The Men (Eagle) trecena: April 12-24, 2025

Easter is just around the corner, and as this trecena begins many in the U.S. will be wondering whether or not they can afford to buy Easter eggs this year, as the economic turmoil, triggered by gross ineptitude in the White House and roller-coaster stock market fluctuations, and the tearing down of government agencies, has millions of people thinking twice about every purchase they make.

As always, this trecena begins just 26 days before the end of the current 260-day Imix-to-Ajaw cycle, and it is not unusual to see events of a “high stakes” nature unfolding during this period. This often becomes a “call to action” type of period, oriented around the idea of “taking a stance” or standing up for particular convictions. It is an energy zone that is often oriented around power, high vision, military strength, and determined action, as symbolized by the eagle. Ideas such as “pushing for supremacy”, “sabre-rattling”, and even outright combat are often connected with this time frame.
Traditionally, the Aztec saw this time frame as being under the patronage of two deities, one of whom was Tezcatlipoca, the awesome and often fearsome “smoking mirror” deity aligned with fire, strength, “supremacy”, and transformation. The other was the goddess Xochiquetzal (Flower Feather), aligned with artistry, creativity, household arts, fertility, and female sexual power. As a protector of young mothers and a patroness of childbirth, she was a “warrior” in her own right, aligned with the idea of “women as warriors”, particularly those who died in childbirth who were esteemed for their bravery.

Adaptation of the Men (Eagle) trecena from the pre-Columbian Codex Borgia by artist Richard Balthazar (used with permission). The first day (One Men or One Eagle) is represented by the little head of an eagle at the lower left (within the border). The other days of this trecena proceed from there to the right, and then up towards the top, to the head of a deer (Manik) at the upper right. The daysign numbers pertaining to this trecena (beginning with One Men) are not shown, but implied. The patron deity associated with this trecena is Xochiquetzal, Flower Feather, shown at the left of the larger image at the top. To the right is Tezcatlipoca, aligned with fire, “supremacy”, and transformation. Click here for an overview of Richard’s various other versions of the same trecana.
So there is a kind of a double layer of “warrior-like” influence during this time zone, with bravery, strength, creativity, ingenuity, and transformation are all tied in with these ideas.
The last time this was in place (last summer) a great deal of energy was channelled towards athletic competition, during the Summer Olympics in Paris. And in the US, as Kamala Harris’s presidential campaign was rapidly picking up steam, a whole new vision for America was unfolding during this period, almost jet-propelling people into action. At the start of the campaign, some $231 million in campaign donations came in, in just 24 hours, and she was off and running, becoming a central focal point for the cause of justice, freedom, and democracy. She became a “warrior”, presenting a “higher vision”of possibilities during this period, and many people became energized to join the cause, and even “dared to dream” once again.
As is so often evident, these calendrical cycles and energies have a way of often bringing things back “full circle” so that “accountability” is eventually brought forward – not always quickly, but eventually. We could see that four cycles ago (June of 2022), which was exactly two cycles after the Jan. 6th, 2021 insurrection, as the Jan. 6th Committee began holding their telecast hearings after conducting over 1,000 interviews and collecting over 140,000 documents. The first three of those extraordinary sessions took place within this Eagle-related time frame as the committee presented their findings, conducted additional hearings, and presented new and substantial evidence associated with the planning and execution of the insurrection attempt.
It had been the first day of this trecena in early January 2021 when the deceptor-in-chief held a meeting at the White House with a large group of DoJ officials to try to get them to overturn the election. That meeting backfired as hundreds of DoJ officials threatened to resign en masse if he went through with his scheme. And even though the insurrection attempt took place three days after that, it was put down and Joe Biden was quickly confirmed as the new U.S. president. He then immediately got to work to bring an end to the insanity of the previous administration, and instantly set in motion whatever was required in order to subdue the raging pandemic. At that time the 117th US Congress was sworn in on the very first day of this period, and Nancy Pelosi made history once again by securing a fourth term as Speaker of the House of Representatives. Those are illustrations of how things can shift dramatically during this period.
So what might be expected during this current period?
As everyone is aware, there are so many unresolved, high stakes issues unfolding at the moment that no one is able to make exact predictions about the future. There is so much uncertainty and volatility that it is much easier to identify major concerns than it is to propose outcomes. However, the topics of concern, in and of themselves, can at least hint at focal points for action, or places where significant shifts might take place.
Front and center, at the moment, is the global tariff war (basically a war being orchestrated by a vile orange lunatic who wants the world to kowtow to his whims). Then there is the war in the US relating to personal freedoms and rights, with the lunatic attempting to say that anyone in the country can be arrested and subjected to prosecution (or even deported to some foreign prison) just because he doesn’t like them, or is seeking revenge. And then there is the widespread destruction of government agencies in the US, and all the blatant grift associated with that destruction. There are multiple fronts to this overarching war of “Deranged Orange Felon and his minions against the rest of the world”. Many of the battles are taking place in federal courts at the moment, but millions are standing up, on a daily basis, in multitudes of locations, to push back on all the injustices. It is a conflict involving words and wills; a battle between good and evil, right and wrong; a contest between a wealthy few who think they can hang on to power any which way they want, and the millions who are caught in the throes of the hurricane, but who are gaining strength day by day, week by week. And it is THEY who will win, because the alternative is completely untenable.

And as that war rages in the US, staggering crueltry continues to be inflicted on Gaza. One cycle ago, during her presidential campaign, Vice President Harris called for an end to that war, saying “We cannot look away in the face of these tragedies, we cannot allow ourselves to become numb to the suffering, and I will not be silent.” While she emphasized that “it is time to get this deal DONE . . . let’s provide much-needed relief to the Palestinian people”, her defeat at the polls did not allow her to work with the government to actually do this, and now it seems that Israel’s prime minister and the current occupant of the White House are more interested in tariff deals than they are in doing anything constructive to helping the starving, thirsty people who are still being bombarded. There are no words for this kind of barbarism.
As this trecena gets underway, indeed it will be calling for the kind of bravery, strength, and high vision that is needed during these challenging times. It will be bringing forth the Easter season, and with it, the reminder of the need for compassion and courage in the midst of wide ranging trials and tribulations. During this period there will also be a reminder of something significant that took place 250 years ago, in Lexington, that eventually brought forth the country that is now fighting for its life and its soul. Perhaps the remembrance of that event and its legacy will further fuel the resolve of American citizens to take back control of their country and their lives before it is too late. Here are the energies that are coming into play:
1 Men (April 12th) – the “initiation” of a high-flying (Eagle oriented) solar energy, a kind of “pushing for supremacy” type of force, now coinciding with the Full Pink Moon. This is marking one cycle exactly since the magnificent opening of the Summer Olympics in Paris last summer, when nearly 100 boats and floats carrying over 10,000 athletes paraded down the River Seine. That was the day when Kamala Harris formally received an official endorsement for her presidential candidacy from Barack and Michelle Obama, and things were looking hopeful.
In the past this energy has often manifested in the form of declarations of war, major battles, anti-government demonstrations and significant calls for reform, and even aggressive actions that have served to advance select interests. At this time this “eagle warrior” energy marks 16 Tzolk’in cycles exactly since the start of the 2013 Maidan Uprising in Ukraine, the wave of protest reactions that sprung up when the then-pro-Russian government declined to sign association and free-trade agreements with the EU, which outraged the large numbers of people who saw this as “a big step backwards”. Little did they know at that time that they would be brutally attacked by Russia in subsequent years, beginning with the annexation of Crimea by Russia a few months later, in Feb. of 2014. And still, after more than three years of conflict since Russia invaded Ukraine in 2022, there is no end in sight. Click here for an overview of the current situation. Similarly, there has been no resolution to the continuing, horrific massacre in Gaza. Click here for a comprehensive overview, recently published by Reuters, of the over 50,000 lives lost in that conflict. It is thought that there could still be some 10,000 people unaccounted for.
Currently this is the 45th anniversary of the day when 22 year-old amputee Terry Fox dipped his artificial leg into the Atlantic Ocean near St. John’s, Newfoundland, filled 2 large bottles with ocean water (one to pour into the Pacific), and then started his cross-Canada Marathon of Hope with a 12-mile run, to raise funds for cancer research. Since then millions have been raised, and Terry Fox runs continue, both nationally and internationally.
This is also the International Day for Street Children, which has been celebrated globally since 2012, which begs the question – how many children continue to be rendered “street children” as a result of wars that so-called “adults” have been unable to prevent? In Taiwan, this day will be celebrated as the birthday of Baosheng Dadi, the God of Medicine. At sundown the Jewish celebration of Passover will begin.
2 Kib’ (April 13th) – a “dynamic” type of energy that can “shake things up” but ultimately tends towards being a “getting down to business” type of force that can lead towards the restoration of order, on the 11th anniversary of the day in 2014 when the Ukrainian government began mobilizing its military for “large scale anti-terrorist operations” after another day of violence and bloodshed in eastern Ukraine when more government buildings in more cities were seized by heavily armed, masked pro-Russian activists. The U.N. Security Council held an emergency meeting in the evening as this crisis was seen as being on the brink of civil war (but later seen by the world as a huge geo-political shift being orchestrated by Russia). That was when some 10,000 people rallied in central Moscow to denounce Russia’s aggressive actions in this regard and to denounce the Russian state media coverage of the Ukraine crisis.
It has now been 11 cycles since special counsel Robert Mueller’s announcement that Trump was officially under criminal investigation for obstruction of justice, at the same time as nearly 200 congressional Democrats announced a lawsuit against the dumpster over his breach of the foreign emoluments clause that forbids federal officeholders from taking foreign payments and gifts. That was how many hundreds of lawsuits ago? Is anyone keeping track?
In 2021 this was the energy in place when President Biden addressed the UN General Assembly to urge world leaders to commit collectively to vaccinating 70% of the world’s population against C-19 within a year.
Currently, this is Palm Sunday, at the beginning of the Christian “Holy Week”; the first full day of Passover, a major Jewish holiday that commemorates the exodus of the Israelites from slavery in Egypt in biblical times.

Painting of Passover meal by Mathilde Hahn Meyer, late 19th to early 20th century. Yeshiva University Museum.
It is also the start of Songkran, the three-day Thai New Year national holiday and water-throwing festival (representing purification and the washing away of bad luck). Songkran derives from a Sanskrit phrase meaning “passage of the sun”. During this festival the old year is symbolically washed away and preparations are made for the new one. Elders in the community are given garlands of flowers. In addition this is the start of the three-day Dai Water Splashing Festival, a traditional festival celebrated by the Dai people in China to mark their lunar new year and exchange wishes for good luck, health, and happiness.
3 Kab’an (April 14th) – the “activation” of “movement” or “earth movement”, coinciding with Vaisakhi, a major Sikh festival celebrated around the world, marking the birth of the Khalsa order in 1699.
This is also marking one cycle since the Venezuelan presidential election, which authoritarian Nicolás Maduro claimed as a win, even though he would not provide tangible proof of the win.
It has now been four Tzolk’in cycles precisely since the start of the Jan. 6th Committee public hearings in Washington D.C. in 2022. On that very first day of testimonies, evidence was put forward to reveal that an “attempted coup” was pre-planned, with that plan being “for all hell to break loose” to prevent Mike Pence from certifying the election results.
This is the Maya birth energy of Shirley Chisholm, the first black woman elected to the US Congress – and a true “visionary warrior”. Her 100th birthday would have been last Nov. 30th.
4 Etz’nab’ (April 15th) – a “defining” type of energy aligned with Etz’nab’s flint-oriented, “knife-edged, shock and awe” dazzle, now marking six cycles exactly since January of 2021, when that frenzied mob, worked up by a diabolical covey of seditious politicians who were trying to subvert the election results, violently attacked the Capitol building in Washington D.C. at the very time when the Joint Session of Congress was attempting to ascertain and count the Electoral College votes to formally declare the results of the 2020 election.
Precisely one cycle later WAPO published Robert Kagan’s article titled Our constitutional crisis is already here, in which he warned that the US was heading into its “greatest political and constitutional crisis since the Civil War”, in which the amateurish “stop the steal” efforts of 2020 would give way to a more organized nationwide campaign. Unfortunately, and tragically, he was absolutely correct!
It might be a good idea to hold onto the thought that this was the energy in place in 2022 (4 cycles ago) when former Bolivian president Jeanine Áñez was found guilty of orchestrating a coup that brought her to power during a 2019 political crisis. She was convicted of making “decisions contrary to the constitution” and of “dereliction of duty”. The prosecution said that Áñez had violated norms that guarantee the constitutional and democratic order. She is now serving 10 years in prison. Is anyone in the US congress paying attention?
Currently this is UNESCO’s World Art Day, National ASL Day (American Sign Language Day), and North Korea’s Day of the Sun, the start of a three-day public holiday and Sun Festival to celebrate the 113th birthday of Kim Il-Sung, the founder and first leader of that country. It is also the 5th anniversary of the devastating fire in Notre-Dame Cathedral in Paris.

A painting in the Chehel Sotoun palace in Isfahan, Iran – a UNESCO World Heritage site. Photo by Amir Pashaei, CC BY-SA 4.0, via Wikimedia Common. This is an example of an extraordinary work art from a by-gone age from a distant land, the likes of which would likely be censured within any cultural context that wants to restrict thoughts and beliefs, discount history, or devalue cultures that are deemed “different” or less worthy. How many artistic wonders have been lost in this world through bigotry and zealotry?
5 Kawak (April 16th) – the “blessing” of “stormy” compassion; a precision kind of energy that can stir emotions and trigger important events, as it did six cycles ago, in the early morning hours of Jan. 7th, 2021, when members of Congress in the U.S. returned to complete their task, even though they had been under attack for hours. That was when Joe Biden and Kamala Harris were confirmed as the new U.S. president and vice-president. On that same day Joe Biden announced that he was nominating Judge Merrick Garland to serve as the next U.S. attorney general. That was the day, as the mess from the insurrection was being cleaned up in Washington, when newspapers around the world ran headlines such as Trump blows up US democracy’: the world watches in horror (The Guardian).
One cycle ago the dumpster was officially a convicted felon awaiting sentencing and further prosecution. BUT – he was also the presidential nominee for the Republican (or more accurately, the MAGA) party. And now . . . 1560 days after Jan. 7th, 2021 . . . . unfathomaby, he’s not in prison. Instead, it’s Trump 2.0 and his MAGA party is enabling him to set fire to the entire governing infrastructure of his own country; dismantle or reverse decades worth of human rights, health related, and scientific advancements (including those related to environmental protections); isolate the US from the rest of the world; and destabilize global trade.
Currently it’s Holy Wednesday, just prior to Easter. It’s also known as “Spy Wednesday” relating to the day that Judas chose to betray Christ. This is the final day of Thailand’s Songkran festival, and final day of the Dai Water Splashing Festival.
6 Ajaw (April 17th) – an “everywhere” type of energy associated with full sun and the power of enlightenment, coinciding with Maundy Thursday (Holy Thursday, commemorating the Last Supper Jesus shared with his disciples).
This is the Maya birth energy of Bernard Lyot, the French astronomer who invented the coronagraph to study the sun’s corona and its prominences without having to wait for a solar eclipse. Two cycles ago, Deep Space Optical Communications technology, or DSOC, achieved what engineers called “first light,” the feat of successfully sending and receiving its first data from far beyond the moon.
7 Imix (April 18th) – “self-generating” birth, an energy often asssociated with the envisioning of a “new order of being”, coinciding at this time with Good Friday, with World Artisan Day, and with World Heritage Day, the 42nd anniversary of The International Day for Monuments and Sites (ICOMOS), with this year’s theme being “Heritage Under Threat from Disasters and Conflicts: Preparedness and Learning from 60 years of ICOMOS Actions”.
In South Africa a major reforestation project is taking place during the three day Reforest Fest, at the Bodhi Khaya Nature Retreat.
This “mid-point of this trecena” energy was in place when Hernán Cortés and his Spanish conquistadores arrived at Tenochtitlan (Mexico City) in 1519, marking the beginning of a “titanic” struggle for power that involved the Spanish siege of Tenochtitlan and its ultimate defeat two years later.
Seven cycles ago (early 2020) the dumpster had “one of the worst days in one of the worst weeks” in his so-called “presidency” under this influence as even his closest allies were backing away from his increasingly inane statements about how to deal with the pandemic.
8 Ik’ (April 19th) – the “resurrection” of wind/breath/spirit; symbolic of the Corn God working together with the wind/breath/spirit aspect of Quetzalcóatl, coinciding with Holy Saturday – the day of the “Holy Fire” ritual in Jerusalem as thousands of candle-holding priests and worshipers vie for position in order to have their candles lit from the Holy Fire at the Holy Sepulchre.
In addition this is another significant day for Hands Off protests that will take place nationwide, across the US – and globally. Organizers are calling for at least 11 million people to participate, as this is seen as the threshold for “sustained resistance in order to make a difference.”

As this is the first day of National Park Week in the US (through to April 27th), there will also be a major push to save the national parks, which are also under threat from the dumpster’s diabolical executive orders.
In the US, there will be a reenactment of the Battles of Lexington and Concord on this day, as part of Patriots’ Day weekend, to mark the 250th anniversary of the start of the American Revolutionary War, which began with those battles on April 19, 1775.
During this weekend many events relating to this anniversary will take place in and around Lexington and in Minute Man National Historical Park. Perhaps this milestone anniversary will remind Americans about the sacrifices that have been made in the past in order to create a functional democracy, which now appears to be slipping away from them very, very quickly as a wannabe dictator works feverishly to take away a multitude of support services and personal freedoms. The question is, will they be able to muster the will and wherewithall to step into the fray and rid themselves, once and for all, of this kind of tyranny? We wish them luck.
9 Ak’b’al (April 20th) – an “outwardly-projecting” type of force often aligned with the idea of “temple” or “house”, deep esoteric mysteries, and even “darkness”, coinciding at this time with Easter Sunday, the final day of the Jewish celebration of Passover, and World Orphans Day. This day is also marking the 7th anniversary of the huge 2018 National School Walkout against gun violence in the US. Unfortunately, that walkout did not prompt the legislative action needed, and the violence continues.
Note that this was the energy in place just over 40 years ago when then German Chancellor Helmut Kohl (whose father had fought near Verdun) and French President François Mitterrand (who had been taken prisoner nearby in World War II), stood at the Douaumont Ossuary, holding hands for several minutes in driving rain as a gesture of Franco-German reconciliation, in remembrance of the horrific Battle of Verdun. This gesture became a symbol of the reconciliation.
Clearly President Putin didn’t get the message, as this was the energy in place at the beginning of a 4-day nuclear war drill in 2016 in Russia involving 40 million civilians, tens of thousands of emergency workers and troops, and more than 50,000 vehicles. It is frightening to speculate on why such a drill was even deemed to be necessary. And yet – still the Russia-Ukraine war drags on.
It has now been six cycles since that Jan. 11th, 2021 “incitement of insurrection” article of impeachment (against Trump) was introduced in the US House of Representatives, as a growing number of Republicans were declaring that the dumpster was unfit for office. At that time Republican Senator Toomey said that the dumpster had “descended into a level of madness and engaged in activity that was absolutely unthinkable and unforgivable.” At the same time Senator Mitch McConnell met with 2 longtime advisors, at which time he said: “The Democrats are going to take care of the son of a bitch for us . . . If this isn’t impeachable, I don’t know what is.” That was 1564 days ago – but who’s counting? If Republicans had had any backbone or principles, and had actually voted to impeach at that time, how much turmoil and grief would have been spared? How many millions of lives would have been saved?
10 K’an (April 21st) – “foundational germination” – a force that can be quite volatile, as in the generation of strong weather conditions or in the eruption of strong emotion-propelled action that could “germinate” into new directions, coinciding at this time with Easter Monday and the 129th Boston Marathon.
This is the UN’s World Creativity and Innovation Day, dedicated to raising awareness about the role of creativity and innovation in all aspects of human development.
This is also the 21st anniversary of the day in 2004 when over a million women, including activists from 60 countries, held a major demonstration in Washington D.C., in support of women’s reproductive rights and justice for women. No doubt the massive demonstrations against the orange lunatic’s administration will also be continuing at this time, as part of the Easter long weekend.
In 1813 this was the energy in place when James Madison (“The Father of the Constitution” and the main force behind the ratification of the US Bill of Rights) was inaugurated for his second term as US President. Unquestionably he would be appalled to see the present-day destruction taking place at the hands of the current occupant of the White House.
11 Chikchan (April 22nd) – inspirational Lifeforce, aligned with Liberation and Higher Consciousness, coinciding with the peak of the Lyrids meteor shower, and International Astronomy Day. This is a Burner Day traditionally associated with “extinguishing the fire” – often signalling some kind of change in direction (particularly of an energy sequence), as was in place last summer when Vice-President Kamala Harris formally accepted the Democratic party’s nomination as their presidential candidate, one day before her Maya birthday.
Currently this is Earth Day, with this year’s theme being “Our Power, Our Planet”. More than ever, Mother Earth is in need of stewards who will help to protect her. Click here for information on initiatives, tools, tips, and events related to the Earth Day movement.

It has now been eight cycles exactly since August of 2019 when an unidentified whistleblower sent a credible complaint (“an urgent concern”) to the inspector general of the US intelligence community, which (eventually) led to the dumpster’s first impeachment trial in early 2020. Two cycles after that, precisely, the US House of Representatives impeached the dumpster for the second time (the first time that had ever happened), via a bipartisan vote. It’s long past time to go for “strike three – you’re OUT”!!
12 Kimi (April 23rd) – a “gathering together” type of energy associated with “absolute foundations” and “equalization”; a “regrouping type of energy” that could help to lay the foundations for new ideas or ventures.
This marks exactly 12 cycles since this energy brought one of the “most insane and
consequential news days in US history”, just before the 2016 election. That was the day when the dumpster’s campaign almost imploded but was somehow “revived” when the hacked Clinton campaign e-mails were suddenly released by Wikileaks, setting the stage for the forthcoming “election from hell”. Amazingly this was also the energy in place when John F. Kennedy was nominated by the Democratic Party as their candidate in 1960 and it was also in place at the time of the death of Senator Ted Kennedy in 2009. This is the Maya birth energy of former US Vice-President Kamala Harris, and is now marking the 7th Gregorian birthday of Prince Louis, the son of Prince William and Kate.
This is UNESCO’s World Book and Copyright Day. UNESCO has named Rio de Janeiro as World Book Capital for 2025, the first time a Portugese-speaking city has been designated World Book Capital. This begins a year of celebrations in that city. As UNESCO’s Director-General Audrey Azoulay has stated:
“Books are vital vehicles to access, transmit and promote education, science, culture and information worldwide. Thanks to books, we keep ourselves informed, entertained and are able to better understand our world.”
But what are federal agencies doing in the US? They are removing books from libraries, telling people what not to read, trying to rewrite history, and restricting access to information that does not fit with their intent to stamp out “diversity”. Shameful and deplorable!!
Sunset brings the beginning of ceremonies associated with Yom HaShoah, Israel’s Holocaust Martyrs’ and Heroes’ Remembrance Day, which continues into the following day. Given the unthinkable situation in Gaza, again under attack, with aid cut off for weeks by Israeli forces, it remains to be seen how this will be addressed.
13 Manik’ (April 24th) – “transformational deer” (which could translate as “transformational harmonization”), coinciding at this time with the full day of Yom HaShoah, aka Holocaust Martyrs’ and Heroes’ Remembrance Day, Israel’s day of commemoration for the approx. 6 million Jews who perished during the second world war’s holocaust. At 10:00 am an air raid siren generally would signal the start of two minutes of silence across the country. At that time cars would stop, and people stand at silent attention in remembrance. One of the traditions associated with this is the lighting of special yellow candles that include Star of David logos. Special celebrations are also held near the Babi Yar Holocaust Memorial park in Kyiv, Ukraine at this time. As happened last year, this national day of mourning has a whole new meaning with the war still raging. As it happens, this is the sixth anniversary of the day when Volodymyr Zelenskyy was elected President of Ukraine, with 73% of the vote.
This is currently coinciding with the UN’s International Day of Multilateralism and Diplomacy for Peace, oriented around reaffirming the UN Charter and its principles of resolving disputes and conflicts among countries through peaceful means, through multilateral decision-making and diplomacy – as efforts continue towards finding solutions to the horrific crises in Gaza, Ukraine, Sudan, Haiti, and elsewhere. In 1969 this same energy was in place when some two million demonstrators (many wearing black armbands) took part in “Moratorium Peace” rallies across the U.S. to protest against the Vietnam war, the largest march in U.S. history up to that time.
In 2016 this was in place when a rapidly growing number of Republicans were calling for Trump to step down from his candidacy (just prior to the US election) and were (as some noted) “stampeding away from him”. Unfortunately, far too many have been subsumed by fear and/or corruption in the succeeding years, having lost their backbones and all sense of decency and honor, and the downhill slide has been terrifying to behold. In 2016 (or even last year) could anyone have remotely imagined that one vengeful, racist, sadistic, manic, myopic, self-centred moron would be so supported by snivelling sychophants and hypocrites that they would enable him to tear down the very fabric of their own democracy and severely disrupt world order, regardless of how many lives were being upended or outright destroyed in the process?
Fortunately, in other parts of the world, sanity, decency, integrity, and humanity are still held as high ideals, and life supporting work still goes on, as will be seen on this day in Paris, on this opening day for the 3-day ChangeNOW summit, where delegates will meet to explore innovative solutions to tackle our planet’s biggest challenges. And for sheer magic, vibrancy, wonder, and the joy of community and celebration of heritage, this is the opening day for the Gathering of Nations PowWow in Albuquerque, New Mexico. This would also have been Queen Elizabeth’s 99th Gregorian birthday.
This is a very intense energy, as seen in 1883 when Krakatoa volcano erupted with such force that it blew the island apart, creating a 130 ft. tsunami and a humungus dust cloud that plunged Jakarta, 100 miles away, into complete darkness. A good day to exercise caution!
