreement has yet to be reached. In addition, it could certainly be said that “enough is enough” not only with regard to Republicans’ penchant for sabotaging all humanitarian proposals in Congress, but in particular, with regard to that party’s blockage of US aid for Ukraine.

As we journey through this time frame we are, once again, working with energies that can highlight sharp contrasts, with Etz’nab’ (Flint) serving as the “knife-edge” between two opposing forces. This can play out in many different ways, even to the point of “severing” realities, as it did in 2022 during the US elections.

While things can get quite extreme during this time frame, as it did with those elections, it is not necessarily all bad, as events that unfold during this period can result in the cutting away of whatever no longer “works” in order to foment change, and even promote healing. There is often a sense of dualities being brought into stark contrast so that whatever is no longer needed can be easily identified and neutralized. This is even reflected in the nature of the patron energies of this time period, with one representing the warmth of the sun and the other representing the coldness of the Underworld. Currently this metaphor will play out quite dramatically this time as a rare solar eclipse will be seen on the ninth day of this time frame.

Indeed, during this period it is not unusual for events of a dramatic, and even “shocking”, nature to take place, as opposing forces vie for dominance. It is also possible that events can become so compelling, or issues so urgent, that they can provide the “spark” that can initiate new forms of thought or action. And certainly there are many such issues that call for “decisive, definitive, substantial” actions at this time in world history.

Looking at the deeper past it is not difficult to find many events that have taken place during this period that have determined the fate of nations, as seen in 1814 when Napoléon Bonaparte was knocked off his self-styled lofty perch and exiled in disgrace to a small island during this time frame, bringing the grandiose Napoléonic era to an ignominious end.

In 1933 this was the trecena that was in place when Herr Hitler and other Nazis stepped in to consolidate their authoritarian power after the Reichstag fire in Berlin, a pivotal event in the establishment of the Nazi regime. In 1948 Mahatma Ghandi was killed on the first day of this trecena, and in 2019 General Qasem Soleimani, Iran’s top military commander, was assassinated by a US drone strike. On the first day of this trecena in 2022 the Prime Minister of Libya’s car was struck with bullets (but he managed to escape), and one cycle later, also on the first day, came the severe attack on Nancy Pelosi’s husband.

This was also the trecena that was in place at the time of the devastating 7.0 earthquake that flattened Haiti in 2010, at the time of Superstorm Sandy on the east coast of the US in 2012, at the time of the terrifying attack on Charlie Hebdo journalists and cartoonists in Paris in 2015, and at the time of the horrific fire that consumed the roof and spire of the famed Notre Dame de Paris cathedral in 2019.

In 2014 this was the trecena in place when the Ukrainian government began mobilizing its military for “large scale anti-terrorist operations” after a day of violence in eastern Ukraine when government buildings in several cities were seized by heavily armed, masked pro-Russian activists. Five years later, as 2019 drew to a close, a “full and comprehensive” ceasefire between Russia and eastern Ukraine came into effect, echoing other instances in world history where particular trecenas have seen the beginnings and endings of specific conflicts. Unfortunately, three cycles ago it was frighteningly evident that a massive buildup of Russian forces was taking place on Ukraine’s border once again, and by the end of the trecena it was clear that Putin had issued a “go” order in his attempt to seize control of Ukraine. But this time NATO allies have fully pledged their support to help Ukraine maintain its security and sovereignty, and the world is waiting for Republicans in the US Congress to decide on whether they are willing to defend democracy or throw their support fully behind the disgraced, indicted, would-be dictator who is still weaponizing disinformation in his efforts to foment anarchy and procure power – a madman who has already shown that he favours Russia and authoritarianism, in the interest of his own revenge vendettas, over the interests of his own country and global stability.

So, in the US, during this period that is leading up to the opening of the first criminal trial against a former U.S. president (as an individual, not a company), the very stark contrasts between the two political arenas will be dramatically illuminated once again. Sparks will fly again for sure, and issues associated with “justice vs. injustice”, “sanity vs. insanity”, and “order vs. anarchy” will be starkly contrasted once again. But this time, it may well be that the voices of reason and sanity will start to prevail as the legal system in the US begins to pull up its socks and show some backbone. As Judge Michael Luttig just pointed out, with regard to “Defendant Number One”: “never in history has any person leveled such attacks and been met with such passivity, acquiescence, and submissiveness by the nation.” But people, and courts, are losing patience with all this, and it may well be that during this period the “law of pre-trial detention” may well kick into gear.

Note that as this “battle between light and dark” heats up during this lead-up period before the trial, there are some interesting “energy alignments” in play . . . .

Firstly, this IS the decisive Etz’nab’ (“the buck stops here”) trecena, the trecena that completes the first half of the Tzolk’in cycle, prior to the creation sequence that follows, meaning that it is time for significant decision-making. Secondly, there is that very rare Solar Eclipse, coming in towards the end of the trecena, on a notable day within this sequence, which (as always) is connected with the New Moon, early during the first month of a new Maya year. And it is a Total Solar Eclipse – which could be seen as world-changing. And it is coming in just one week before the start of that pivotal trial, just after Easter, and just before the end of Ramadan. In many ways this is a mythic alignment!

Keep in mind that this is a trecena that often brings an end to specific forms of “reality”, prior to the creation of something new, so, as before, it will be interesting to see how all of this plays out by the end of this time period.

On a more personal level, this is always an opportune time for personal reassessment, a great time to cut away whatever no longer “works” in order to make adjustments that could lead to new forms of thought or action. It is a favorable time to “clean house” (both physically and metaphorically) in preparation for the “creation” energies that will follow in the next trecena.

During this period it is a good rule of thumb to be alert, vigilant, and to proceed with caution, as this tends to be one of the most intense and consequential 13-day periods in the entire 260-day cycle – definitely a time to “tread carefully”. In addition, please note that the numerical forces associated with the days, once again, are being echoed by the numbers related to the month. And at this time all thirteen numerical forces associated with the first month (Pop) of the new Maya year are precisely mirroring the numerical forces associated with this Etz’nab’ trecena. This suggests a strong intensification of those qualities as we go through this period, concluding with a vigorous 13/13 on the final day.

In 2021, the very first day of this trecena (One Etz’nab’) coincided with the Total Eclipse of a Supermoon, which was intriguing. And now we find that the ninth day of this time frame will bring forth a very rare Total Solar Eclipse, still under the influence of Etz’nab’ which is functioning this time as a trecena. This is a key trecena within the 260-day cycle as a whole, the final 13-day period leading up to the “creation sequence” which will come into place in April. Here are the energies that will be in play:

1 Etz’nab’ 1 Pop (March 31st) – the “initiation” of Flint, a sparkling, attention-getting “shock and awe” type of energy that can dazzle and/or divide and separate, coinciding at this time with Easter Sunday, just one day after the “seating” of the Maya New Year. In 2021, this energy coincided with the Total Eclipse of a Supermoon, and this time this is heralding a very rare Total Solar Eclipse, coming in on the 9th day of this time frame. In Aztec mythology this was the birth energy of Huitzilopochtli, the Aztec solar deity who was also associated with war. Solar events often coincide with this force, as could be seen last July as Earth was emerging from a geomagnetic storm, sparked by a coronal mass ejection from the sun a few days before. This time is similar, as the sun emitted a powerful X1.1 flare just three days prior to this day. Be on the lookout for other flares (or earthly flareups) at this time, and perhaps also eagles and hummingbirds, as these were the beings that the Aztec saw as being representative of that fierce solar deity.

Currently this is the International Transgender Day of Visibility and the last day of National Physicians Week in the U.S. It is also National Indigenous Languages Day in Canada, with this year’s theme being “Govt. Commitments to Languages”. Just four days earlier the province of Ontario moved to allow the use of the Ojibwe language in the province’s legislature, signaling a “momentous change” in policy.

This marks exactly three cycles (780 days) since Russia and Belarus undertook joint military exercises, just two weeks before Russia attacked Ukraine. Two cycles ago, exactly, Russia declared the end of the Ukraine mobilization campaign, after drafting 300,000 people in one month. Obviously that declaration did not hold. The start of the next trecena (mid-April) will mark the 10th Gregorian anniversary of day in 2024 when the Ukrainian government began mobilizing its military for “large scale anti-terrorist operations” after another day of violence and bloodshed in eastern Ukraine when more government buildings in more cities were seized by heavily armed, masked pro-Russian activists. In the Maya Calendar that day was also One Etz’nab’.

It has also been three cycles, precisely, since it was reported that the National Archives in the U.S. asked the justice department to investigate the dumpster’s handling of official government papers, as 15 boxes of papers that should have turned over to the NA were illegally taken to his home in Florida. Much, much more (including hundreds of classified documents) was found after that, along with evidence of his attempts to conceal the records, but it took two more cycles before the first hearings in that case were even held (on the 4th day of this time frame last July). Moreover, the judge in this case does not appear to be in any rush to move the case along to trial.

It has now been five cycles since the 2020 publication of Michael Cohen’s book titled Disloyal, a Memoir, the story of someone who witnessed firsthand what went on in the dumpster’s world for over a decade. He has since published a book titled Revenge, and will be a key witness in the hush money trial that begins on April 15th.

2 Kawak 2 Pop (April 1st) – a “dynamic storm, catalyzation” type of force that often manifests as the “generation of a storm, or a storm of compassion”, coinciding at this time with Easter Monday and Sizdah Be-dar, or “Nature Day”, coming in 13 days after Nowruz, marking the end of the Persian New Year festivities. This is often a day for picnicking and spending the day outdoors. As this is the start of National Poetry Month in the US  this would be a great time to “let loose a little” and either engage in some expressive wordsmithing around this year’s theme of “Weather”, or give yourself a treat and find some other way to incorporate some poetic lyricism into your life.

This tends to be a highly cause-oriented energy often fueled by strong emotion or great passion, as was in place in June of 2016, when Hillary Clinton emphatically warned that electing the “dangerously incoherent” dumpster would be an historic mistake, as she highlighted what that might trigger. Precisely one cycle later, on 2 Kawak in February of 2017, people were already acknowledging the truth of her warning through a nationwide General Strike/National Day of Action in the U.S. at the same time as The Washington Post unveiled their new slogan: “Democracy Dies in Darkness”. Hillary’s warning was 11 cycles ago, and despite everything that has happened since then, despite all his alleged, proven, and observable crimes, he is STILL a presumptive candidate for the 2024 election???? Does anyone have a poem in mind that can explain THAT?

3 Ajaw 3 Pop  (April 2nd) – the “Activation of Enlightenment” – an important Burner Day traditionally oriented around the idea of “announcing the fire”, coinciding at this time with International Factchecking Day and World Autism Awareness Day. This is the first of four Ajaw-related “Burner Days” that run from here until June 1st, so whatever is “in the works” would be “announced” around this time. Traditionally this is a point where clarity can suddenly break through on important issues, with Ajaw’s “full sun” illuminating things that previously may have been hidden. (There are 20 days between each of these Burner “stations” – the next one will on April 22nd) .

It has now been two cycles since Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva won the highly consequential run-off presidential election in Brazil, bringing forth a monumental change in power in that country.

In 1814 this was the energy in place when Napoléon Bonaparte abdicated the throne, and in 1944 this was one of the days when an attempt was made to assassinate Hitler. In 1983 this was the energy in place when the Soviets shot down a Korean airline, bringing the world to the brink of nuclear war.

4 Imix 4 Pop (April 3rd) – representative of the sun working with the waters of creation to bring something new into being, this is a “defining” type of energy associated with “birth” (ie. a “whole new world” or a “whole new way of thinking”). This is the Maya birth energy of Yulia Navalnaya, Alexei’s  fearless wife, who has stepped into Alexei’s former position as leader of the opposition against Putin.

This marks eight cycles since the night in 2018 when Michael Cohen “went to war with Trump”, when Cohen’s secret recording of a 2016 conversation between him and the dumpster was aired on CNN. Since then Michael Cohen has been a major ally for those pursuing criminal investigations associated with the dumpster’s business dealings. Cohen once described his job as a lawyer in that organization as “lying for Mr. Trump”. Over the last few years Cohen has been a key witness in the investigations and trials associated with those business dealings, with the opening statements in the Trump Organization’s tax fraud trial taking place, in 2022, exactly six cycles after that 2018 airing of that recording. That was the trial that culminated in Trump’s CFO Allen Weisselberg being sentenced to prison for grand larceny tax fraud and falsifying business records. And that was well before the New York fraud case that culminated a few weeks ago with the ruling that the dumpster is required to pay $454 million in compensation to New York. Cohen will step in again as a key witness in the hush money trial that will begin on April 15th.

5 Ik’ 5 Pop (April 4th) – the “blessing” of wind/breath, and spirit – an energy that could enhance communication and perhaps even assist with bringing clarity or the idea of “hope” with regard to critical issues or events, coinciding at this time with the opening of the 23rd Annual Africa Conference, at the University of Texas at Austin, on the theme of African Knowledge Systems, which runs through April 7th. The emphasis is on various forms of African indigenous knowledge, including agriculture, medicine, technology, philosophy, linguistics, and spirituality. Since many traditional knowledge systems are being marginalized, neglected, and erased in modern-day African society, this conference seeks to address these issues and work towards preservation of that knowledge.

This is the day of China’s Qingming (“pure brightness”) Festival, aka Chinese Memorial Day, Ancestor’s Day, or Tomb-Sweeping Day, an important day for remembering ancestors. It is also World Stray Animals Day, a day to remember that there are many homeless animals who could greatly benefit from human kindness and assistance, including in Ukraine, where the needs continue to be significant.

This is the due date for the dumpster to pay the $175 million bond in the New York fraud case, in order to file an appeal. (Reportedly this payment was made on April 1st and financed by a company known for subprime auto loans.) It has been exactly one year since the dumpster was charged in a New York State Supreme Court indictment with 34 felony counts of “Falsifying Business Records in the First Degree”, and concealing crimes in violation of election laws. That is the case that goes to trial on April 15th.

6 Ak’b’al 6 Pop (April 5th) – a “structuring” type of energy sometimes associated with “home and/or sanctuary”, but also “the darkness before dawn”, two cycles exactly since Ethiopia’s warring sides formally agreed to a permanent cessation of hostilities, bringing an end to a two-year war that displaced millions and threatened to destabilise a swath of the continent. The agreement was for an “orderly, smooth and coordinated disarmament”.

This was in place one cycle ago when the Senate Judiciary Committee voted on the Supreme Court Ethics, Recusal, and Transparency Act, in an effort to bring more standards and greater accountability to the actions of members of the US Supreme Court. However, it seems that much more needs to be done to restore credibility in that regard. This can be a good time to “hunker down”, reflect, and regroup. Perhaps a good day to revisit anything “Star Trek” related, as April 5th is thought of as First Contact Day in the future history of Star Trek, supposedly when Vulcans first made their presence known to humans in the year 2063.

7 K’an 7 Pop (April 6th) – “self-generating germination”, situated at the pivotal middle point in this “knife edged” trecena, marking 11 cycles since Hillary Clinton became the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee, in 2016, on a day seen as an historic milestone for women. Had she not been thwarted by reckless accusations (and Russian election interference) at that time the last few years would have been completely different.

This was the energy in place in 1814 when the Treaty of Ghent was signed, bringing an end to the War of 1812 between Britain and the U.S.

8 Chikchan 8 Pop (April 7th) – the “resurrection of Lifeforce”, often associated with “strong energy” events such as hurricanes. This is World Health Day, with this year’s theme being “My health, my right”, as the World Health Organization celebrates its 76th anniversary. SpaceX was founded under this influence in 2002.

This can be a kind of “rallying” energy as well, as seen four cycles ago (in 2021) when this energy brought forth a coaltion agreement in Israel, that paved the way to unseat Netanyahu. Unfortunately things later turned around, and, once again, he resumed the role of prime minister . . . and then came the Gaza crisis. However, with the International Court of Justice having ordered Israel to now take “all necessary and effective action” to ensure that basic supplies reach the people of Gaza, it is possible that by this time greater aid will be making its way through to the hundreds of thousands who are in such desperate need. In 1945, near the end of World War II, 8 Chikchan was the energy in place at the beginning of the push by Canadian Forces to liberate the Western Netherlands.

9 Kimi 9 Pop (April 8th) – the “outward projection of death/new foundations, coinciding with the New Moon, and a Total Solar Eclipse. On this day the Moon’s shadow will move across Mexico, the US and Canada, bringing a maximum of 4 minutes 26 seconds totality to 15 US states. This is longer than the “Great American Eclipse” on Aug. 21, 2017. At the time of this current eclipse it may be possible to see Venus on one side of the sun and Mercury and bright Jupiter on the other. You may also be able to see Saturn, and Mars, and even Comet 12P/Pons-Brooks not too far from Jupiter.

This is a classic alignment as Mercury and Venus were thought of as celestial twins who performed a “dance in the flames” during solar eclipses. But another ancient interpretation was that sky-dwelling skeletal beings, referred to as “demons of darkness” (aka “Tzitzimimes”) in the colonial era Florentine Codex, would descend to Earth during totality and destroy the world. Yet another ancient idea was that an “underworld” was located in the sky, and it was only during an eclipse that humans could glance briefly into the land of the dead. There is a suggestion in that codex that it would be a good idea to light incense when the sun disappears (presumably for protection).

So, given that this eclipse is coinciding with a 9 Kimi day at this time, this might be seen as rather ominous. Note how the Lord of the Land of the Dead and the Lord of the Sun can be seen in the image of the trecena included at the start of this article – tying in perfectly with this event. It might also help to keep the Navajo perspective of this type of event in mind, where this is seen as a type of cleansing, with the Sun, Moon, and Earth going through a sacred realignment and rebalancing for renewal. Rebirthing songs are sung as the eclipse is ending.

Also of note is the fact that 9 Kimi was the energy in place in the summer of 1991 when Mexico City and other parts of the country were in the path of a Total Solar Eclipse. That was when a mass UFO sighting was reported over the city, with unusual flying objects documented by 17 people in different places, all at the same time. It became the most documented UFO mass sighting ever. And now we have another Total Solar Eclipse coinciding with exactly the same energy influence in the calendar. Will there be “just” an eclipse or will there be visitations from UFOs or “Tzitzimimes”? A good time to stay particularly alert! Keep that incense handy! And watch for signs of renewal after the eclipse. As the Navajo say (and the Maya would concur), “the sun is part of who we are”, and so this is also a realignment and rebalancing for our planet.

Note, as well, that this is taking place exactly 6 cycles after the first official alert by China, on Dec. 31, 2019, about Covid 19. One cycle after that the global number of cases had reached over 30 million.

Three cycles ago (early in 2022) this was the energy in place when federal judge Amit Mehta ruled that Trump can be culpable for the Jan. 6th insurrection, and lawsuits against him can proceed. He wrote in his scathing 112-page ruling that the dumpster’s statements before the Jan. 6th riot were “the essence of civil conspiracy”, and that the speech he gave on Jan. 6th “can reasonably be viewed as a call for collective action”. Mehta ruled that three lawsuits (two brought by Democratic House members and one filed by Capitol Police offices) could move to the evidence-gathering phase and toward a trial – one of the dumpster’s major losses in court. Note that this energy, bringing this eclipse, is coming into place just one week before the start of the hush money trial – the first criminal trial against a former U.S. president (as an individual, not a company), and the defendant will be doing everything he can to create havoc.

When 9 Kimi was in place in November of 2012 (also on a “double 9” day), Israel was intensifying its assault against Gaza by launching hundreds of airstrikes against Hamas locations, with Hamas firing back. Hundreds of thousands of people took part in protest demonstrations against the Israel-Gaza conflict in over 50 major cities around the world. And that was almost 12 years ago!!

This was also the energy in place in 1918 when British and American forces crossed the border into Germany, in two different places, during WWI, beginning the allied forces’ occupation of the Rhineland. By this time the French had already occupied all of Alsace-Lorraine. It was also in place in April of 1940 when Germany invaded Denmark + Norway and began their occupation of those countries.

This is the New Fire birthday of jailed Iranian activist Narges Mohammadi, vice president of the Defenders of Human Rights Center, who won the 2023 Nobel Peace Prize last October. Her 52nd birthday will be in 13 days, on April 21st.

10 Manik’ 10 Pop (April 9th) – the “bare-bones”/foundational energy of “source” combined with that of the sun-carrying Deer, symbolic of reciprocity but also sacrifice, coinciding at this time with Vimy Ridge Day, which commemorates the deaths and casualties of members of the Canadian corps in the Battle of Vimy Ridge during World War I.

This is coinciding with the beginning of Eid al-Fitr, marking the end of the Islamic holy month of Ramadan. In some parts of India the New Year’s festival of Yugadi (aka Ugadi or Samvatsaradi), meaning “beginning of the year”, will be celebrated at this time. This is the beginning of a new year in the Hindu lunar calendar. In other parts of India a similar festival, known as Gudi Padwa, associated with the trumph of good over evil, will be celebrated at this time. Floral patterned “rangolis” are created to decorate entrances, and special flags are hoisted to celebrate this victory.

In 1814 this was the energy in place at the time of the signing of the Treaty of Fontainebleau that stripped Napoléon Bonaparte of his powers as ruler of the French Empire.

11 Lamat 11 Pop (April 10th) – a “bright light” kind of energy that often heralds something new, or some significant change, coinciding with the full day of Eid al-Fitr (the festival of “the feast that breaks the fast”), the final full day of Ramadan (which began on March 10th). In the skies Jupiter will be very close to the thin waxing moon, which could be reflecting “Earthshine” (reflected light from Earth) at this time. The Pleiades star cluster will also be in the same celestial region.

This is often a significant “heralding” type of energy, as could be seen on that “double 11” (11 Lamat 11 Ch’en ) day in 2020 at the time of the death of the legendary US Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, one of the most admired, respected, and influential women in the US. This quickly turned into “the crisis of the Supreme Court” as politicians wrangled over who would replace her. Since then it has been one disastrous decision after another, along with scandal after scandal.

The dumpster’s social-media platform (“Truth Social”) was launched, in a limited form, under this influence just over two years ago, which had been a monumental disaster as it functions as a megaphone for disinformation and outright lies. On that same February day (three cycles ago) Western allies concurred that Russian president Putin had issued a “go” order for his plans to seize control of Ukraine. At that time they were expecting a multi-pronged Russian assault to begin any day, possibly culminating in what they thought might be a “lightning war”. Russia attacked Ukraine four days later but the war continues to drag on, and Republicans in the US (many of whom appear to be highly supportive of Russia) have done a great deal to add to the misery through their continuous stalling of aid for Ukraine.

Looking back further it can be seen that in 1933 this was the energy in place on that flashpoint day in Berlin when a fire broke out at the Reichstag (assembly location of the German government). That was when Herr Hitler and other Nazis stepped in to consolidate their authoritarian power – a “pivotal” event in the establishment of the Nazi regime. And it appears that the dumpster has a morbid appreciation of such tactics.

Even one cycle ago this energy was working as a herald, as could be seen when Israel Today was published with a blacked-out front page, as a comment on the “darkness” associated with Netanyahu’s pushing through of a highly controversial judicial overhaul bill the day before. It was seen as the beginning of a major fight over Israel’s future and identity. Way back in 2012, on another “double 11” day (11 Lamat 11 Keh, in November, so that might be seen as 11:11:11) then- UN Sec. General Ban Ki-moon joined negotiators from Israel and Hamas in Cairo to begin peace talks to end the Gaza war that was raging at that time. So that was 12 years ago, and still the war raged on!

12 Muluk 12 Pop (April 11th) – a “pulling together” or “grouping together” type of energy associated with water, a good time for people to find ways to be adaptable and to “put heads together” to search for new pathways or find new solutions to problems – – This is generally a very intense energy that can create situations where people have no choice but to work together to find solutions.

This is the day of China’s Double Third (or Shangsi) Festival, aka “The Washing Festival”, that involves the invocation of cleansing rituals to prevent disease and get rid of bad luck, a festival also known as The Banquet of Peaches of Immortality. This is also the Calendar Round (“New Fire”) anniversary of the coming into effect of the UNESCO 1970  Convention, the Convention on the Means of Prohibiting and Preventing the Illicit Import, Export and Transfer of Ownership of Cultural Property – an international treaty to combat the illegal trade in cultural items.

Significant events that have taken place in the past under this influence include:

• midterm election day in the U.S. two cycles ago
• Napoléon’s attempt to end his own life in 1814, after his abdication, rather than face a life in exile.
• The Reichstag Fire Decree in 1933 that enabled Hitler’s regime to arrest and incarcerate political opponents without specific charges, dissolve political organizations, and suppress publications. That was also a “double 12” day (12 Muluk 12 Pax)
• the start of Kristallnacht (“Night of Broken Glass”), in 1938, when Nazis destroyed 7500 businesses, burned 267 synagogues, killed at least 91 Jews, and arrested over 25,000 Jewish men
• the massive protest demonstrations in Moscow against election fraud, in 2012, the day after Russia’s presidential elections

 

13 Ok 13 Pop (April 12th) associated with “transformational love”, “transformational guidance”, or “transformational fire”, this is an energy that holds the potential to be a real “scorcher”, marking 17 cycles since a massive solar flare erupted from the sun in 2012, one of the strongest ever recorded, and 14 cycles since the peak of a powerful X1.3-class solar flare in 2014 (that erupted the night before), which triggered temporary communications blackouts at the time of a Mercury Superior Conjunction. As solar activity continues ramping up towards solar maximum (expected next year), it is possible that there could be more strong solar activity at this time.

This energy can manifest as the final big push away from “sacrifice and separation” towards greater freedom, creativity, and integration, as seen in the Treaty of Paris that ended the American Revolution in 1783. In 1814 this was the energy in place when the Treaty of Fontainebleau was ratified, when Napoléon Bonaparte abdicated his powers unconditionally. The former Emperor of the French “renounced for himself, his successors and descendants, all rights of sovereignty and domination in France and in Europe” and agreed to retreat into exile on the island of Elba.

Currently this marks 16 cycles since the 13 Ok day in November of 2012 when a ceasefire was brokered between Hamas and Israel after 8 days of intense fighting (the fiercest in 4 years up to that point), during which 162 Palestinians and 5 Israelis were killed. As part of the agreement Egypt was designated to play a key peacekeeping role, which it has been doing ever since. However, under the current devastating conditions this is particularly difficult.

This is the International Day for Street Children, which has been celebrated globally since 2012, which begs the question – how many children have recently been rendered “street children” as a result of wars that so-called “adults” have been unable to prevent? Let’s hope that some of this day’s “transformational love”, will find a way to help as many of those children as it can muster.
